as the bullets are flying she scan room
Bullets flew. She scanned the room.
The EMP shield around her fried them instantly.
She looked around. Saw a table. Grabbed it. Hit the first guy she saw.
Through the wall next came with a laser blade. Got hit with the table. EMP blast through the wooden wall. Broke the table. Sent him through the wall.
Then punch. Sent flying. EMP blast. Everyone in the room out cold.
Then a random guy in white and glasses.
ANTON:"You, lady. We respect strong women where I come from. But unfortunately I can't let you go. You attacked us. Our little criminal hangout area."
He stepped forward.
"Now you suffer the wrath of ANTON the Thunder Foot."
He stepped. Ground shook. Then jumped. Thunder strike with his leg.
Aurora dodged. Fast.
AURORA:"Too slow. So sad."
She grabbed that leg. Spun. Charged the EMP at the last moment.
Then threw him. Flying. Into a table. Gliding.
Then shots came flying right at her again.
EMP shield.
Then another hundred flew at her. Then a rocket.
She saw it. Punched it disabled the rocket in time.
Then blew a hole in the wall. Wide open.
A man stood there. Threw a grenade at the wall.
Missed her.
GUN THE KID:"I AM GUN THE KID. TAKE AIM AND SHOOT!"
He blew up the wall lifted wooden pieces, metal, and bullets. All at her.
Aurora put up the EMP shield again. But this one was different like she controlled it.
Then threw it right at him.
Stabbed him. He fell.
She walked over his body.
GUN THE KID:"This isn't the last you'll hear of me."
AURORA:"Sure. Keep dreaming."
She found footprints. And a missing airship.
She stepped in her airship.
Put in that new device to scan the bounty.
Located the bounty. His location. Scan now.
Scanned the whole area. Nearest camera. Found him. He went forward high speed. Slower airship.
She took off. High speed.
Followed his trail. Then found the airship. Flying away.
Then shots flying right at her. She dodged. Mid-air spin.
Then rapid fire. Blue shots.
She put it on autopilot. Went to the door. Opened it. Wind blasted through.
In that second before she was blown away hit the airship with a strong EMP shot. Sent the ship crashing down.
Then landed next to it.
man in hoodie exited.
HITMAN:"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? ARE YOU EVEN A BOUNTY HUNTER? DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE SIDING WITH ON THIS?"
He stepped forward.
"Don't hunt normal people."
He got out his hidden laser blade.
Ran at her. Full speed.
HITMAN:"I END IT QUICK."
AURORA:"Now you're speaking my language."
She dashed at him. Full speed. Then punch. EMP.
He dodged. Laser blade. Split second.
BANG.
Shockwave. Huge. Sent him flying up. Crashed down. Couldn't get up again.
HITMAN:"How who or what are you? You can't be this strong and be normal."
AURORA:"Just smart."
HITMAN:"You know what you've done? Who you support? The corrupted in charge they do too much. Money. A lot. I was trying to stop it."
AURORA - explain
HITMAN:"The ones recently got hit. Place on them. It's up on the high food chain. The guy I just eliminated? He was planning to inflate the prices of everyday goods. Even when we've got enough. I know times have gotten tough lack of fertile land due to land poison. There are six of them. Control who wants to charge these. Fund their new weapon for the government the Annihilator. Designed to take down the country. We're in trouble if they make such a weapon. Or is it a weapon?"
He paused.
"Gun, maybe."
AURORA:"Then why kill them? There are better ways."
HITMAN:"It's the only way. They've got info most likely spread it. New man to work. Then each got their own job. I've hunted two so far. This one included. One that wanted to inflate bread prices. Combined they'll inflate fuel prices. Then the credits will be too high value in this country. It's a plan to join us to one world government."
AURORA:"You're still a criminal. We must do things by the law. Even if most are corrupted there's a system. Who even put a hit on them?"
The Hitman laughed.
HITMAN:"Law? We all know it died 500 years ago. Or more. There's no law in this world. No only the rich and powerful lead. There's only corruption."
Aurora held her hand out. A digital device appeared calling the Bounty Agency.
AURORA:"Hello. Pick up for crazy guy hitman. Bounty collection."
She put it down.
And slapped cuffs on him.
Then airships landed. It was the DOS.
The Detective exited the ship. Pulled his coat up.
DETECTIVE:"So you found him. Congratulations. You helped us a lot."
He handed her a chip.
"Here. 15k. I don't think the Bounty Guild will pay you easily. And seems like you're on the run. I don't know the full story but because you helped us catch a hitman we've been trying for months, here's a reward."
He paused.
"Let's say a bit of help to upgrade yourself. To help us in the future."
CUT BACK TO PRESENT DAY
KIRO:"So that's how you found out small parts of corruption. But what's your connection to Special Forces? How did you"
The Lieutenant walked in.
LIEUTENANT:"Your food's ready. Lunch room. Your friend half healed up. Waiting for you there."
