Here at the ground of Iron Lotus Dynasty's palace everything was decorated for the ceremony with red lanterns, Lotus flowers, peonies and plum flowers. The musicians with their respective instruments were ready for the ceremony to begin.
"Is everything ready?" Head Hao asked the maid.
"Yes, Head Hao everything is ready now, even musicians are also ready now we are waiting for Emperor, Queen and their new born prince." Maid replied.
"They can come at any moment just be ready." Head Hao instructed.
Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei arrived at the ground where ceremony is going to take place. As soon as the musicians saw Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei they all started to play their instruments and music for Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei's welcome. The drummers were playing the drums with power, the Pipa players playing Pipa gracefully, dizi players were playing dizi elegantly and the flute players were soulful with their flute. Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei were impressed by the welcome and how the musicians welcomed them.
"Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei welcome! Here are your seats, please have a seat." Head Hao welcomed Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei and guided them to their throne set up on a stage. Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei took their throne and sat down comfortably on their throne. An impressed Emperor Shou took a moment, he stood up and raised his hand asking the musicians to stop playing the music. The musicians did exactly that and agreed Emperor Shou's order, after stopping every musician bowed down to Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei to show their respect.
"Thank you! Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. I am genuinely delighted how you all welcomed us. I would like to thank all of you for such a warm welcome." Emperor Shou thanked everyone for giving them such a warm welcome and everyone again bowed down to Emperor Shou.
"Everyone! I am so happy today to see that you all are more happy and excited than me for my Son's one month birth anniversary. Seriously! I am feeling so humbled by it, today after seeing you all doing everything to make this occasion so speacial. I am so thankful for making this occasion speacial." Emperor Shou showed his gratitude to everyone single one who prepared for the ceremony and bowed.
Suddenly Emperor Shou started feel something strange, he furrowed his eyebrows and started to look here and there. It was looking like he was in search of something. Head Hao, Queen Hanmei and everyone there, were confused what Emperor Shou was looking for.
"Emperor Shou! What happened is there anything wrong in the preparations?" Head Hao asked.
"No...! Preparations are perfect Head Hao. I am looking for brother Cheng, where is he? He haven't arrived yet?" Emperor Shou asked Head Hao also looked around for Cheng but he didn't saw him as well.
"Yes! You are right Emperor Shou. I could not also see where Lord Cheng is." Head Hao replied.
"Dear! Brother in law and Sister in law should be here. Their blessings are necessary for our child today." Queen Hanmei said.
"What happened Emperor Shou! Is there something wrong?" Master Zi Chen arrived at the ceremony as well. Everyone greeted Master Zi Chen.
"Master! Brother Cheng has not arrived yet. The ceremony is about to begin." Emperor Shou said.
"Cheng haven't arrived yet!? But saw him in the morning he was with you." Master Zi Chen asked.
"Yes! Master he was with me before... but after that he went back to bring sister in law Xiú and Jún. It has been long time he hasn't arrived yet." Emperor Shou said.
"Emperor Shou! Without Cheng we cannot proceed the ceremony as a uncle of your child he needs to be here." Master Zi Chen.
"Yes, Master! Head Hao please go and see where is brother Cheng." Emperor Shou ordered Head Hao and Head Hao agreed. Head Hao was about to go suddenly he looked up and saw Cheng walking with a head down and sulk in front of his eyes.
"Emperor Shou! Lord Cheng has arrived." Head Hao said with happiness and seeing Cheng arrived musicians also started playing instruments for the welcome of Cheng. Cheng was surprised by the sudden warm welcome for him since he was lost in his own mind.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Cheng thanked everyone for the welcome but he was nervous because he arrived alone not with his wife Xiú and son Jún.
"Lord Cheng where were you? We were all waiting for you." Head Hao asked and Cheng was feeling embarrassed knowing that everyone waited for him.
"I am sorry everyone for making you all wait. I am sorry!" Cheng apologised and bowed down to everyone with embarrassment.
"Brother Cheng you don't have to be sorry. Everything is fine." Emperor Shou tried to make his brother comfortable with situation.
"Brother in law! Where is sister in law Xiú and Jún. They didn't came with you?" Queen Hanmei asked about Xiú and Jún's whereabouts and the problem which Cheng was fearing the most it is now in front of him.
"Oh... Buddha...! Now what would I tell sister in law Hanmei now? That Xiú already refused to come the ceremony. I am dead now...." Cheng said to himself in his mind.
"Yes brother Cheng! Where is sister in law Xiú and Jún? Will they come later?" Emperor Shou asked.
"No brother they will not come!" Cheng replied instantly by mistake and when everyone heard this they all were in shock especially Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei.
"What? Sister in law Xiú and Jún are not coming?" Emperor Shou asked.
"Yes..... I am sorry brother..... but unfortunately Xiú and Jún are not coming." Emperor Shou asked in state of shock while Cheng was trying harder to find a excuse for it.
"Yes brother in law Cheng is there anything wrong with sister in law Xiú or Jún?" Queen Hanmei asked and with that question Cheng finally somehow managed to find an excuse.
"Yes....! Yes.....! You are right sister in law Hanmei. Unfortunately Xiú has fallen sick. She is not well since last night." Cheng replied.
"What happened to sister in law Xiú, brother Cheng?" Emperor Shou asked in concern.
"Um..... brother she is suffering from stomach ache since last night. I think she had eaten something last night in dinner that made her vomit in the morning. Because of this I was late brother Shou." Cheng said.
Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei were not feeling good due to the absence of Xiú and Jún.
"Brother Cheng! If sister in law Xiú could not attend the ceremony today then no worries we will postponed this ceremony." Emperor Shou suggested and Cheng was again numb when heard about postponed.
"If this ceremony is postponed then I am dead for sure! No.... this ceremony has to take place, today... and right now." Cheng said to himself in his mind. He didn't want take any more risks.
"Brother Cheng! What are you thinking?" Emperor Shou asked.
"NO! NO... brother Shou! Please don't postponed the ceremony please! Xiú said to me that the ceremony should not be canceled because of her absence. She had requested not just me but all of us." Cheng lied and after hearing this Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei were not that feeling excited as before but they agreed to continue the celebration torpidly.
"Ok brother Cheng! As you say we will not postponed the celebration." Emperor Shou agreed with a torpid meanwhile Cheng outside he showing that he was also sad but he was very happy from inside after hearing this.
