Chapter 2 - Bab 1: Adam-Hawa

In the distant time before Adam and Eve were created, Heaven was serene and beautiful as always, the breeze from the South bringing everything into it, sanctifying beyond sanctity itself.

Al-Firdaus, The Highest and best Heaven Realm of all the Heavens of Bliss created by The Almighty. Allah SWT once said:

[ "Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds will have the Gardens of Heavens as their residence." ]

At one point, Allah SWT informed the Angels that He would create "Adam" the first human, who would act as a caliph or representative of Allah to prosper The Earth.

When Allah SWT spoke to the Angels, they asked [ "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption and sheds blood, while we exalt You and declare Your purity?" ]

Then Allah said and answered [ "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." ]

The Angels were curious about this choice. As perfect beings created to obediently carry out their roles, their question to God was not meant to challenge, but to gain understanding. God's answer indicated that Adam would be prioritized for a reason.

Afterward, Allah SWT commanded The Angels to take clay from the Earth. The color of this soil varied, red, brown, black, and white; its texture ranged from soft, sandy, fine, and hard; and it varied in attributes such as fertility. This indicated that Adam's descendants were destined to be diverse. [ "Indeed, Allah SWT created Adam from a handful that He took from the entire Earth. So the children of Adam came to be according to their soil, some are red, white, and black, and in between there are thin, thick, dirty, and clean." ]

Allah SWT shaped Adam with His own hands, He created him perfectly and gradually "...He created him from dust; then He said to him 'Be' and he was."

After creating the first human, Allah SWT commanded The Angels to prostrate before Adam. Although prostration is worship reserved only for God, the prostration performed by the Angels was a sign of respect. Furthermore, this gesture of honoring the first human also became a test for Iblis or Satan (Azazel), who, although present, refused to participate — he was arrogant and among the disbelievers. As a free-willed being who had been elevated in rank, he considered himself far superior to Adam because he was created from 'Fire' unlike Adam who was created from Earth. His disobedience was rooted in arrogance and a sense of superiority. He could not accept Adam as a creation worthy of respect. However, as had been mentioned earlier by God to the Angels, there was wisdom in choosing to create Adam and therefore choosing humanity to act as Earth's representative.

Allah SWT was angered by Azazel's arrogance and disobedience. As a result, he was expelled from Paradise and cursed by Allah SWT and promised the torment of Hell. Azazel himself vowed to plunge Adam's descendants into Hell later on, and to become the main enemy of humanities.

One day, Allah SWT knew that Adam felt lonely. Despite living in Heaven, he had no life partner. Then, Allah SWT created "Eve" from Adam's rib, into which He breathed a spirit very gently, reflecting the weak yet gentle nature of women. Eve was created to accompany Adam as his companion and life partner, and they were commanded to live together in peace. In Heaven, Adam and Eve were free to eat and enjoy anything except for one Tree called 'The Qliphoth'. Because that Tree was a test for Adam. Allah SWT Himself informed Adam that Azazel was an enemy and they had to be vigilant.

In time, Azazel, zealously targeting the weaknesses of mankind, tempted Adam and Eve by whispering into their hearts. Claiming to be a sincere advisor, he planted in their minds ideas that would make the Tree of Qliphoth appealing. The thought of the Tree preoccupied Adam and Eve. Forgetting the warning, they succumbed and erred.

"....Your God did not forbid you to approach this Tree except that you would become immortal beings or angels."

Then, he swore in the Name of Allah... "Indeed, I am a sincere advisor to you."

And when they tasted the Fruit of the Tree, their private parts became visible, and they began to attach themselves with the leaves of Heaven. And their God Almighty called out to them'

"Did I not forbid you from that Tree and tell you that Azazel is a clear enemy to you?"

By forgetting God's command, Adam and Eve bore equal responsibility for their mistake. This was also a test for Azazel, who in fact, further increased his disobedience by exploiting mankind through their desires.

After consuming the Fruit of the Tree, Adam and Eve became ashamed and deeply regretted their actions. They acknowledged their mistakes and pleaded for mercy, repented sincerely, and then prayed and asked for forgiveness. This, in turn, led them to receive forgiveness and guidance from Allah SWT.

Subsequently, God prepared Adam and Eve to descend to Earth because, although they received forgiveness, they were no longer granted a place equivalent to Heaven. Adam was also given the task by Allah SWT to be a caliph or leader, namely a "Prophet" guiding his descendants to the right path.

At the same time, Azazel (Satan) took on the pure form of Earth, created from the negative energy of 'Yin.' A metaphysical form, without shape, without substance, purely Earth. He took this form to monitor the development of Adam's descendants. From here, he also earned the title "The Fallen Angel."

Furthermore, Adam was informed by God that he and his descendants would be sent guidance during their time on Earth. Conversely, Azazel, unlike Adam, did not plead for forgiveness and instead requested leniency: an opportunity to mislead and expose the weaknesses of mankind. God facilitated this request but warned that Azazel was powerless against those who have faith.

From here, the journey of Adam and Eve began. Adam lived for millions of years, teaching the 'Children of Adam' about goodness, belief, steadfastness, and faith, also informing them about Azazel or Satan, who is the main enemy of mankind. However, he said:

"..... For those who faith, do not worry about him (Azazel), because surely you will be protected by your God."

The 'Children of Adam' who were born directly from Eve's womb were Cain, Abel, Seth, Iqlima, Labuda, and Ymir. They are the ones who would fill the Earth with pleasant things.
