Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Going Home

Early the next morning, before dawn, Elysia had already packed her things and left. As soon as he woke up, Nangong Yu saw Elysia's farewell message on his phone.

"Farewells are often sad. Let's freeze our memories in the beautiful last night. Looking forward to seeing you next time~"

The playful tone brought a smile to Nangong Yu's lips, and he quickly typed a reply.

"Mm, I look forward to the day you come."

Last night, when everything was over, under the fireworks, he extended an invitation.

Elysia agreed with a smile, but she needed to settle everything on her side before she could go to him.

Beep beep.

Nangong Yu had just finished dressing when he received Elysia's reply.

"Hehe, I'll finish up as soon as possible. Oh, and A Yu, I've left a surprise for you. Remember to sign for it properly~"

"A surprise? Where?"

"It's a secret~"

After a few more casual jokes, Nangong Yu stretched and walked out of his room. It was time to pack up and go home.

"Ah, it's A Yu. Good morning~"

Opening the door, he happened to run into Kiana, who had clearly just woken up as well.

She yawned, scratched her messy white hair, and stood in the hallway disheveled, looking groggy as if she hadn't washed up yet.

"Mm, morning."

Nangong Yu greeted her with a smile, intending to go downstairs first, but Kiana, now a bit more awake, suddenly called out to him.

"Oh, right, A Yu, why didn't you come to set off fireworks yesterday?"

"Fireworks?"

Weren't those specially arranged by Sister Aili?

"Yeah, Elysia said she prepared a lot of fireworks for us to have fun with. Everyone went yesterday, why didn't I see you or Elysia?"

As she said this, Kiana mumbled groggily, "Speaking of which, Elysia is really strange. She insisted we only start lighting the fireworks at sunset..."

Nangong Yu couldn't hear the rest of her words clearly, but the sudden realization of the truth greatly shocked him.

Elysia, was all of this in your calculations?!

But he had to admit, when the fireworks bloomed and illuminated Elysia's slightly flushed cheeks, it was truly captivating. The beauty of that moment had been etched into his heart, and he probably would never forget it.

After breakfast and packing their things, a hint of reluctance arose in their hearts as they left the beach and locked the gate.

"It feels like time flew by so fast," Kiana sighed with a hint of wistfulness, looking at the iron gate that once again obscured the beach.

"Perhaps it's because everyone was so happy together," Mei said gently, comforting her, standing beside Kiana.

"Alright, it's not like we won't have a chance to come again."

Patting Seele's small head, Nangong Yu walked ahead.

"Let's go, it's time to go home."

Although he spoke casually, everyone forgot one thing.

Nangong Yu seemed to get airsick.

...

"Ugh..."

After getting off the plane, Nangong Yu immediately felt dizzy, the world spinning, his stomach churning. He wanted to vomit but couldn't, only dry heaving in pain.

"Brother, are you okay?!"

Supporting her brother's body worriedly, Seele was so anxious she was almost in tears, filled with self-reproach.

How could she have forgotten about her brother's airsickness?

Not just Seele, Bronya also felt heartbroken looking at Nangong Yu in this state. His pale face made them worry if something serious was wrong.

"I, I'm fine... Just help me back to rest..."

They hastily hailed a taxi, and Seele and Bronya helped Nangong Yu into it.

"Are you okay? Do you need us to come with you?"

Mei and the other two gathered around worriedly, frowning as they asked Nangong Yu, who was already lying in the seat.

"It's fine, Seele and Sister Bronya are enough. Everyone else should go home first."

After gently replying to everyone, Seele carefully hugged her brother's body, letting him lean on her.

"If there's any problem, call us immediately. Let him go back and rest quickly."

"Mm."

Bronya waved to the others, and the taxi driver quickly started the car upon receiving the signal.

Watching the taxi merge into traffic and quickly disappear, Sirin sighed and slowly said, "Hope he's okay."

Perhaps it was because of the 'once bitten, twice shy' effect, but this time, Nangong Yu regained consciousness after only one afternoon.

"Water..."

His parched throat emitted a hoarse sound, and soon, Nangong Yu felt the rim of a glass against his lips. He instinctively opened his mouth and began to drink in small sips.

He didn't stop until he had finished the entire glass of water, then he let out a sigh of relief.

Opening his eyes, he immediately met Bronya's somewhat worried gaze.

"How do you feel?" She put down the glass and asked with concern.

"Much better. Thank you and Seele."

The churning sensation in his stomach had disappeared, and although his head was still a bit dizzy, it wasn't serious and didn't affect his movements.

The familiar surroundings made him realize that he was back in his bedroom at home.

"I didn't do anything. Do you want another glass of water?"

Bronya poured another glass of warm water and looked at him, asking.

"Not for now. Let me rest for a bit."

Click.

The sound of the door opening attracted their attention. Seele walked in, carrying a bowl of porridge, and quietly said, "Sister Bronya, you should eat something first..."

As soon as she placed the tray on the table, Seele's gaze met Nangong Yu's, who was lying on the bed, smiling at her.

"Brother, you're awake!"

Her slightly anxious expression quickly turned into surprise. Seele eagerly approached the bed, and just as she was about to pounce, she quickly stopped herself and cautiously leaned closer to her brother.

"Brother, are you alright?"

"It's just motion sickness. You and Bronya are a bit overly worried."

Nangong Yu said helplessly, propping himself up against the headboard, then opened his arms to Seele.

"You wouldn't know how scary you looked when you just got off the plane."

Watching Seele happily go over to be hugged, Bronya suppressed a faint feeling of envy and, with her arms crossed, said with some dissatisfaction.

"That was a miscalculation. I was too happy these past few days and forgot about my airsickness."

Thinking of this, Nangong Yu also felt a headache. It seemed he had to remember it firmly from now on.

"It's all Seele's fault. If Seele had remembered, Brother wouldn't have been so uncomfortable."

"What are you talking about? Even I forgot, so it's normal for Seele not to remember, isn't it?"

Patting Seele's shoulder in his embrace, Nangong Yu suddenly heard his phone vibrate.

New message?

As soon as he shifted his gaze, he saw Bronya handing him his phone.

"Thank you."

He casually thanked her, and Nangong Yu lit up the screen. Seele's small head also curiously leaned over, openly peeking.

Nangong Yu didn't mind, he rubbed Seele's small head, then opened the message notifications.

The pop-ups were from Kiana, Mei, and Sirin; they were all asking about his condition in the group chat.

After reporting his safety in the group, he noticed a new message on the Honkai Blog.

'The blogger Fairy Miss you follow has published a new tweet~'

Elysia?

He clicked on it curiously, and soon, the tweet's details appeared on the screen.

'Had a very, very, very happy holiday, love you?~'

Below it was a photo, showing two blurred figures leaning against each other, sitting on a reef, with brilliant fireworks blooming in the boundless night sky.

This message from Fairy Miss, after half a month, instantly caused a flurry of comments.
