Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Wedding Night

The moon hung low over the forest, its silver light filtering through the delicate curtains of the royal chamber. The room was a sanctuary of soft furs, woven tapestries, and glowing crystal lanterns that cast a warm, intimate glow. Elena and Rayan sat close to each other. The celebration had been a distant event, and now, alone, the reality of their marriage night settled in.

Elena fidgeted with the emerald necklace, her fingers tracing its intricate silver vines. Her ceremonial gown had been replaced with a sheer silk nightdress that clung to her curves, leaving little to the imagination. Rayan, in a simple linen tunic and trousers, couldn't stop his eyes from wandering, his cheeks flushing a deep crimson.

"Are you… nervous?" Elena asked, her voice a soft melody, though it carried a hint of amusement. She stepped closer, the silk swishing against her thighs.

Rayan swallowed hard, his throat bobbing. "Nervous? Me? No, I'm… I mean, maybe a little." He scratched the back of his neck, his youthful lust betrayed by the awkwardness in his stance. "I've never… you know."

Elena's brow arched, a flicker of doubt crossing her face. "Never? Not even with one of the friends of yours? You've… tons of girls around you?" Her tone was teasing, but there was a genuine question beneath it.

"I swear ," Rayan said, stepping closer, his voice earnest. "I had… no time for… that." His eyes met hers, wide and sincere.

"Well," she accepted understanding his reasoning he had been through a lot that's why I guess a smile tugging at her lips, "then I suppose I'll have to teach you, my prince." She closed the distance, her hand brushing his chest, sending a jolt through him. Despite the boldness she herself was clueless what to do. The air grew thick with anticipation, their instincts overriding their embarrassment.

Rayan's hands hovered uncertainly before settling on her waist, his touch tentative but warm. "I want to do this right," he murmured, his breath hot against her ear. Elena's heart raced, her doubts melting under the sincerity in his voice. She guided his hands to her breast and showing him where to touch, her own breath hitching as his fingers grew bolder.

Their lips met, clumsy at first, a tangle of inexperience and eagerness. But the kiss deepened, fueled by a primal need that neither could deny. Elena's fingers tugged at his tunic, pulling it over his head to reveal a lean, muscular frame honed by years of training. Rayan's hands, no longer hesitant, explored her curves, the silk nightdress sliding gracefully in a whisper of fabric.

"You're stronger than you look," Elena teased, her voice breathy as Rayan lifted her effortlessly and placed her on the furs. His eyes burned with a mix of adoration and desire, his youthful vigor shining through as he pressed himself against her. The sudden intrusion made her bleed and brought tear in her eyes but she hold the moan.

The night unfolded in a blur of passion, awkward at times but undeniably intense. Elf males tends to have feminine feature and lower stamina. But Rayan's stamina surprised them both, his movements growing more confident as he learned her body. Elena, guiding him with whispered encouragement, found herself lost in the heat of his touch, her own desires awakened by his relentless energy. Their union was a dance of instinct and affection, each moment building toward a crescendo that left them both breathless.

As they lay tangled in the furs, sweat-slicked and panting, Elena traced lazy circles on Rayan's chest. "You're… more than I expected," she said, her voice soft but playful. "I thought I'd have to lead you through every step. I even studied about it before marriage."

Rayan grinned, his cheeks still flushed. "I'm a quick learner." looking down at her. "How many children do you think we'll have?" It was his turn to tease.

Elena's laughter was bright, echoing in the quiet chamber. "As many as the Great Tree has leaves, if you keep that up." Her expression turned thoughtful, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "You know, Rayan, our people need to grow. I won't mind if you… take mistresses. Sire tons of children with others. You know that you're only adult male left now. And It's our duty to rebuild. So you should do your part."

Rayan blinked, stunned. "You… encourage that?"

She nodded, her smile unwavering. "I'm your wife, but...I knew I have to share you with others. It's been hundred years since someone born into village. Our race needs toddlers, and you've got… vigor to spare." She winked, and he laughed, the tension easing.

"You're full of surprises," he said as his breath went restless, pulling her close. "But right now, you're all I want."

After another intense session, They rose, still flushed and giggling, and made their way to the bathing chamber. A stone basin filled with steaming water awaited, scented with lavender and rose petals. They washed each other, their touches gentle now, the intimacy of the act deepening their bond. Back in bed, they curled together, Elena's head on Rayan's chest, their bodies warm and heavy with exhaustion. Sleep claimed them, limbs entwined, the moonlight their only witness.

Morning light streamed through the curtains, waking them to the awkward realization that they were still naked, the furs barely covering them. Elena's eyes widened, and she yanked the blanket up, her cheeks flaming. "Oh, gods, we've gone crazy yesterday night," she said, blushing remembering the intense night.

Rayan, equally red-faced, drowsy eyes but mourning wood stood majestically on his own. His hand found hers, and the embarrassment gave way to desire. "Want to make it messier?"

Elena's laughter turned to a gasp as he pulled her close, their lips meeting in a kiss that reignited the fire from the night before. The morning unfolded in another round of passion, less clumsy now, their bodies moving with newfound confidence. They lost themselves in each other, the world beyond the chamber fading away.

While panting intensely Elena said, "If we continue like this. I wont be able to walk even after using healing magic. Maybe it's time for you to have my substitutions."

"Substitution?!" Elena just gave a playful wink without answering.
