From the ruins of the factory, several figures rushed out. At the front was a three-meter-tall Longleg tribesman, wearing sunglasses, sporting a curled mustache, dressed in a pink suit with the lower half shaped like an eggshell, holding a cane.
The moment he came out, he grabbed a middle-aged fat man behind him:
"Davis, who on earth did you provoke?! Mama's tea party is coming soon. Without enough vanilla cake, both you and I will be executed!"
"Baron, I… I don't know either! I just got word from my men — they said it was a Marine named Creed who came looking for trouble. He wanted to steal our vanilla cakes, and the underlings probably refused, angering him…"
The fat man's eyes rolled, and he immediately made up a story, pushing all the blame onto Creed. If he couldn't come up with an excuse, he knew he'd be killed.
BIG MOM was the kind of monster who would destroy ten islands or wipe out entire nations over a mere ten cakes. Now that the factory was destroyed and vanilla cakes could no longer be supplied, he was filled with regret: he should never have been greedy, relying on narcotics and trying to claim that billion-berry bounty…
"Crack!"
But before he could finish, Baron Tamago twisted his neck cleanly.
"Trash!"
He tossed the corpse aside, then locked his gaze on Creed.
"Who destroyed the vanilla cake factory?"
Baron Tamago asked coldly.
Creed simply nodded and secretly probed his attributes:
[Name]: Baron Tamago
[Attributes]: Strength: SS-, Agility: S+, Endurance (Defense): SS, Spirit: S+
[Abilities]: S+ level Armament Haki, SS- level Swordsmanship, SS level Kick Technique, S level Physical Arts
[Devil Fruit / Special Ability]: Egg-Egg Fruit
[Overall Strength]: SS-
"About the same level as Ain. Good practice for her."
Ain, who had recently developed several new Rumble-Rumble Fruit skills, was already at SS- level. Against Baron Tamago, she clearly had the advantage. But since his Egg-Egg Fruit granted him multiple evolutions, it wouldn't be an easy fight.
"Damn you!"
Seeing Creed's dismissive nod, Baron Tamago charged — but was intercepted by Ain, who had been waiting for this.
"What? Lightning?! You're a Devil Fruit user too?!"
He was shocked at first, then smirked. "Little girl, you've already lost. This suit is insulated — electricity doesn't affect me."
"Is that so? 30 Million Volts: Thunder Beast!"
Ain unleashed her full power. A colossal beast of thunder roared forth and blasted him head-on.
In the face of thirty million volts, what insulation suit could stand?
Baron Tamago collapsed instantly — but then his Egg-Egg Fruit's evolution activated, transforming him into **Viscount Hiyoko**.
It was useless. Ain beat him down again. He then entered his **Count Niwatori** form.
Creed marveled at the bizarre Devil Fruit, while secretly scanning his stats again, realizing that in this form his power had risen significantly. The real training for Ain was only beginning.
But instead of pressing the fight, Count Niwatori suddenly leapt several hundred meters back, pulled out a Den Den Mushi, and shouted:
"Lord Oven! Hurry to Vanilla Island! A Marine named Creed has destroyed our factory!"
He wasn't stupid. After evolving twice and still failing to beat Creed's companion, he knew he couldn't win. Better to call for reinforcements.
Creed had been wondering how to find another SSS-level opponent. Seeing Baron Tamago making the call, he even stopped Ain from interrupting.
"Good. Call them. Saves me the trouble."
Count Niwatori felt tricked, but still trusted in the might of the BIG MOM Pirates. For years, anyone who challenged them had been drowned in the sea, even Marine officers. Today wouldn't be any different.
"Lord Oven will arrive soon. I just have to hold on!"
But Ain, unwilling to give him room, attacked again with full power.
"Rumble—!"
Thunder boomed, turning the battlefield into scorched craters hundreds of meters wide. Count Niwatori was overwhelmed, barely hanging on.
The massive clash drew the attention of the entire town. People whispered: could this disturbance really summon one of the Sweet Commanders?
Soon, a massive ocher-colored ship docked in the harbor, its flag depicting a skull with lipstick, a top hat, and a fur-lined collar.
"It's Minister Oven's ship!"
"The Hot-Hot Fruit user!"
"That Marine is dead now!"
The townsfolk roared with excitement.
On the street, Creed noticed the ship. His Observation Haki detected powerful auras aboard.
"So this is Charlotte Oven… Hm? No treasure chest?"
He looked disappointed.
"Then you're useless to me!"
He unsheathed his blade and unleashed a mighty slash across the sea:
"Rinne: Tengan no Michi (Path of the Heavenly God)!"
On the ship, a tall, muscular man with fiery hair shaped into three points stepped out. Bare-chested, wearing orange pants, a cloak, and gloves — Charlotte Oven, fourth son of Big Mom.
Beside him stood a purple-haired, sharp-nosed man — Charlotte Brownie, Big Mom's thirty-second son.
They had rushed here after Baron Tamago's call.
"Baron Tamago grows more useless by the day. Since when do Marines inspire fear in the New World? Especially against us, the BIG MOM Pirates!"
"Last month we sank three G-5 Marine battleships. Their base commander even had to bow his head and pay compensation. That's the might of the Big Mom Pirates. After this, we'll make Baron Tamago answer for his shame!"
Brownie sneered, and Oven nodded in agreement.
But the next instant their faces twisted in shock—
"Clang!"
A colossal slash of lightning-forged sword energy came crashing down, blindingly bright, unstoppable in might.
Even before it struck, Oven and Brownie felt their bodies pierced with searing pain. Even coating themselves in Armament Haki could not shield them.
"This… this is a Great Swordsman's strike!"
"Heat Sea: Ten Thousand Waves!"
Oven roared, unleashing his most powerful technique in desperation.
"Boom!!!"
