Chapter 4 - Killing Collapse

The Collapse froze, slowly turning around to look behind him, intently peering into the darkness. Suddenly, the rustling of branches was heard, followed by a metallic sound, as if metal was being dragged across the ground. Five minutes later, a smiling face with glowing green eyes appeared next to the Collapse.

At first, only the eyes were visible in the darkness, then the armored body began to emerge, with bloodstains visible near the collar. Last to come into the Collapse's field of vision was the enormous two-handed sword that the creature was dragging along the ground.

"I found you, my dinner!" The creature spoke with reverence, and for the first time in its existence, the Collapse trembled.

In an instant, a blurred spot flashed before the Collapse, delivering a vertical sword strike with laughter. The Collapse initially wanted to simply block the blow, but when the sword, sparking with golden lightning, pierced one of its extended limbs, it realized that the barrier would not help. The sword passed through the выставленную defense as if it wasn't there.

The Collapse attempted to "shift reality" around itself and move its position to split the creature in two. However, the dense energy surrounding the opponent prevented it from doing so.

"Oh, I don't know what you were trying to do, but I prepared. Are you surprised? Shocked? You probably think you're the ultimate predator… right? You probably aren't used to your magic not working?" the creature said with a grin.

Suddenly, the Collapse felt movement behind its back. One of its limbs bent at a terrifying angle that would have torn it apart in an ordinary being, grabbing something behind it. One of the Collapse's eyes saw the "ghost wolf" furiously trying to bite off its limb. Then the Collapse noticed how it began to weaken after the first bite of the "ghost wolf". It immediately squeezed its limb, thereby destroying the wolf.

The "ghost wolf" had achieved its goal — it had distracted the Collapse's attention, disrupting its concentration. Just for a moment, but it was enough for its opponent to take advantage of the situation.

The Collapse was enveloped in "unholy chains", and a huge green "death knight" with a scythe appeared next to it, almost reaching the Collapse.

The Collapse once again attempted to "shift reality" to avoid the strike, but when reality returned, it was surprised to find the creature right in front of it with the two-handed sword raised. But if only the sword had sparkled with golden lightning last time, now the golden lightning completely covered the creature.

The Collapse wanted to use "reality shift" again, but due to its proximity to the creature, it couldn't do so, as if its power was blocking the Collapse's abilities.

Realizing this, a black blade began to emerge directly from one of the Collapse's deforming limbs, plunging straight into the creature's forearm.

The Collapse calculated that this strike would force the creature to weaken its attack or drop the sword, but no. The creature grinned even more and continued the strike as if nothing had happened.

A squelching sound was heard as the sword began to tear through flesh and break bones, while the Collapse tried to stop the ongoing strike with its limbs. When it succeeded, it immediately attempted to strike the creature directly in the chest to damage its internal organs, but it only managed to hit its leg with an elbow, causing the Collapse's strike to shift to the stomach. As a result, the creature flew several meters forward but immediately performed a somersault, completely ignoring the wound that caused blood to flow обильно under the lower part of its armor.

"How interesting, your attacks completely ignore my armor. Well, then it's time to finish this." After these words, the creature blurred again before the Collapse's eyes and reappeared right in front of its face, but this time it kicked the ground, and the Collapse suddenly found itself in the middle of a raging blizzard.

The creature used "Ice Nova", creating a real snowstorm right in the heart of the jungle, but it didn't stop there. In its free hand, an "Frost Bat" appeared, which immediately flew into the Collapse's chest at such close range, instantly freezing it.

"Hmm, and how will you handle chaos magic?"

The creature jumped back a couple of meters. The sword it held disappeared, and instead, clumps of purple chaos magic began to appear in its palms.

"Well, I won't hold back," and when the clumps of magic became unstable, the creature spoke:

 "Chaos Barrage".

And four clumps of the most unstable magic rushed straight at the Collapse, who couldn't do anything in his position.

Nomat.

"Alright, I've avenged the archosaurs, but let's get back to our situation. What to do now?"
