In the dark ness of the night the mansion of seventh rank scholar was bustling with servant running around cause the fifth daughter in-law went into labour.

Seeing the blood fishing out from the lower body of the madam Zhongli her face paled she immediately leave the room.
The servant although displeased didn't say anything take the bowl of the egg and help the Baiyin to eat.
She was half way through eating when the room door was pushed open once again but the newcomer was actually the midwife.

Brown sugar and egg are the good food to gain strength for the labor she order the maid to bring more warm water.

"Thank you, you were great help today" the melodic voice came out from the mouth of the exhausted women laying on bed.
The midwife at first daze then wave her hand in humble manner "no no what are you talking about, its my job to help you out"
The midwife take out a small small box and place it on the table "there are ten small dose of dried medicine very easy to take".
"You only need to put this dried powder in the warm water every night it will recover all the blood you had lost"
The midwife was rambling about do's and don't for few months then suddenly a sharp scream and something fall on the ground.
Both women startled look toward the source of the noise and saw the maid on the ground covered in water from head to toe.
The water basin has been flip which explain the drenches condition of the maid the midwife become furious.
"Are you insane you scared the light out of me" she scold while picking the child who was half covered in swaddling cloth.
The maid had not covered the child completely, the midwife after covering the child pick it and walk toward the mother.
But in mid walk her face paled the child in her arm almost slipping from her grip, Baiyin heart leap our of her body.

The midwife came back to her senses when the child was snatched out of her hand she too end up screaming on top of her lungs.
She immediately grab her stuff didn't even bother to collect her payment and run out of the courtyard.

Midwife look at the servant who had stop her while another maid had run inside to ask madam lin permission fir her entry.
