Chapter 122 - Chapter 122

Inside the grand hall.

Angus had already finished listing out all of Creed's crimes before loudly declaring:

"Jury, please give your verdict."

While Creed was bound by the mechanisms, a group of jurors entered, joining this great trial.

"Repeatedly violating the treaties established by the World Government, unforgivable!"

"His crime cannot be pardoned!"

"I recommend also pursuing his grandfather Garp's responsibility."

"Yes! Garp must be connected with his son Dragon, otherwise how could the Revolutionary Army escape the World Government's pursuit time and again?"

"Yes! Garp must be investigated."

The jurors all voiced their opinions, making Creed sneer coldly:

"One man acts, one man bears. You can deal with me, but what's the point of dragging my grandfather into this?"

"If you want us not to pursue Garp's involvement, then you must do something for the World Government."

Angus stared at Creed, his eyes flashing with smugness.

As expected, Garp was this boy's weak spot! As long as they used Garp as leverage, this trial would end perfectly.

"What is it?"

Creed asked calmly.

"Use your ability to perform the Perpetual Youth Surgery on our great Lord Imu!"

Angus did not bother hiding it, directly laying it out.

Today, he was certain Creed would die regardless—whether he agreed or not.

Creed agrees, he dies. He refuses, he dies even quicker.

After all, once the Devil Fruit's user dies, the fruit will reincarnate into a nearby fruit. They had already made thorough preparations for this.

"As long as Lord Imu attains eternal life, our Celestial Dragons will forever stand at the peak of this world, looking down upon all!"

Angus roared in his heart, wishing he could immediately drag Creed before Imu.

At the side, Akainu and the others' faces all changed drastically.

They had come here under orders to arrest Creed for trial, but they hadn't expected this hidden agenda.

It was obvious now—the World Government's true goal was Creed's Ope Ope no Mi!

All the charges against him were merely excuses!

This twist made Akainu uneasy, but since it involved Imu, the supreme ruler, he couldn't reveal his discontent.

Now, all he could do was help Angus carry out this trial.

All eyes fell sharply onto Creed, waiting for his response.

Most of them thought Creed would definitely agree—especially if he truly cared about Garp.

Even Onigumo and Doberman, elite Vice Admirals, looked worse than Akainu. In their hearts, Garp was an undisputed hero of the Navy.

And now, their hero was being used as leverage to threaten Creed, the Navy's future.

But since this was about Imu, they dared not voice their dissatisfaction.

The room grew deathly silent, oppressive and suffocating.

"What if I refuse?!"

Creed smiled faintly, as if the one on trial was not him, but everyone else.

"Refuse? Then you'll be executed immediately! And we'll also pursue Garp's responsibility!"

Angus narrowed his eyes, killing intent surging.

At his signal, two Vice Admirals immediately drew their blades, pressing them against Creed's neck.

He offered one last chance:

"If you agree, before the surgery, whatever conditions you want, the World Government will grant them. We could even make Garp the Fleet Admiral!"

After all, Creed's mastery of the Ope Ope no Mi was likely far deeper than anyone else's. If they had to start over with a new user, who knew how long it would take to develop the fruit's true potential?

"Hahaha! So this is the so-called World Government! You're nothing but dogs groveling before Imu!"

Creed laughed wildly, sweeping his gaze across the room.

"Insolence! Cut him down!"

Suddenly, Angus felt an inexplicable and powerful sense of dread welling up inside him, and he hurriedly gave the order.

"Slash!"

Blood sprayed, heads rolled!

But the ones who died weren't Creed—

It was the two Vice Admirals who had placed their blades on his neck!

Shockingly, they had swung their swords at each other's throats, killing each other in a bizarre double suicide. It was as if they had fallen under a spell!

"Everyone shut your eyes and rely on Observation Haki—don't meet his gaze!"

Abraham quickly shouted, realizing what had happened.

When Creed swept his gaze across the room, his eyes had changed—blood-red pupils with black tomoe spinning into a windmill pattern.

That sinister power nearly trapped even Abraham's will.

Angus and the jurors quickly backed away, but he kept shouting:

"He's still bound by seastone restraints, don't panic! Kill him!"

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

CP0 agents and Vice Admirals drew their swords, preparing to strike.

After all, a Devil Fruit user bound by seastone shouldn't be feared.

"Hahaha! Just you lot? You've underestimated me far too much!"

"Boom! Boom!"

Creed surged to his feet, shattering the seastone mechanisms binding him.

His right arm crackled with lightning as he launched a punch straight at Angus!

"Roar!"

The violent punch turned into a thunderous underworld hound, twisting the very air as it barreled forward!

It was the move he had extracted from Akainu's SSS+ level martial arts—Meiken (Underworld Dog)!

"Damn it!"

Abraham lunged forward, his hands covered in dense Armament Haki, pushing against the attack.

"Boom!"

Lightning exploded everywhere, and Abraham was forced back several steps before steadying himself.

"ROOM!"

Creed smirked coldly, summoning his ROOM to encompass the entire chamber.

Within this space, no one could escape his judgment.

Next, he prepared to end Angus with a single strike.

Since they had already torn off the mask, Creed would not hold back.

He would kill them all if necessary!

"If one respects me, I return with tenfold courtesy. But if one dares insult me, I return with tenfold vengeance!"

"Great Eruption!"

But just then, a terrifying heatwave surged forth. Creed was forced to raise his sword in defense.

"Boom!"

Molten magma and blazing lightning clashed violently, setting the entire chamber ablaze.

Walls melted from the heat, everything igniting into roaring flames.

Akainu's magma, having awakened, was no longer just a thousand degrees—it had multiplied several times over.

Yet even so, it couldn't stop Creed. He instantly teleported to Angus's side, sword raised high.

"Chief Justice, now it's my turn to judge you. For your unforgivable crimes, I sentence you to hell!"

"Over my dead body!"

Abraham's figure blurred, intercepting once again. With a deafening clash of steel, he blocked Creed's descending strike.
