A ring-shaped dark shockwave burst outward from it, expanding in all directions and blasting everyone back.
Spider-Man shot a web to the ceiling in time and swung through the air like a pendulum. Iron Man's armor defense systems went fully active, barely withstanding the impact. Captain America raised his vibranium shield, protecting Doctor Strange and Kmaal behind him.
Saitama was the only one who didn't get pushed back. His feet sank into the ground as he forcibly endured the shockwave—then he charged the dark creature again. At that moment, Doctor Strange completed the large-scale spell he'd been preparing for a long time.
"Eye Of Agamotto!" Doctor Strange shouted. Countless golden runes appeared out of the void, forming layer upon layer of radiant rings that bound the dark creature within.
The dark creature struggled wildly. Every collision made the rune-rings tremble violently. Saitama rushed in without hesitation, his fists falling like a storm onto the dark creature's body, forcing it to shift its attention away from breaking the seal.
"Cap, now!" Iron Man yelled, firing all his remaining ammunition at once. Captain America hurled his shield with all his might, while Spider-Man wrapped the dark creature's legs with thick webs.
Under everyone's combined effort, the dark creature's struggle gradually weakened. In the end, it was completely wrapped by the golden rings, forming a massive, rune-covered sphere of light that hovered in midair, motionless.
Just as everyone breathed a little easier, the dark breach at the center of the hall suddenly began to spin violently. The dark energy that had been sealed started to surge again, forming a vortex-like passageway.
A powerful suction force poured from the breach. Rubble and debris on the ground were pulled in one after another. Spider-Man nearly lost his grip on his webbing, and Iron Man's thrusters had to run at full power to resist the pull.
"Everyone, be careful—something's wrong with that breach!" Saitama shouted a warning. His feet were planted firmly, but the ground itself began to crack and get dragged toward the breach.
The suction kept intensifying, as if a black hole were forming. The heroes each did what they could to stabilize themselves, but the breach's pull only grew stronger—somehow, even light began to twist and get dragged inward.
"Doc, what is this now?!" Iron Man shouted from inside his suit, his thrusters already blaring overload warnings.
Doctor Strange struggled to maintain his protective spell. "Something on the other side is trying to break through! We have to retreat immediately!"
But even as he spoke, the breach suddenly doubled in size. The closest one—Spider-Man—was instantly yanked toward the dark vortex.
In that critical instant, Spider-Man was torn off the ground by the terrifying suction pouring from the abyssal breach, about to be swallowed whole. The web he fired fluttered uselessly in the air.
But a red figure moved faster than thought—it was Saitama! Almost on instinct, he shot out his right hand, his five fingers clamping down like iron pliers as he precisely grabbed that lifeline web. The immense suction immediately transferred onto him, snapping his cape straight as it whipped violently, the ground beneath his feet cracking inch by inch. Yet his seemingly ordinary body stood like an ancient boulder—he forcibly resisted a pulling force strong enough to tear steel apart.
"Everyone, help! We can't let Spider-Man get sucked in!" Saitama roared, his voice steady and powerful, cutting through the shriek of surging energy.
Almost the moment he finished shouting, a gold-and-red suit of armor came roaring in. Iron Man—Stark—pushed his armor's power output to the limit. His metal hands locked onto Saitama's thick forearm, while the thrusters under his feet spat blazing flames, providing powerful additional leverage.
