Chapter 171 - Berserk

"It's the Stalker—" The crew members on the Ishimura were somewhat surprised. They clearly hadn't expected the Stalker to transform into such a form. Marcus, however, propped his chin with his hand, looking at the hundred-meter-tall Stalker on the screen, which had reached Titan size, and nodded with satisfaction.

The Stalker has three forms. The first form is humanoid, capable of skillfully using various heavy firearms, and can inject the T-Virus and parasites into target organisms with its tentacles to control them. The second form is the bestial form, with all four limbs on the ground, exposed skin, resembling a ferocious beast. Its physical functions are greatly enhanced, allowing it to withstand massive amounts of damage. Once the Stalker sustains irreparable damage, it will devour all surrounding biomass. Finally, under the dual action of the T-Virus and parasites, it coalesces into a massive mountain of flesh. Its exterior is also covered with the hard exoskeleton armor of parasites, making it extremely resilient.

Evidently, this giant Stalker, currently entrenched in the Ork Boyz' garbage ship's compartment, swelled to such an exaggerated size because it devoured a large amount of Tyrant Xenomorph and other Stalker flesh. By accident, it also managed to shut down the Void Shield generator. The reason this great hammer-class battlecruiser suddenly left the other Ork warships to charge alone was most likely because a technician Ork Boyz, who was supposed to be operating the thrusters, had left his post without authorization, waving his weapon and joining this WAAAGH!

At this moment, in the huge compartment, Ork Boyz were continuously pouring in from all directions. The Ork Boyz kept swinging Chainswords, hydraulic pliers, and chainaxes, roaring as they hacked at the massive mountain of flesh in front of them. More Ork Boyz, armed with shootas, rocket launchers, and other ranged weapons, continuously attacked the Stalker, whose body was still expanding. However, most of the Ork Boyz' attacks were blocked by the exoskeleton enhanced by the parasites. "WAAAGH!!!" Clearly, all the Ork Boyz present were in a frenzy. Even Ork Boyz who roam the world looking for a fight rarely get a chance to battle a Titan-class unit like this.

"Detection system failure, we don't know if this Stalker is still under control."

"It doesn't matter, as long as it can cause trouble for the Ork Boyz," Marcus shook his head. "Have the boarding Tyrant Xenomorph and other Stalkers flank the remaining Ork Boyz forces; we need to take this ship."

Under Marcus's command, the newly boarded Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers, coordinating with the incredibly violent giant Stalker in the center of the area—which was constantly waving its thick tentacles—began to flank the orks. The giant Stalker's tentacles continuously swept across the orks in front of it, crushing them into minced meat, and served well as a meat shield, absorbing much of the Ork Boyz' firepower. Moreover, the Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers didn't need to search for the remaining orks on the ship, because of the fierce battle happening here, all the Ork Boyz on the ship were attracted, without exception.

In the center of the battlefield, an Ork Boyz Boss named Grim-Steelteeth was constantly roaring and swinging his weapon, knocking away the Tyrant Xenomorph around him. But under the double flanking, the number of Ork Boyz was rapidly decreasing. Even the grots, who were originally responsible for loading ammunition and feeding squigs as "logistics personnel," had already joined the battlefield. But it was still in vain. Under the efficient killing of the Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers, soon, the remaining orks on the field were almost completely cleared out. Only Grim-Steelteeth remained, still putting up a desperate fight.

"WAAAGH!!!" Grim-Steelteeth's exhaust pipe on his back spewed thick black smoke, and the power of his hydraulic pliers and power klaw became increasingly potent. Almost every swing could tear off at least a large chunk of flesh from a Tyrant Xenomorph. But individual bravery has its limits after all. Under the continuous attacks of the Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers, Grim-Steelteeth finally fell unwillingly.

"Capture the target alive." Under Marcus's command, the Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers did not deliver a fatal blow to the Ork Boyz Boss, but instead used steel chains as thick as arms to tie him up tightly and threw him into a sealed box. Conventional chemical sedatives had almost no effect on orks; physical methods were more effective.

"How should we deal with this giant Stalker?" Everyone looked at Marcus.

"First, conduct tests. If it shows any tendency to attack friendly forces, the Psychic Contract will annihilate it," Marcus said casually. After eliminating all the orks, the giant Stalker entrenched in the ship's compartment quieted down considerably. After a series of tests, the intelligence of this giant Stalker had significantly decreased, and the obedience originally engineered into its genes had disappeared. In other words, Marcus and the others could no longer issue any commands to it. The only good news was that, perhaps due to some lingering memories, this giant Stalker currently would not attack friendly units, at least it wouldn't attack Tyrant Xenomorph and other Stalkers.

"Install a monitoring system to real-time detect the target's situation," Marcus said with interest. Only one Stalker appeared in the Resident Evil world, and according to the original plot, it would eventually be eliminated by Jill and Carlos. However, due to Marcus's existence, that Stalker died at the hands of the Tyrant Xenomorph. Therefore, Marcus was somewhat curious about what this giant Stalker would eventually become.

Immediately after, more small ships flew towards this giant garbage ship. A large number of engineers installed many simple thrusters on it. Although it couldn't make the ship move, it could at least stabilize its posture to prevent it from constantly tumbling in a zero-gravity environment. In addition to thrusters, engineers also installed many weapon platforms on the surface of the garbage ship.

However, due to time constraints, only simple missile launch platforms were installed on the surface of the garbage ship. Of course, inside this giant garbage ship, Marcus also thoughtfully had engineers place more than a dozen nuclear bombs. It would definitely give those Ork Boyz who attempted to board and reclaim the garbage ship a big surprise.

"Engineers and most of the Tyrant Xenomorph and Stalkers are retreating. We are about to enter the orks warship's range." After dealing with this great hammer-class battlecruiser, the other warships of the orks also reached their designated positions. The Ishimura and other armed merchant ships in orbit had mostly entered the range of the orks' cannons.

"Prepare for battle! Hold the line!" Marcus's voice echoed through the communication broadcasts of each ship.
