Chapter 283 - Chapter 286: The Rule Acquired!

Fighting in another world, Bul-Kathos swept into the fleet of Daleks corrupted by the Hell Lords like a violent gale.

A riotous storm surged recklessly through the cosmic void, a place where storms should not exist. But the power of Fury does not fade due to changes in the environment; that is the prerogative of the Nephalem.

The Three Ancients each chose a direction and launched their assaults, beginning to revel in the battle. Bul-Kathos had summoned them for this very purpose: to fight until that Prime Evil could no longer stand by and watch!

The tracks of a Prime Evil are notoriously difficult to lock onto, especially when they deliberately evade all sight. But this was a prime opportunity. To control the demonic army, Azmodan would inevitably appear on the battlefield!

As soon as these not-yet-fully-controlled Demonic Dalek armies collapsed, Azmodan would be exposed!

Arrogance regarding his demonic legions was Azmodan's singular weakness. The Lord of Sin, forever filled with a passion for command and war, never accepted defeat!

"Hah!"

Bul-Kathos let out a roar. Even though his power had slightly waned after aiding Imperius's resurrection, he was still not something these twisted "pepper pots" could withstand. Even if, to ordinary humans, these creatures possessed overwhelming might.

In the blink of an eye, the shockwaves generated by the gale blew away everything in the vicinity. The biting, brutal hurricane acted like a polishing machine, grinding down everything around it.

Fury had the power to turn the impossible into tangible existence—including sound.

The vacuum of the universe was ruthlessly crushed beneath this energy.

Then, Bul-Kathos streaked through the Dalek fleet like a meteor, the wild flames of rage burning fiercely upon his body. The intense heat made the demonized monsters feel threatened, causing them to emit meaningless howls.

Bul-Kathos was bare-chested, wearing only a pair of Wraps of the Waste.

Gripping Oathkeeper and The Remorseless in his hands, the unstoppable Bul-Kathos chiseled straight through the fleet of demonized Daleks.

The sky was filled with the fiery light of exploding battleships, yet it happened in silence. Technological creations could not defy the laws of the universe—unless they had thoroughly mastered and utilized the rules themselves.

The muscles on Bul-Kathos's body swelled, and his dense scars seemed to pulse! Beneath that ferocious frame, a heart of fury beat violently. His long hair, having regained its luster, danced within the shroud of rage, and a wild, unwavering aura began to rise.

Behind him, the planet that seemed to have been locked onto was emitting a brilliant azure glow, like a lighthouse guiding the way across the sea.

Although Bul-Kathos had no clues to support his action at this moment, relying on the intuition of a Nephalem who had traversed countless strange terrains, he chose forward.

As long as he killed until no demons remained in this world, then Azmodan's name would inevitably appear on the death list!

That is how Nephalem have always done things!

The corrupted Daleks frantically unleashed their attacks in Bul-Kathos's direction. However, in their confusion, they only succeeded in liberating their own kind from their metallic confines.

Lasers were originally the Daleks' most powerful weapon, sufficient to destroy any enemy they encountered. This included each other. Daleks unable to activate their shields were, to the people present, hardly better than roadside trash cans.

And so, they lost their metal shells!

Their expanding, octopus-like true forms began to ruthlessly plunder everything visible around them. It was the instinct of biological predation at work; after becoming demons, this instinct was amplified infinitely.

Until finally, they converged into a disgusting, colossal flesh monster waving giant tentacles in the void.

The Daleks had finally transcended the constraints brought by metal, liberated from the cold ruthlessness of genetic modification. No longer just cold hatred and destruction, no longer full of obedience.

The massive flesh monster remaining now was truly a subordinate of a Prime Evil!

An aggregation of negative emotions—a maddeningly powerful demon was born!

Plague began to spread along the monster's body, and a dark green toxic mist started to expand.

Ghom!

This was perhaps the largest Ghom ever created by a Prime Evil. The Dalek had changed its name; it should now be called the King of Gluttony!

Its massive size, and that hideous maw filled with razor-sharp teeth, produced the sound of grinding fangs. Everything around it was shrouded in deadly poison, which began to spread rapidly.

Just looking at this creature's existence induced a visceral nausea. As long as it existed, it would continue to spread a fatal plague.

"Azmodan!"

Bul-Kathos shouted the name of the Lord of Sin, then surged toward the distance with incredible speed. As his fury rose, the energy he had expended began to recover rapidly.

And then, this strange world welcomed the arrival of the King of Barbarians!

The sealed planet was the first to feel this fully unleashed aura; the entire planet began to tremble under the immense pressure!

The newly self-aware King of Gluttony let out a meaningless roar, then extended its tentacles to launch an attack on the departing Bul-Kathos!

"How long do you say it'll take for that thing to be torn to shreds by Bul-Kathos!?"

Madawc roared the question. The Three Ancients had each chosen a direction to charge, and the frantic Daleks blocking them turned to ash in an instant, losing even the qualification to fly toward the King of Gluttony.

For the three Ancients who were recklessly enjoying the battle, this metal-bound demon flesh held little combat power. These guys were merely a warm-up to enjoy the battlefield.

The boundless Dalek fleet was the perfect venting toy for them.

There was no need to worry about Bul-Kathos; Madawc simply enjoyed the pleasure of combat.

"Who the hell knows, but I bet it won't last three breaths!"

Korlic swung the Bastion's Revered in his hand, instantly shredding several blind monsters near him. The legendary weapon, which allowed the damage of the Frenzy skill to spread like a plague, turned Korlic into a veritable meat grinder!

Patches of demons around him were churned into a mist of blood, drifting in the cosmos!

The birth of the King of Gluttony might have been a challenging opponent for them when they were alive, but to Bul-Kathos, it was just an ant blocking the road.

"I bet a single instant. You know Bul-Kathos has been in a foul mood lately. Andariel! I'll f**k you up!"

Cassius smashed a demonized Dalek that got too close with a single punch, blasting the demonized flesh body inside into a blood mist that scattered into the distance.

The immense force punched through the demon, carrying the momentum to bombard a large swathes of monsters behind it. He accompanied this with his unique, curse-laden War Cry to vent his emotions.

Then, Cassius rubbed his beard with a blood-stained palm and aimed for the next enemy.

He had always believed that demon blood could make his beard grow thicker, though there was no basis for this.

At the height of the Barbarians' power, there were many mighty warriors plagued by baldness. Their method of bathing involved draining the blood of a massive demon and bathing in the fluid hot enough to ignite dry wood.

The conclusion was that demon blood had absolutely no effect on baldness; relatively weaker Barbarians would even have all their hair burned off by the high temperature of the blood.

It was somewhat counterproductive.

"What's the wager? Bul-Kathos's secret stash?"

Madawc shouted loudly, and then heard the massive commotion coming from Bul-Kathos's direction.

Because of Cassius's provocation, Andariel, currently imprisoned in the Black Soulstone, let out a maddening scream. She was the only Prime Evil back in the day who had been angry enough to burst a blood vessel.

And right now, every sound she made was transmitted without obstruction into Bul-Kathos's brain.

Thus, the completely frenzied Bul-Kathos delivered a chaotic, lawless kick. Relying solely on the immense strength of his body, he pierced through the body of the King of Gluttony, triggering a massive explosion!

The battle ended in a single breath. Cassius had successfully manipulated the outcome with his unique War Cry technique.

However, having won, he gained nothing. The wager hadn't been set, so what was the use of winning?

"Cassius, without my permission, you are not allowed to curse!"

Bul-Kathos's roar carried over from a distance. The aura of fury instantly cleared away the dense poisonous fog left by the explosion of the Gluttony demon.

His powerful presence surged again with his rage, and from the distance, a trace of Azmodan's aura finally emerged!

Bul-Kathos didn't intend to tell the Ancients what he was about to do, because it might turn the third Immortal King into an existence like the Skeleton King.

But making Cassius act a bit more "civilized"? He could do that easily.

If Cassius wasn't willing to become "civilized," Bul-Kathos would personally make him civilized.

"F**k me, Bul-Kathos, you son of a... You're not the Immortal King yet! Even if you were, you can't restrict my speech!"

Cassius roared back, punching through a massive spaceship. Accompanied by dazzling fireworks, his figure appeared exceptionally tall and imposing.

Madawc laughed heartily and unleashed a magnificent Seismic Slam. The shockwave, fueled by fury, swept through all the demonized Daleks in front of him.

Madawc's Sorrow. This weapon allowed the wielder to stun any entity hit by it for the first time—a rule-based stun.

In Madawc's own hands, the restriction of "the first time" became a joke. As long as there was a ten-second interval, it could take effect again.

His power was the main reason Baal had chosen to retreat back then. A stun every ten seconds was too disgusting; even if it was just for an instant, it was something Baal was unwilling to suffer.

Though the destructive power was dampened, the Seismic Slam shockwave that engulfed millions of Daleks froze the twisted, crazy monsters in place. Their metal shells developed dense spiderweb cracks under the blow.

Daleks unable to activate their shields were far too fragile.

"Cassius, you won, but you won absolutely nothing!"

Madawc whipped up a whirlwind, his entire body rushing into the swarm of demons like a spinning top lined with blades. In an instant, flesh and blood flew.

Whirlwind was Madawc's favorite way of fighting; that slight dizziness made him feel as if he had drunk his fill of strong spirits.

A storm began to brew as Madawc charged into the densest cluster of enemies.

At this moment, Korlic leapt heavily into the air and then landed lightly.

Stepping on the void, his Ground Stomp - Wrenching Smash turned into a massive tidal wave of energy, pulling all the demons in his vicinity toward him.

Gathering the monsters together made him more efficient, and made the great axe he wielded even swifter!

"You won Bul-Kathos's iron fist! Cassius! Did you forget how you wept the last time Bul-Kathos knocked you to the ground!?"

Korlic laughed loudly, mocking Cassius.

In a battle that required no thinking, their passion for combat was thoroughly ignited. The Ancients were laughing maniacally as they harvested demon lives.

"If I punch you in the nose, you'd cry too! If I aimed for the forehead, even Andariel would cry like a magic-user wench!"

Cassius's loud shout caused Andariel to flare up again. The piercing scream made the veins on Bul-Kathos's forehead bulge!

In his extreme rage, blood broke through the constraints of his vessels, trickling down from Bul-Kathos's temple.

Getting hit in the bridge of the nose causes tearing; that's something any humanoid entity capable of crying experiences. The sharp pain is enough to trigger the instinct to weep.

But a heavy blow to the forehead? If it's powerful enough, that intense pain would make the most resolute existence cry from the bottom of their heart.

To bring the skill Ignore Pain to its peak, Cassius had specifically studied how to enjoy extreme pain.

In the end, he attained the ultimate enjoyment through his extreme foul mouth—he was beaten to tears by Bul-Kathos, physically, after he had already died.

"Shut your mouth!"

Bul-Kathos pulled out a legendary two-handed axe and hurled it directly with Weapon Throw - Ricochet.

Every time Cassius mentioned Andariel's name, it sent her into a frenzy. The screams of Andariel at her peak were enough to kill a large group of powerful warriors. Now, it only brought a heart-scratching, liver-tearing headache.

The Lord of Anguish was a professional at delivering pain, even if her power was insufficient.

And that double-bladed axe, glowing like a torch and scattering endless sparks, flew toward Cassius's head like a meteor streaking across the night sky, trailing a long tail of flame.
