Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

That being with the black cloak was in a desert that he had created. Luzbell observed him from a safe distance and, without getting closer, told him that he should control himself.

The dark being looked at him with a distant look, something inexplicable, but that's how it was, in his look there was no life, only death and darkness, then he said, with a gloomy voice:

-There is no need to control yourself. If time is in my favor; Everyone is going to follow this path at some point, as long as I exist. The thing is that your balance and those you carry with you have to be subordinate to you, however I do not require that favor from such an insignificant being.

Upon hearing those words, Luzbell was thoughtful, and only said:

-Despite everything it is not correct; life is precious.

Death answered him:

-Something makes her precious to you, and I can see it in your eyes. You escape my reach, being created and loved by the Most High, and having the gift of immortality. Even so, you do not know what life is, none of the celestials, nor those of their highest hierarchy, know.

Luzbell interrupted him saying:

- They can die, there are sacred weapons, so if the circumstances arise, what good is immortality?

Death continued:

-Even so, they possess immortality, and whoever has this gift without a reason to live, only has their existence. So, why do you plan to stop me if everything leads to the same point, they are not celestial beings, here life always has a pursuer unless you are immortal. The pursuer of all beings here is time and my whim, that's how it has been since I arrived.

Between the darkness of his cloak you can see a subtle and malicious smile.

Death continued:

- You, Luzbell, I was wrong, you are no longer the same, your existence has meaning, you are alive, you are not like the rest of the celestials who always fulfill the same function in a monotonous way and at the service of someone; but I admire you, since you freed yourself from the chains that bound you; However, if I end that meaning that makes you feel, and from here I can do it, your life will become pain, a pain that perhaps time will heal or perhaps not, but you will still know that you are alive, it would be better if you did not intervene in my decisions.

Luzbell, with a serene expression, continued:

- I will not allow you to do that to me, nor continue with your unbridled hobby.
