Byung was getting along with Rodell and knew he had to ask questions because this could be his only chance to do so.
"I know why you're here, Byung," Rodell pointed out, forcing Byung to choose his next words carefully.
"Do you?" Byung questioned, not wanting to give anything away, and Rodell smiled at him.
"Yes, you have come for the goblin in our care," Rodell said, and Byung knew there was no denying it.
However, if he admitted it, there was no doubt he would try to use it as a bargaining chip.
But this was Murkfang. Byung had no idea if he was still alive.
"That is correct," Maui spoke for him as she noticed Byung was lost in his thoughts.
"I have bad news. He is no longer in our care," Rodell informed the pair.
"What do you mean he is no longer in your care?" Maui asked with a raised eyebrow.
"He escaped," Rodell said straight out. He wasn't afraid to admit it, even though it was all a trick.
"But he is alive, isn't he?" Maui questioned, and Rodell shrugged casually.
