In this solitude I silently roam.

Caged in death's bed, encased in foam.

Comfort blooms where the tumor swells.

A doctor whispers; the silence tells.

Through dim corridors, shadows still creep.

Aching breaths linger, yet none weep.

The walls, my friends; the stars my spies.

Under the shroud, the echo lies.
