Penny's POV
Andrew pulls away from me and leans against the old swing as he studies me, giving me time to think about his offer.
But right now, my heart feels full. And if I don't say what's on my mind now, I might lose the chance forever and I'm gonna regret it.
"I can't do it, Andrew." I blurt out. "I can't move to Willow Street with them. I love my family, but that house… it's not mine. None of it is mine."
Andrew stays still by the swing, his gaze locked on me as he patiently listen to me.
I look up to meet his gaze, then swallow hard. "I want… I want my own life. And I want it with you."
My knees go weak immediately the words leaves my mouth. My hearts racing wildly too.
Andrew exhales slowly, and takes my hands in his. "Say it again."
My throat tightens. "I want my life with you."
The way his expression subtly changes from worry to a full smile knocks the air from my lungs. His shoulders drop with the tension melting away.
