Chapter 124 - Chapter 124

After swapping the bodies of the Celestial Dragons and their pets, Creed immediately used the Pika Pika no Mi's light-speed ability to leave Mary Geoise.

He knew several powerhouses stronger than himself resided there. No matter how many abilities he possessed, in the face of overwhelming strength, it was still too risky. Retreat was the only option.

He had to admit, Kizaru's Pika Pika no Mi was unrivaled in speed.

While his own Rairyūshutsu (Lightning Flash) could rival it over short distances, it lacked the long-range endurance of the Pika Pika no Mi.

After all, his lightning control ability was extracted from Falkor—it wasn't true elementality.

At this moment, Creed's body had become pure light, streaking joyfully through the skies.

But in the very next instant—

"Ha!"

Just centimeters behind him, a ripple of transparent air appeared, from which a golden arrow shot forth.

"Pu!"

He had no time to dodge. The golden light pierced straight through his chest, blood raining down through the sky.

Creed looked down in shock, realizing his heart had been blown open by a gaping hole!

The golden arrow carried immense Armament Haki, instantly shattering his elementality and tearing into his true body.

"Argh!"

Pain and fading life flooded him as he screamed, plummeting toward the ground.

Suddenly—

Creed jolted awake, drenched in sweat, his body unharmed.

It had felt real, too real—but it wasn't an illusion.

It was the ability of his advanced Observation Haki—Future Sight! He had seen moments ahead!

"Rinnegan: Susanoo!"

Without hesitation, Creed activated his strongest power, covering his body in dense Armament Haki.

"Clang!"

Blue energy roared forth, manifesting into a colossal armored warrior wielding the Yata Mirror.

Susanoo: Second Form (Half-Body).

"Ha!"

The void rippled again, the golden arrow appearing exactly as foreseen.

"Bang!"

The armored Susanoo raised the Yata Mirror, blocking it head-on.

"Crack!"

With a shattering sound, the mirror split apart.

"Rinne: Tenjinzan (Heavenly God Slash)!"

Creed countered instantly, his lightning-charged blade cleaving into the golden arrow.

"Thunk!"

Within the storm of lightning, the golden arrow's glow resisted fiercely, forcing its way through layer after layer of destruction.

"What the hell?! This is just like the Pamu Pamu no Mi's ability to never miss its target!"

Creed's eyes widened in alarm. He dared not hold back—his sword turned pitch-black, unleashing a hellish strike.

The Blade of Calamity!

"Boom!"

A monstrous dark slash roared forth, like a prehistoric beast, consuming the arrow whole.

"Rumble!"

Even then, the golden arrow's power shook violently within, but at last it was snuffed out.

"Whoosh!"

Creed realized instantly—the Five Elders had acted. Not daring to linger, he transformed into light once more, fleeing at maximum speed.

Back in Mary Geoise's central park:

"What?!"

The second Elder gasped, stunned that his golden arrow had failed.

His weapon was no ordinary bow—it was once a golden serpent that ate the Kami Yumi no Mi (Divine Bow Fruit), now fully awakened.

Its ability: a one-hit kill—to lock onto a target's heart and pierce it without fail.

Once unleashed, the golden arrow could pierce even an Admiral.

But Creed had survived.

The first Elder sighed as the yellow light vanished on the horizon.

"To evade the Divine Bow Fruit's killing shot… Creed has already become a true threat."

He glanced at the serpent-headed bow, now listless, and shook his head.

The Divine Bow Fruit's awakened ability could only be used once every five years. There would be no second arrow.

"He reacted in less than a second… That's Future Sight, like Katakuri's. How could someone so young master it? Impossible…"

The third Elder frowned deeply.

The fourth Elder looked at the bloody words scrawled earlier: "Creed's Judgment."

He muttered, "This time, we've lost face."

Meanwhile, chaos reigned in the park.

"Five Elders, fix us immediately! And kill that brat!"

"You're useless—letting him infiltrate the Holy Land like this! I'll tell Lord Imu to strip you of power!"

"Waaaah! I don't want to stay like this! Help us!"

Dog-bodied Celestial Dragons cried and raged, their grotesque forms humiliating the Elders.

The Five Elders' faces darkened. Some of those affected were elder-level Celestial Dragons, leaders of the Tenryuubito Council. Even Imu had to acknowledge their authority.

"This has gone too far," one Elder snapped.

"Spread the order—Creed is a Navy traitor! Every World Government branch is to hunt him down! His bounty: 2 billion berries!"

"Understood!"

Akainu and the others, though seething, could only obey.

The next day, the world was shaken.

The headlines blazed across the seas:

Creed — Navy Traitor!

Bounty: 2,000,000,000 berries!
