Chapter 1 – Arin Kaito's Normal Life
Arin Kaito was a perfectly normal boy – a student who lived with his mother in a small town. Mornings were for school, evenings for tuition, and nights for video games or anime – his life was simple, but Arin always felt an emptiness in his heart."
I wish something exciting would happen in my life," Arin often thought. His friends believed he was just a fun-loving person, but deep down, Arin had a different search – a world that wasn't visible to him.
Family and School Life
Arin's mother, Yukino Kaito, was a hardworking woman. She had raised Arin alone because Arin's father had died when Arin was young. Arin loved his mother very much, but often felt guilty that he couldn't help her more.
"Son, you just study well, I don't need anything else," Yukino often said.
At school, Arin was an average student. Teachers felt he had potential, but he didn't put in his full effort. Popular students in the class sometimes mocked him, but Arin didn't care about them.
That Evening
After school that day, Arin was coming home. The weather was changing – there were dark clouds in the sky, and the wind was blowing strongly. Arin thought he should reach home quickly. But on the way, his phone fell. As he bent down to pick up the phone, a bright lightning bolt flashed in the sky, and a strange glow appeared around him.
"What... what is happening?!" Arin said, panicked. Everything around him became blurry. For a moment, it felt as if his body was floating in the air.
And then – everything went dark.
Towards Lumora
Arin felt as if he was in a deep dream. He remembered his mother's face, and his heart held only one thought – "Mom, I want to go home…
"Just then, he heard a deep voice – "Arin Kaito… you are now in a new place."
Arin was regaining consciousness, but he couldn't understand what was happening. There was the scent of trees around him, a cool breeze was blowing, but he wasn't in his home or his town.
