"Japan's in the witching hour, sleep tugging hard, but the excitement's just beginning! Few overseas G1s thrill Japan like this—Arc de Triomphe, Breeders' Cup, and now, Dubai World Cup Meeting, Race 9: Dubai World Cup! Japan's sole entry, carrying our dream of an overseas G1 win, faces global titans. Uma Musume are about to appear. Clear skies gave way to clouds—a storm's brewing, a divine omen of chaos!"
Red Sakai's fervent commentary, broadcast in Japan, pulses with energy. The guest analyst, Take, chuckles at his zeal.
"How's the meeting so far, Take-san?" Sakai asks.
"World-class. Seamless stride-to-pitch shifts, elite tactics—worthy of this stage. Our reps here? Pure pride," Take replies.
"Agreed! This generation's called the greatest—TTG, Eternal, Rampage generations. Which stands out, Take-san?"
One standout Uma Musume is common, but an entire generation? Rare. Rudolf, Mr. C.B.—their clashes wove legends. A cohort of equals is a miracle.
"Each has its charm, but I love hearing their names again," Take says.
"Hearing?" Sakai probes.
"Names fade in any field. Only a few endure," Take explains.
Take, a racing legend still breaking records, cherishes moments when the past lives on. Rampage is that spark.
"She draws eyes to history, linking it to now," Take says.
Sakai nods. Rampage's streams feature legends who shun TV but join her. Why?
"They know she carries their will," Take says.
"Their will…" Sakai starts.
"Here they come!" Sakai interrupts. "Uma Musume entering the paddock!"
Rampage, steeped in past legends' lessons, now races globally. Even Take's heart races, wishing he were in Dubai.
"First, New Zealand's white irregular, Armed Lynx! Her radiant smile hides a brutal run. Her trainer says, 'No reason needed—she wins because she's strong.' A physical elite!"
"Yay, first!" Lynx cheers.
"Not losing!" Bunny roars. "America's Vanish Eater Out, sun-bright smile, shark-fin hair, jawbone necklace—impact unmatched!"
"Like Jaws, her late charge bites like a shark," Sakai adds.
"I'll win. That's all," Hyperion states. "UK's Hyperion, versatile across distances, exuding calm confidence."
"Dear humans, your wait's over—game on!" Stahl bellows, hammer aloft. "Germany's Stahl Armekoa hands her trainer the hammer, a paddock ritual missed earlier. Bold confidence!"
"Next, America's mirage in dust, Irene! Japan-born, turf didn't suit, but dirt awoke her. Her explosive late kicks rival Japan's Dust Knight and Sand Express!"
"Let's steal the show… then vanish," Irene whispers.
"What a race…" Lisflouve muses. Arc-en-ciel stays silent.
"France's Lisflouve, a dirt juggernaut, and America's Arc-en-ciel, a turf-and-dirt hero!" Sakai announces.
All are threats—too many to mark. Japan's trio emerges.
"Whoa, huge crowd! Let's do this!" Dyna shouts.
"No overdoing it," Saber warns.
"Japan's Sand Express, Amazing Dyna, February Stakes champ! She ran wide, untouchable, to win!"
"Dust Knight, Lady Saber, Tokyo Grand Prix victor! Her forward-leaning style is her ace—when will she play it?"
Both glance back, fueled by Japan's hopes and joy to race her here.
"Japan's wait is over! Arima Memorial's conqueror, generation's peak, undefeated myth—Mejiro Rampage! Will her legend hold worldwide?"
Rampage flips her coat, igniting roars. "Kept you waiting."
"Massive cheers! A global star, Team Canopus, trained by Minamizaka—absent, but Speed Symboli, Arc de Triomphe veteran, proxies. They're 'Sue-chan' and 'Ran-chan'—unmatched bond!"
"Only she could pull that off," Take laughs.
Gate assignments: 1-1: Armed Lynx 2-2: Irene 3-3: Stahl Armekoa 4-4: Lisflouve 5-5: Vanish Out 6-6: Arc-en-ciel 7-7: Lady Saber 7-8: Hyperion 8-9: Amazing Dyna 8-10: Mejiro Rampage
Gates filled, tension peaks. Lightning cracks the sky.
"The Dubai World Cup—STARTS NOW!"
