The sudden kiss came out of the blue, catching Anya completely off guard. The lingering sweetness of her kiss filled his mouth, and he could see every tiny pore on her face, smell the faint fragrance radiating from her body. Their breathing grew ragged, words no longer needed. Their lips met slowly, then responded to each other hungrily.
Tsunade couldn't help but tremble slightly, her eyes hazy and moist. A blush spread across her cheeks, tiny beads of sweat forming at the tip of her nose. Her lips parted slightly, revealing her fresh, damp tongue. Her composed, older-woman aura now mixed with sultry allure—an irresistible charm that made Anya pull her into his arms without thinking.
Though Tsunade had been the one to start it, now under his passionate embrace, her lashes fluttered involuntarily. She felt as if Anya had become a roaring flame about to consume her whole. Flustered and overwhelmed, she wanted to push him away—but found herself unwilling to let go.
A wicked thought from Anya's childhood surfaced in his mind, instantly drying his throat. His hands began moving slowly.
Tsunade, like a startled rabbit, took two steps back and grabbed Anya's wandering hands, whispering softly, "Don't."
Seeing Tsunade in such a vulnerable state for the first time, Anya's inner urge to conquer her ignited, clouding his judgment.
He held Tsunade tightly without letting go, lowered his head, and stared directly into her eyes. "I like you. I've liked you since the moment I first saw you, but back then, you were far above me, never even sparing me a proper glance."
Tsunade's face flushed bright red; her [Monstrous Strength] felt as though sealed, feebly countering, "Not true. I just thought you were too young back then."
After speaking, Tsunade lifted her gaze to meet Anya's eyes. They locked stares, neither looking away, as if confirming the truth behind his words.
Taking advantage of the moment, Anya tightened his hold, their bodies pressing together once more, breaths mingling.
Anya's cold, sharp face leaned closer, whispering in a seductive tone, "So what about now? Can our relationship go further?"
Tsunade hesitated, unsure how to respond.
To Anya, this silence was the same as consent, so he simply leaned down and kissed her again. Their breathing quickened, his hand slowly moving upward, slipping beneath her clothes through the opening.
Tsunade shuddered violently, suddenly realizing what Anya intended. Instinctively, she slapped him across the face.
"Slap."
Stunned by the blow, it was as though a bucket of ice-cold water had been poured over Anya, bringing him sharply back to his senses. What am I doing? Why have I become so impatient?
Realizing his mistake, Anya said sincerely, "I'm sorry."
After speaking, he turned to leave.
"Wait."
Instinctively, Tsunade called out to stop him. "Your wounds haven't fully healed yet, and it's already dark outside. Rest here tonight. I'll stay with you."
Anya stayed silent for a moment, then gave a quiet nod. "Okay."
Lying on the bed, his heart churned like waves crashing in his chest, restless and unsettled.
Thinking back on what had just happened, he bitterly chuckled inwardly. Guess it's been way too long since I had any action—my self-control has really gone downhill. If I had acted like this in my previous life, I probably would've died several times over by now.
The two inside the room fell into a long silence. The previously intimate atmosphere had grown painfully tense. In the end, Tsunade actually lay down on the bed as well, and with a soft, distant voice, she asked, "Are you feeling upset?"
What could Anyao say? You started it, and now you expect me to take the fall. With a calm tone, he replied, "Not really."
"I can let you hold me for a bit." With just this simple sentence, Tsunade reignited the suppressed emotions inside Anyao once again.
Anyao nearly burst into tears. C'mon big sis, if you're gonna kill me with this tease, just say it straight! Don't torture me like this.
Feeling that Anyao behind her still hadn't moved, Tsunade thought he was upset. She then took his hand herself and placed it on her waist.
Unable to hold back any longer, Anyao suddenly tightened his grip and flipped her over, pulling her into his arms.
If things had ended just like that, perhaps their relationship would have stopped there. Even more likely, Anyao would have avoided being alone with Tsunade to prevent further awkwardness. But precisely because Tsunade took the initiative again, Anyao finally made up his mind.
When Tsunade saw the beast-like gleam flashing in Anyao's eyes, her mind went blank for a moment, and she blurted out, "Will we get married?"
"We will."
So, the night passed. When the sun rose high the next morning, light streamed through small gaps in the tent. Tsunade's hair was messy, and faint traces of tears could be seen near her eyes. Her delicate body was covered with a thin blanket.
Now in a sage-like state, Anyao recalled everything that had happened last night. Even now, he still felt as if he were dreaming, almost unable to believe it.
Did I really sleep with her?
He clearly remembered promising Tsunade many things last night, and now they all came flooding back—like leaving Konoha together to settle down somewhere peaceful after the war ended, holding their wedding ceremony at the ruins of the Senju Clan, and never letting any random young girls stay close to him again...
As Anyao recalled these, he kept cursing himself inwardly. Out of all the people he could have slept with, why did it have to be her? There's absolutely no turning back now.
Tsunade had also woken up. After dressing, she stood silently, gazing absentmindedly at the red plum blossom on the bed.
Anyao didn't know what to say for a moment. Once again, the two fell into silence.
Finally, Tsunade broke the silence and asked, "Was what you said last night real?"
Anyao reflexively responded, "Which part?"
As soon as those words came out, Tsunade's eyes instantly filled with bitterness.
Realizing his mistake immediately, Anyao hurriedly tried to save the situation by saying, "It's all true, no matter which part you're referring to."
Tsunade smiled. To Anyao's surprise, she simply took his words at face value. After collecting the sheets, she leaned against him like a young girl.
Seeing such a dramatic difference in Tsunade's demeanor, Anyao was stunned. At that moment, his deep heart was touched. He found her utterly adorable and, opening his arms, gently drew her close.
After a brief moment of tenderness together, Tsunade canceled the barrier outside the tent. After taking a few steps forward, she felt discomfort from her body and gave Anyao a blaming glance, making his heart race.
Together, they exited the tent. By then, most of the ninjas inside the stronghold had already left. Except for a few unwilling to give up searching for the missing ninja, the majority had already begun returning to their villages to recover from the wounds of this war.
"Foster Father." A surprised voice called out.
Anya turned her head and saw a small figure running toward them — none other than Itachi Uchiha, the beloved son of Mikoto.
Anya smiled and casually pulled out a lollipop from her pocket, handing it over to the little boy.
Anya always carried candy — it used to calm Kurenai Yuhi down, but now that she's all grown up, this "sorta" son works just fine too. Kids love sweets, after all.
Itachi happily took the candy and was about to pop it in his mouth when he suddenly remembered something and sneaked a glance behind him.
Fugaku Uchiha had arrived by then too. He gave a small, resigned nod as he looked at the candy in his son's hand.
Itachi happily began eating the candy.
Seeing the scene unfold, Tsunade said, "You two keep chatting. I've gotta get the rest of the ninja home."
Anya smiled softly and nodded. "Sure."
