Marco's POV
"Hello, boys. Did you miss me?" Vale said in Vincent's voice.
My heart stopped as I watched my daughter's black eyes focus on her friends with cruel amusement.
"Vincent," Dante snarled, moving protectively in front of Vale's possessed body. "Get out of her."
"Oh, I don't think so," my daughter replied, but it wasn't her speaking. "This body suits me perfectly. All that lovely moon magic just waiting to be harvested."
I struggled to my feet despite my injuries. "Let my daughter go."
Vincent, wearing Vale's face, turned to look at me with mock sympathy. "Papa," he said in a sing-song voice. "Your little girl invited me in. Her broken bond created such a convenient doorway."
"You're lying," I said, though fear clawed at my throat.
"Am I?" Vincent asked through Vale's mouth. "She's been fighting shadow creatures in her dreams for hours. Fighting and losing. I simply offered her a way out."
"What kind of way out?" Adrian demanded, his vampire fangs extending.
