'There's something I need you to do for me, Joanna, but I want you to promise me to remain between you and me"
Joanna was suddenly quiet, she regarded me in silence. She wasn't sure what I was going to say, but she nodded…
"I know this may sound complicated, but I want you to trust me that it is not."
"Myself and the Alpha have known each other from way back, and we had a one-night stand years ago. That led to me having his children, boys, twins.."
Joanna was shocked, but she continued to listen anyway..
"The Alpha doesn't know about this and I hope to keep it that way. I'm afraid that if he finds out, he might take them away from me.."
"My lady, I don't think the Alpha is capable of doing anything like that. If there's something I know for sure, it is that the Alpha sincerely cares about you"
I offered her a weak smile. She had no idea how I had managed to come to this conclusion…
