Chapter 19 - Chapter 20 – The Terrifying Consequences of Angering a Saiyan

"You brat…"

Zhao Wuji, who was closest to Su Xiaoqi, could clearly sense the transformation happening in him. This kind of power—he had never seen anything like it.

"Get lost!"

Su Xiaoqi roared, and a massive surge of energy blasted Zhao Wuji away.

"What the—?!"

Everyone present was stunned by the sudden change in events.

But Su Xiaoqi didn't care what anyone thought. Right now, only one thought occupied his mind:

**Beat Dai Mubai to a pulp.**

He leapt up from the ground and shot toward Dai Mubai at an incredible speed.

"Good! Come at me! I'll cripple you myself today."

Even though Su Xiaoqi had just sent Zhao Wuji flying, Dai Mubai brushed it off as the result of Zhao Wuji being careless.

Now that he had activated his martial spirit, he saw no reason to fear a regular person.

But in the very next moment, Su Xiaoqi effortlessly dodged his full-powered strike and struck Dai Mubai in the abdomen.

A sharp pain exploded in Dai Mubai's gut.

"GAAAH—!!"

He spewed a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground in agony.

"Wait—that's the same move Teacher Zhao just used…"

Tang San, watching from the side, was shocked. He realized now that he had underestimated Su Xiaoqi.

Not only had Su Xiaoqi learned others' fighting styles during combat—his current strength was simply beyond anything a normal human could achieve.

Having fought Dai Mubai before, Tang San knew exactly how strong he was—and even he couldn't have done what Su Xiaoqi just did.

Meanwhile, as Su Xiaoqi prepared to land another punch on the downed Dai Mubai, he suddenly felt a wave of killing intent behind him.

Zhao Wuji, now fully possessed by his martial spirit, had launched a surprise attack.

**BOOM!**

But to everyone's shock, Zhao Wuji was once again sent flying, while Su Xiaoqi stood completely unharmed.

Tang San and Xiao Wu's eyes went wide. Ning Rongrong covered her mouth in disbelief.

They had all clearly seen Zhao Wuji land a direct hit—so how was **he** the one sent flying?

Zhu Zhuqing, though equally stunned, suddenly recalled a scene from *Dragon Ball Z*.

When Gohan, the Saiyan, saw his father being tortured by Raditz, he exploded in rage and unleashed an overwhelming power.

"This can't be real!"

Zhao Wuji climbed to his feet again, more shocked than anyone. He knew exactly what had happened:

Just before his attack hit Su Xiaoqi, a mysterious force from Su Xiaoqi's body had rebounded the attack back at him—just like the last time.

He didn't know **what** Su Xiaoqi was using, but twice now he had been humiliated in front of everyone.

Zhao Wuji's face twisted with anger. He had to take back control.

"Second Spirit Ability – Vajra Palm!"

He began to chant, preparing to unleash a powerful spirit technique—

But before he could finish, a furious voice thundered from above:

**"Zhao Wuji! STAND DOWN!"**

The next second, a **giant owl** swooped down and landed in front of Zhao Wuji.

"Flender…"

Su Xiaoqi narrowed his eyes and immediately moved in front of Zhu Zhuqing protectively.

Xiao Wu whispered to Tang San, "Brother San, it's that shady old guy again…"

Tang San subtly shook his head, signaling her to stay quiet. Even he didn't know how things would play out from here.

"Su Xiaoqi, who… exactly **are** you?"

Tang San turned his eyes to Su Xiaoqi, filled with curiosity and doubt.

"Flender, you—"

"**Shut up!** You've embarrassed yourself enough today!" Flender snapped at Zhao Wuji, then turned to the bloodied Dai Mubai and barked:

**"Mubai! If you're not dead, drag yourself over here!"**

Dai Mubai staggered to his feet, clutching his stomach, and shot Su Xiaoqi and Zhu Zhuqing a venomous glare before limping toward Flender.

Su Xiaoqi stared coldly at his retreating figure.

> "Dai Mubai, I'll let you live a little longer. The day I fully master this power will be your last."

> "And Zhao Wuji… you're on the list too."

He had made up his mind: **both** of them had to die.

Although he had never killed before, today had stripped away any naive thoughts. Earlier, he had almost ended Dai Mubai's life with that punch—but he knew this surge of strength was only temporary, born of rage.

If he had actually killed Dai Mubai just now, he and Zhu Zhuqing would've never made it out alive.

He could run—maybe even escape back to his world—but Zhu Zhuqing would die. And that was a price he could never accept.

Meanwhile, Flender sternly scolded both Zhao Wuji and Dai Mubai in front of everyone.

**"What are you two still standing here for? Get lost. You've disgraced Shrek Academy enough for one day!"**

Su Xiaoqi looked at Flender's dramatic performance and couldn't help but find it laughable.

Zhu Zhuqing shouted at Dai Mubai's back,

> "Dai Mubai, from now on, we have nothing to do with each other. I, Zhu Zhuqing, will only ever marry Su Xiaoqi in this life!"

Hearing that, Dai Mubai spun around furiously and roared,

**"Zhu Zhuqing! Are you looking to die?!"**

"Dai Mubai, get lost or I'll personally beat you down!" Flender snapped.

Once Dai Mubai was gone, Flender turned to Su Xiaoqi with a completely different attitude—a polite smile plastered on his face.

> "Hello, I'm Flender, headmaster of Shrek Academy. On behalf of the school, I apologize to you and your girlfriend for what happened today."

> "If you're still willing to stay, we'd be honored to have you. Zhuqing's tuition will be waived, and you can remain by her side as her companion. I also promise you that today's incident will **never** happen again. What do you say?"

Su Xiaoqi saw right through Flender's game. This guy might as well have written "I'm trying to steal your girl for Dai Mubai" on his forehead.

He was also sure Flender had been secretly watching everything unfold. There was no way his timing had been that perfect otherwise.

Su Xiaoqi was barely standing now—exhausted and on the verge of collapse—but he had to play this carefully.

After a moment of fake deliberation, he replied:

> "If Headmaster Flender agrees to let Zhuqing live off-campus, we'll stay. After everything that happened, we need time to cool down."

> "But don't worry—Zhuqing won't miss any of her classes. I can guarantee that."

Flender frowned, then after a long silence said:

> "One month. I'll give you **one month**, no more. Shrek Academy is a group, and I don't make exceptions. If you can't accept that, you're free to leave."

Su Xiaoqi smiled.

> "One month is more than enough. In that time, Zhuqing and I will make sure to… 'get along well' with the students and staff here."

Flender nodded.

> "Classes begin tomorrow at 9 a.m. Go get ready."

"Very well. We'll take our leave now."

Su Xiaoqi gave a simple nod to Flender and the others before leaving with Zhu Zhuqing. At times like this, keeping up appearances was still important.

> **One month.**

> That was enough time for him to make rapid progress. And when that time came, he'd make sure Flender regretted his decision today.

As they left, Flender sighed inwardly.

> "Mubai, that's as far as I can help you. The rest… is up to you."
