"Your boobs have grown bigger." Hawk commented gulping down his saliva as he observed her from head to toe.
"Wish I could say the same for......" Lilith paused at glanced at his crotch giving him a teasing smirk.
"Fuck you." Hawk blurted out in frustration which made Lilith giggle.
"If you are done watching me, will you tell me where the boss is?" she asked glancing at her watch.
"Where could he possibly be? You know that old lad only lurks around his office." hawk replied. Lilith stashed her suit inside the locker and made her way to the boss's office. She knocked on his door and entered upon receiving his permission.
"Agent Lilith reporting, Sir." She saluted.
"So you are finally back. It's nice to see you here." The boss commented upon noticing her.
Lilith smiled at him and continued to give him a short briefing of her mission.
"That's quite impressive. I guess then I'll see you after three months. Have a great vacation ahead." He finally said the words Lilith had been waiting for. At last, she was going to meet her family after 9 long months.
She rushed out of his office and jumped around in excitement. Just then, hawk arrived with her luggage.
"Here are the things you asked for. We arranged some custom-made Japanese candies for your little brother and an expensive silk kimono for your aunt. I think this should please them." He said while handing over her bags.
Lilith's family consisted of her aunt and a younger 15-year-old brother, who weren't aware of her profession. To them, Lilith or should I say Aria Stevens was the managing director of a multi-national company located in Tokyo.
While she was busy fighting off on the battlefield, the agency took care of her secret by regularly keeping in contact with her family, pretending to be her. She was their best combat agent. How could they neglect her? To top it off, the agency even took the responsibility of arranging gifts from Tokyo every time she visited her home for vacation.
"I don't want any of you leeches to contact me while I am away. I need mental and physical rest." She instructed hawk while taking a seat in the car.
"Roger ma'am." Hawk teased.
She laughed it off.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the fleeting colors of dusk began to fade away. Felix once again glanced at his watch and with a beating heart stepped into le boudoir; a fancy French restaurant. It was where he was supposed to meet the unfamiliar man he knew nothing about.
He had spent the previous night with Oscar, desperately trying to contact Nikita, but failed. He had no other options left besides agreeing to meet the rich man.
Just as he entered, Felix was greeted by a waiter, who guided him to the reserved table. There weren't many people around and no signs of the man he was supposed to meet were found. He concluded Maybe it was because he was thirty minutes early. While sitting there, Felix for the last time dialed Nikita's number hoping for her to answer. But alas, his efforts had gone in vain.
Contemplating if he should try calling her once again, his thoughts were interrupted by a manly voice.
"Good evening Mr. Felix." It was him, the man he had been waiting for. Felix glanced at him and the anger that he had felt the previous day was back. He resisted the urge to hit as he didn't want to create a scene.
The man took a seat right across and flashed a bright smile at him. Only God knew how much Felix wanted to rip his teeth out.
"Before we start, let me introduce myself. I am Alejandro Collins." The man stuck his hand out for a handshake but was rejected.
"I request you to skip the formalities and get on the main topic." Felix arrogantly spoke, keeping his poker face.
"I like how straightforward you are but you see...… my brain needs the energy to do the talking," Alejandro replied with a cheesy smile and hinted the waiter to take their orders.
"Bouillabaisse, Caprese salad, and a glass of martini," Alejandro ordered. The waiter quickly scribbled down everything on the notepad and then glanced at Felix.
"I will just take a glass of water." Felix wanted to get done as soon as possible.
"The atmosphere here is quite nice. I like to bring my dates here for a drink." Alejandro started chatting as if he was reunited with a long-lost friend. Meanwhile, Felix was completely zoned out. He wasn't in a great mood to hold conversations.
The food had arrived and Alejandro enthusiastically dug in as if he hadn't seen food for years while Felix took short sips from his glass of water, wondering what Nikita liked in the annoying man.
Just after he had savored half of his meal, Alejandro finally started speaking:
"I work for the ministry of defense. I am here to give you an offer that you wouldn't want to reject."
Felix furrowed his brows in confusion. It wasn't what he was expecting to hear.
Noticing the bewildered expressions on Felix's face, Alejandra continued speaking.
"The current political situation of the country isn't great. We are at risk of war. The government has decided to up its defense game by investing money in the development of superhumans. This will be a top-secret project and we need your expertise."
Felix still couldn't rationalize if this man was joking.
"Development of super humans? Is this a prank? Should I wave at the camera?" Felix scoffed and looked around for any hidden cams.
"I knew you might not believe me," Alejandro said and pulled a cheque out of his pocket along with his badge, placing it right in front of him.
Felix briefly looked at the amount written on the cheque and couldn't believe his eyes. Never in his life had he expected to be seeing such huge amount written on a cheque. He was pulled out by the trance when Alejandro started speaking.
"This could all be yours. We are ready to offer you fifty times the amount you are seeing right now." A smirk formed on his face as he noticed Felix's eyeballs wavering at the sight of cheque. Indeed money speaks the loudest.
"So should I take it for a yes?" Alejandro asked as he couldn't wait any longer.
