Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The "Trash" in the Wheelchair

Chapter 11: The "Trash" in the Wheelchair

"How dare you! Who dares to speak so arrogantly!" Ghost Douluo shouted.

Then a carefree and unbridled chant rang out,

"First there was the Wind Sword, then there was the Sky. If I draw my sword, I'll be as powerful as a god."

"Boom!"

A pillar of sword energy, imbued with countless wind blades, shot up from the hall, instantly shattering the Spirit Hall's roof. Bricks, stones, and rubble exploded, shooting out in all directions.

Damn, who is so arrogant as to dare to raid the Spirit Hall's lair?

Li Tianyi didn't have time to admire this man's bravery. The already weak him was "touched" by the strong wind, and his vision went dark, and he fainted.

Six years later -

Notting City's Spirit Hall.

The Spirit Hall was usually sparsely populated, and those who came to register as spirit masters were always in groups of two or three.

"Uncle Gong Yin, are there disabled people in the Spirit Hall?" A child, about five or six years old, pulled a young man, his eyes bewildered, pointing to a corner of the hall.

There, a stern-faced young man sat in a wooden wheelchair, a brown blanket covering his lap. He rubbed his nose, as if lost in thought.

Gong Yin shook his head and sneered, "He's just a good-for-nothing who's living in our Spirit Hall, waiting to die. We shouldn't bother with him."

The little boy tugged at Gong Yin's shirt, his eyes sparkling as he said earnestly, "Uncle Gong Yin, I'd love to be a good-for-nothing, just like that older brother. No need to work hard, but still get to eat."

Gong Yin's face froze, his lips twitching as he said helplessly, "Tutu, good-for-nothing is a derogatory term! You've awakened the Battlefield Wolf Spirit. You should learn from your Senior Brother Xiaopeng."

Tutu remained silent, still gazing at the young man in the wheelchair in the corner with envy.

The room was small, and Li Tianyi, in his wheelchair, naturally overheard the conversation and felt a chuckle.

He tried to move his facial muscles, but finally gave up. Smile? He couldn't after the age of three.

Six years had already flown by, Li Tianyi sighed to himself.

After he was knocked unconscious that day, he was brought here by the silver-armored knight. He knew nothing about the Spirit Hall's devastating sword strike or what happened afterward.

He'd tried to inquire over the years, but to no avail. Rumors circulated that two Titled Douluo had been struck down that day, but nothing more.

The Spirit Hall, feeling ashamed, must have deliberately concealed the details.

"You useless piece of shit, you're blocking my way!"

Li Tianyi didn't look up, knowing that the annoying guy was back.

"Didn't you hear me talking to you?" A defiant face sneered at Li Tianyi.

Li Tianyi ignored him with a stern expression, his hands gripping the edge of his wheelchair, pushing the wooden wheels and heading out of the hall.

"Forget it, Pengbo. You're the number one genius in our Spirit Hall. Why bother with a piece of shit?" Gong Yin said, approaching.

Pengbo sneered at Li Tianyi's back, "I thought he was so powerful back then, but in the end he's just a useless cripple."

Gong Yin looked at Pengbo with a touch of respect and continued, "A genius is a genius when he's standing up. What's this guy? If it weren't for the Pope's warrant, he'd have starved to death out there."

Pengbo stared at Li Tianyi's back and deliberately said loudly, "I heard our Palace Master wanted to give him additional spirit rings, but he refused."

"I don't think he really meant to refuse, but he's truly useless and can't even absorb spirit rings."

Li Tianyi shook his head and pushed the wooden wheels on both sides out of the hall.

It was much quieter here, with no flies around.

Gazing at the bright sunshine, he couldn't help but take a deep breath of fresh air, seemingly in a very cheerful mood.

Returning to his beautifully decorated private courtyard,

Li Tianyi curled his lips in silence. His life was truly a leisurely one. With just a token, he had food and drink, a decent living environment, and most importantly, he didn't have to work.

So Bibi Dong meant for this useless genius of hers to retire here.

"Whoosh!" A figure soared through the sky, wielding a silver sword.

Li Tianyi, sitting upright in his wheelchair, watched the aloof, white-clad elder arrive, unsurprised.

He bowed and said respectfully, "Master Chen!"

Jian Douluo stood there indifferently, waving his hand without a word. He then raised his four-foot-three-inch silver Seven Killing Sword and began practicing in the courtyard.

His movements were gentle and slow, so slow that anyone present could easily memorize the sword's trajectory through the air.

Jian Douluo first formed a straight line with his sword and arm, then slowly pushed forward, then bent his elbow and extended it, gliding the sword from top to bottom at a snail's pace .

Li Tianyi's eyes widened, his mind rehearsing the movements.

Jian Douluo's movements grew faster and faster with each practice, until they reached a point where they were impossible to follow with the naked eye.

After a moment, Jian Douluo stood, sheathed his sword, and without a word, soared away into the air.

Li Tianyi bowed again to the figure in white in the air, his eyes filled with gratitude.

The Kata Mountains near Notting City were deserted, with only the roar of the waterfall beside them.

Li Tianyi, shirtless, was standing on a large reef by the water, waving a long branch. At first glance, the movements were almost identical to those of Jian Douluo.

After a while, Li Tianyi stopped, his eyes lost in thought.

I already knew the six basic sword techniques of stabbing, chopping, lifting, hanging, clouding, and dotting, but the last three sword techniques of collapsing, cutting, and scissoring were really hard to master, and I still needed to master them.

Li Tianyi immediately jumped down from the reef, stretched out his hand, and the long branch in his hand disappeared into thin air. He stretched out his hand again.

With a "bang", a heavy object fell from the void, smashing a thick crater in the ground.

Li Tianyi leaned over, grabbed the heavy object, and shook it. When he unfolded it, it turned out to be a specially made piece of clothing.

He shook the weight of his clothes and curled his lips helplessly, "Increasing physical strength too quickly isn't necessarily a good thing. I've been changing clothes one after another. If I don't find a way to make money, I won't have enough to pay the blacksmith."

"Bang!"

Li Tianyi had just put on his clothes, and before he could even exert force, his toes had already dug a large hole.

It seemed he still hadn't been able to control his physical strength well.

Li Tianyi shook his head, then, like a savage elephant on the road, exuding a fierce aura, he stepped out countless large holes and rushed deep into the mountains.

"Roar!"

His undisguised aura and movement finally startled a massive black bear, nearly four meters tall.

Li Tianyi's eyes lit up, and before the black bear could react, he took the initiative to attack with his fists.

As if provoked, the black bear swung its sharp clawed paws and slapped him, simultaneously opening its huge mouth and letting out another heart-shaking beastly roar.

"Can you rival a two-thousand-year-old soul beast of the thirty-fifth level of Soul Master?"
