For the next two hours danzai spent his time training under Matthew's directions. He had already been made to cover the distance round the temple and back in thirty minutes which he finished effectively. Meanwhile the other people captured from the nayuta incident watched in surprise at the intensive training given to him which he fufills without batting an eye ot complaining. After circulating the school for the third time, Matthew calls him in to rest for a while.
"Danzai...are you a fan of cultivating?"
"What's that?"
"Nevermind"
Danzai walked into the temple and grabbed a bottle of water and gobbles it down before heading to rinse off the sweat from his body.while passing his room to go to the public bath,he stumbles upon a boy with onyx black hair and beautiful eyes,tye same person who met up with Rin and the others when danzai was imprisoned in the school.
"Huh..."
The boy was standing inside a room that seemed larger than what the exterior portrayed. Since he was standing beside the door, danzai reasoned that there were others inside the room probably giving him orders but couldn't understand why there was an apple on his head. Nevertheless, he decided to ignore them to avoid trouble until a gunshot sound was heard and the apple bursted on his head followed by a loud chatter from inside the room.
"Hey... what's all this about?"
The boys in the room gave a minutes silence to grasp what danzai had just said
"What is it to you?"
Danzai grabbed the boy's hand to lead him outside but the boy rejected, with fear in his eyes. Danzai could sense that he was bullied and didn't want to get beaten for leaving with him. Danzai didn't want him to get on their bad side do he left for the mean time. The moment danzai left them, they closed the door behind him and beat up the boy

In the academy, Davi, Rin, Ai, and Arthur head to sky's house to show him their latest discovery on danzai's betrayal. Upon reaching there,blood droplets were found in front of the house and the door was left open prompting them to run in to check

As danzai walked in to the bath, he saw boys and girls together in the bathhouse and they all seemed to be enjoying thierselves irrespective of the fact that they are of the opposite sex. Danzai spotted a corner where the water was empty and no one tried going there so he decided to make the most of the opportunity and acquire the space before anyone comes in
"Woa... it's like a medicinal bath"
Danzai relaxed in the hot spring and slowly dozed off until a woman woke him up from inside the water.
"Danzai..."
"Eh...eh?!"
Danzai stared at her until she fully soaked herself in the water without caring about his presence
"Um... who are you?"
"Sylvia"
Danzai started feeling uncomfortable in the water since he wasn't used to going to baths with females. He tries to create some space between them but she scoots in, closing it even more than the first time
"Are you uncomfortable..."
"Yes. I'm not used to going to baths with girls"
"Danzai... you're in the girls section you know,so why are you having cold feet now"
"It's...um..."
This is bad... light would give me an earful if she found out
"How could a fine man like you not be comfortable...do you have a girlfriend?"
"No..."
Danzai didn't like where the conversation was getting to and he wanted to do something about it before it becomes too late
"Um... Sylvie—"
"It's Sylvia"
"Oh Sylvia are you among the preachers"
Sylvia hesitated in answering the question but later told him
"No...I'm one of the people abducted by them"
"Didn't you try to escape?"
"No...we are basically in the middle of nowhere,do how would I know where is the exit... the only one that managed to escape was gin"
"Gin huh..."
She was referring to the boy with an onyx black hair who danzai saw in that room previously.
"Where is he now?..."
"Probably dead..."
Danzai started feeling dizzy so he decided to leave
"I'll be going now—"
"No!... sorry I meant you should stay longer... please"
"Fine... but can I ask something?"
"Anything"
"Is the embodiment of luck here"
Everyone around him who heard the question including Sylvia turn in shock
