Chapter 58 - Bonus Chapter — Cultivation System Explaination (Immortal Realm)

1st Stage — Celestial Immortal (天仙) ⎯ 13th–16th Order ⎯

Core Concept:

The starting realm of true immortals.

All Innate (Xiāntiān) Beings / Sacred Beings are born at this level.

Lifespan = endless (no aging, no natural death).

Power Focus:

Comprehension of Source Law(s):

Early stage → begin understanding one Law of Heaven & Earth.

Peak stage → fully control that Law.

Attaining full mastery of a Source Law = Paragon state of this realm.

Status:

Powerful compared to mortals and cultivators below immortality.

But in front of a Profound Immortal (2nd Stage)?

Celestial Immortal = basically nothing.

Can't even run away or resist.

In Short:

The Celestial Immortal realm is where one first touches true immortality and the Laws of Heaven and Earth.

Endless lifespan.

Beginning of Source Law comprehension.

Weak foundation compared to higher Immortal realms — still easily crushed.

2nd Stage — Profound Immortal (玄仙) ⎯ 17th Order ⎯

Core Concept:

The Profound Realm = Gate to All Wonders (玄门).

Realm without subdivisions → no early/mid/late stages.

Once one comprehends the Profound Realm, one directly becomes a Profound Immortal.

Power Focus:

Time Authority:

Can sense the River of Time in the Grand Primordial Cosmos.

Can briefly enter the River of Time.

By relying on karma + fate between oneself and the enemy, one can:→ Locate the enemy's existence in the River of Time.→ Directly obliterate them from all existence.

Each cultivator's comprehension of the Profound Realm is unique — no two paths are the same.

Difficulty of Breakthrough:

Extremely high barrier, entirely based on comprehension + fortune.

Some achieve it in a single instant of enlightenment.

Others may take hundreds or thousands of Yuanhui Eras and still fail.

Cannot be taught — others' experiences only prevent detours, but the insight must be one's own.

Special Status:

The only stage among the five early Immortal Realms (Celestial → Profound → Golden → Grand Golden → Grand Luo Golden) without subdivisions.

Acts as the transition stage before Golden Immortal.

In Short:

The Profound Immortal realm is mysterious, elusive, and unique.

Marks entry into the profound and timeless laws of the cosmos.

Grants access to time manipulation via the River of Time.

Extremely hard to achieve — many geniuses are blocked here for eternity.

But compared to a Golden Immortal? Still hopeless:

Can't break their defenses.

Can't kill them.

3rd Stage — Golden Immortal (3rd Stage, 18th–21st Order)

The Golden Immortal realm is the foundation of immortality and the cornerstone of the Great Dao. It focuses on forging an indestructible physical body and imprinting Source Laws into it.

Step 1: Five Energies Converge

Golden Immortals cultivate by condensing five innate elemental energies (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth).

These are stored in the five organs (heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, spleen).

Once they cycle endlessly, the body becomes immortal and indestructible.

Two ways to condense the five energies:

Absorb from nature → slow, weak foundation.

Use divine spiritual roots (like Bodhi Tree, Ginseng Fruit, Fusang Tree, etc.) → strong, perfect foundation.

Step 2: Imprinting Laws into the Body

After the foundation is set, Golden Immortals engrave the Source Law(s) they understand into their body.

This makes the body:

Overflow with Law energy in every move.

Gain resistance against that specific Law.

Example: If you control the Law of Wood, your body resists Wood attacks.

If you can imprint multiple Laws, your resistance and strength multiply.

Powers of a Golden ImmortalImmortal, indestructible body:

Even if destroyed, they can return instantly as long as the Source Laws exist.

"Rebirth from a drop of blood" is just a minor side effect, not their true immortality.

If all Source Laws vanish (i.e., the world is destroyed), even Golden Immortals can die. Only those who reach the Dao level can survive that.

Final Goal at This Stage:

Imprint all three thousand Source Laws into the body.

This creates the perfect, flawless, imperishable body — a "True Paragon."

At this level, the body shines with divine light, surrounded by the river of laws, endlessly tempering and strengthening it.

4th Stage ⎯ Grand Golden Immortal (22nd–25th Order)

Core Concept:

The Golden Immortal perfected the body. Now, the Grand Golden Immortal perfects the soul (Primordial Spirit).

At this stage, both body and soul are indestructible. Killing one is almost impossible unless you erase them at the True Spirit level, which only a Grand Luo Golden Immortal can do.

Foundation Requirement:

Golden Immortal required the Five Energy Roots.

Grand Golden Immortal requires refining a strand of Innate Primal Spirit Qi (先天元灵气) to strengthen the Primordial Spirit so it can handle the imprint of Source Laws.

Alternatives & Upgrades:

Other rare innate energies exist:

Innate Qiankun Source Qi (乾坤元气) – root of yin-yang, strengthens the spirit.

Primal Origin Qi (元始之气) – born from the destruction/rebirth of Heaven and Earth, balances and fuses other innate energies.

Fusing these can produce a stronger Innate Great Unity Source Qi, a superior foundation for this realm.

Primordial Spirit & True Primordial Spirit (元神) = purified soul.

True Spirit (真灵) = the deepest essence, recording all existence across worlds.

Only Grand Luo Golden Immortals can touch/destroy the True Spirit. That's why Grand Golden Immortals can't truly die in normal ways.

Cultivation at This Stage:

Imprint the 3,000 Source Laws onto the Primordial Spirit (same as imprinting them onto the body at Golden Immortal).

As long as the Laws exist, the Primordial Spirit exists.

The process is extremely slow and dangerous—too much power risks damaging both body and soul.

Essence, Qi, Spirit (精气神)These three must be perfected:

Essence (精) → Physical Body (Golden Immortal perfected this)

Spirit (神) → Primordial Spirit (Grand Golden Immortal perfects this)

Qi (氣) → Vital Energy (the most difficult; tied to World Source itself)

Together they form the Three Flowers (三花):

Flower of Essence, Flower of Qi, Flower of Spirit.

When all three bloom at their peak (12th Grade each), they unite at the crown → Three Flowers Gather at the Crown (三花聚顶), opening the path to Grand Luo Golden Immortal.

Power & Status:

A perfected Grand Golden Immortal's body and spirit are both flawless.

They are nearly unkillable, immune to most methods short of Grand Luo powers.

Yet, compared to a Grand Luo Golden Immortal, even millions of Grand Golden Immortals are nothing more than ants.

5th Stage — Grand Luo Golden Immortal (大罗金仙) ⎯ 26th–29th Order ⎯

Three Flowers Converge at the Crown → True Spirit Returns to One → Great Dao Comprehension

Core Concept:

Golden Immortal perfected the body.

Grand Golden Immortal perfected the soul (Primordial Spirit).

Now, Grand Luo Golden Immortal unites Essence, Qi, and Spirit into one.

At this stage:

All flaws vanish.

One's self is eternal, existing only in the present moment (not past, not future).

Able to comprehend the Source Great Dao.

The Three Flowers Converge at the Crown (三花聚顶)Essence Flower (Body) → bloomed to Twelfth-Grade.

Spirit Flower (Primordial Spirit) → bloomed to Twelfth-Grade.

Qi Flower (Vital Energy) → also bloomed to Twelfth-Grade.

When all three converge:

True Spirit (真灵) unifies.

Past, present, and future selves merge into one eternal self.

From then on, immortal and flawless.

True Spirit Returns to One:

The True Spirit records all existence (past, future, even how others think of you).

Normally fragmented across time, but at Grand Luo it all returns to one.

This makes you untouchable by the River of Time. Time manipulation means nothing.

You become a being of the eternal present.

Law vs. Great DaoLaws = rules of a specific world (change from world to world).

Weak world → weak laws.

Strong world → strong laws.

If your law comprehension is weaker than a world's, you get suppressed.

If stronger, you crush that world's laws completely.

Source Great Dao = higher than laws, respected across all worlds.

Exists above heaven, earth, and time.

One Great Dao is enough to elevate a world to a Grand Cosmos world.

Breaking Through:

Same method as before: imprint Great Dao(s) onto Body & Spirit.

But instead of Source Laws → Source Great Daos.

Even 1% comprehension of a Great Dao is enough to become a Grand Luo.

Each step in comprehension is astronomically harder than laws.

One Yuanhui (endless era) = only 10% of Space Great Dao, even when aided!

Difference in power:

Grand Golden Immortal = indestructible body & spirit.

Grand Luo = wields Great Dao itself. Grand Golden Immortals are like ants.

Phenomena at Breakthrough:

Body emits immortal golden light, spreads across unimaginable distances.

Flowers bloom at Twelfth-Grade simultaneously.

Golden light contracts into a point = source of Essence, Spirit, and Qi.

That point becomes the root of the Great Dao.

At this stage:

Body & Spirit no longer just immortal — they are vessels of the Great Dao.

Past and future collapse into one eternal moment.

Dao is born within.

Comprehension → Control → TranscendenceComprehension (bearing the Dao, beginner Grand Luo).

Control (Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal, full mastery of a Dao).

Transcendence / Dao Transformation (theorized):

Become the Dao itself.

Or surpass and leave it behind.

True path to ultimate freedom.

In Short:

The Grand Luo Golden Immortal is the realm where:

Essence, Qi, Spirit unite.

True Spirit becomes one.

You step beyond laws into the Source Great Dao.

From then on, time cannot bind you, worlds cannot suppress you, and your existence is eternal.

Even other Grand Golden Immortals are powerless ants before a Grand Luo.

6th Stage — Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal (浑元大罗金仙)⎯ 30th–33rd Order ⎯

Also called the Great Dao Realm (大道境 / 圣人境).

At this level, the cultivator has:Fully comprehended and mastered a Source Great Dao.

Imprinted the Great Dao into both Body & Primordial Spirit.

Truly proven the Dao (得道).

They are absolute top-tier beings across the Heavens, Worlds, and Chaos Sea.Traits of a Primordial Grand Luo Golden ImmortalDao Mastery → Complete control of one Source Great Dao.

Freedom of Worlds → Can leave their world and travel the endless Chaos Sea (the Multiverse).

Supreme Status → Even top Grand Cosmos worlds avoid provoking them.

Balance of Power → At this level, battles are either absolute kills or stalemates. No one acts rashly without certainty.

The Path to Proving the Dao (成圣之路)There are said to be 3,000 Great Daos → infinite ways to enlightenment.

But in the Primordial Era, only three mainstream methods were viable:1. Pangu's Path — Proving Dao with Force (力证大道)Smash through the Dao's restraints by sheer force.

Refine the foundation of the Great Dao (Primordial Violet Qi).

Enter Heavenly Dao and claim your Dao Fruit.

Results: Ultimate freedom, equality with the Dao itself.

Drawback: Too difficult. Even Pangu, with Chaos Supreme Treasures (Green Lotus, Creation Jade Plate, Heaven Splitting Axe), died after splitting Heaven & Earth.

Considered almost impossible for anyone else.

2. Hongjun's Path — Three Corpse Severance (斩三尸证道)Cultivate and then cut away three "corpses" = Good, Evil, and Obsession.

After severing, reintegrate them into one → unity with Primordial Chaos.

Entrust Primordial Spirit into Heavenly Dao, refine the Violet Qi, and prove the Dao.

Results: Stand equal to Heavenly Dao, wield supreme law power.

Drawback: Dangerous trap. For every Great Dao, only one true prover exists — others may just become nourishment for the first. Only Hongjun succeeded; others (like the Three Purities) failed to fully sever.

3. Merit Sanctification (功德成圣)Use great merit, magical power, and fortune to stir the Heavenly Dao's heart.

Refine Violet Qi, entrust Spirit to Heavenly Dao, and gain Sagehood.

Results: Protection of Heavenly Dao, endless stability, eternal sainthood.

Drawback: Become a puppet of the Heavenly Dao. Cannot resist its will. No true freedom. (Like managers under Heaven, not equals.)

Other Alternative PathsSlaughter Dao (杀伐证道) → Rahu's path; doomed, because other powers will destroy you first.

Physical Body Dao (肉身证道) → Witch Clan's path; powerful but limited.

Inner Universe Dao (开天证道) → Create your own universe; requires Sage-level power, otherwise suicide.

Law Dao (法则证道) → Perfect one Great Dao of Law and ascend directly.

No hidden dangers.

Directly recognized by the Great Dao itself.

Example: Old Ancestor Yang Mei proved the Dao with Space Law, becoming the first Zenith Grand Luo in the Primordial Era.

Considered the safest & most reliable path.

The Dao-Proving DebateForce Proving → Ultimate but near impossible.

Three Corpses → Profound but likely a trap (only the originator succeeds).

Merit Sanctification → Stable but enslaved.

Law Dao → Balanced, clean, and possible for independent freedom.

Why Primordial Grand Luo Surpass "Sages"Heavenly Dao Sages (from Merit Sanctification) = bound by Heaven.

Once cut off from Heavenly Dao, their Sage status collapses → they fall back to Grand Luo.

But true Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortals (Law Dao or Force Dao) → their realm is genuine and eternal, not borrowed.

This is why later Sages (like the Six Heavenly Dao Sages) never dared oppose Heaven. Their power was not truly their own.

In Short:

The Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal is a being who has:Proven the Dao.

Achieved full mastery of a Source Great Dao.

Gained eternal existence beyond worlds.

Reached the true Sage realm, unlike borrowed Heavenly Dao Sages.

They walk paths of Force, Severance, Merit, Slaughter, Body, Inner Universe, or Law — each with advantages and fatal flaws. Among them, Law Dao is the most viable for independent freedom.

7th Stage — Dao Transformation (道化境?) ⎯ 34th–36th Order ⎯

This realm is uncertain and half-mythical. It is not confirmed whether it even exists or how one achieves it.

Two Interpretations of Dao TransformationTransform into the Great Dao → Become one with the Dao itself, merging Essence, Qi, and Spirit completely into the Great Dao.

Transform away from the Great Dao → Break free from the Dao's authority, transcending its limits.

As the saying goes: "Only by entering the world can one leave it."

The two meanings are paradoxical but ultimately the same — true transcendence requires both immersion in the Dao and liberation from it.

The Problem:

At Primordial Grand Luo, the cultivator's Essence, Qi, and Spirit (三花聚顶, Twelfth-Grade) bear the Great Dao.

They appear inseparable with the Dao, but in truth, they are not fully integrated.

Analogy:

Three Flowers = Purple Palace (container).

Great Dao = Golden Core (residing inside).

This means the Dao is being carried, but not yet fused into the self.

Suspicion / InsightThe Three Flowers (Essence, Qi, Spirit) are using the Great Dao as nourishment.

The Dao cleanses and strengthens them, while they act as the vessels of the Dao.

This hints that the key to Dao Transformation lies in perfecting the Three Flowers — making them no longer just vessels, but true embodiments of the Dao.

Goal of Dao Transformation:

Either:

Absolute Integration → The Three Flowers become the Dao itself.

Absolute Separation → The cultivator steps beyond Dao, leaving it behind.

Both routes may lead to Transcendence, but no one knows if this is real or achievable.

What's Known:

The realm is theorized but unproven.

Requires Essence, Qi, Spirit to reach a perfect, flawless unity with the Dao.

If achieved, this might mean:

No longer bound by Dao.

Possibly surpassing even the Multiverse's Three Thousand Great Daos.

True freedom beyond existence.

In Short:

The Dao Transformation stage is a mystical, speculative realm.

It questions the relationship between the Three Flowers and the Great Dao.

To advance, one must either become the Dao itself or transcend beyond it.

It is the first hint of a Transcendent path beyond even the Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal.
