He asks his bodyguard to take me inside the house and put me in the room he specified. I started to panic and my whole body started shaking. No matter how hard I try my body betrays me, showing my fear. The bodyguard that was standing beside the psycho (that is what I decided to call him) was the one who came to grab me and forcefully drag me inside the house.
He looks like a professional wrestler with his bulging muscle, tattoos on his arms and has a stern don't mess with me face. I suppose all the bodyguards need to be as fit as him. At first, I resisted but stop when he dug his fingers into my arms until I flinched. After that I try not to make the guy mad and follow him inside the house.
Once I enter the house the bodyguard quickly drags me down the hall past a kitchen and to the last door in the hallway. But not before I had I good look around the house and it's like how Beth described it. The psycho must like to use a particular type of house and décor. As we walk to the room, I realized I'm not going to get as lucky as Beth was as there is a bodyguard this time around. This is very bad news for me as it makes it hard to escape and if they have Beth captured as well, it will make it even harder to escape.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when the guard pushes me inside a room with dim lights, so it took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust. I heard the door slam close with a click sound indicating that the guard just locked the door. I check out the room and it is also like how Beth described it before.
The room was like a torture chamber with a table in the middle of the room and several objects that are hanging on steel wire on top of the table. Scattered around the room are several torture-like devices that I do not want to know what they are used for.
As I'm looking around the room, I heard someone softly calling me "Saph!". I double check the room again and nearly choke out a sob. There in the corner of the room hidden in the dark was Beth and she looks beaten up with her face swollen and bruised here and there. I didn't see her at first because she is huddling in the corner of the room where there was no light as she didn't want to be seen.
I quickly rush to her side. "It really is you" she whispered her voice so soft I had to strain my ears to hear her. "Yes! It's me. My god what did they do to you Beth" my voice cracking in attempt to keep my tears at bay.
She just smiled and said, "I'm okay". I know she is trying not to make me worry so much but it only made me more worried about her. I don't how she can act so calm after what she must have been through. It broke my heart to see her like this, but she needs to be strong right now to get through this. As I thought that I look towards her ankle, and I'm relieved she is still wearing it, as that will help in our rescue.
Then with my trembling hands I took her face in my hands to check how bad her injuries are. A few tears escape my eyes when I assess her face. One of her eyes is swollen, her lips are severely cut open and might need stitches, both her cheeks are also swollen and is a mixture of purple and blue in color, and her nose looks bruised, hopefully is not broken.
I begged her to tell me what happen from the time she was kidnapped till how she got beaten up. She did not want to tell me at first, but I persisted, and she gave up and told me how it all happened.

I did not want to tell Scar about what they put me through, but she was stubborn and would not stop asking me until I told her. I did not have the strength to argue with her, so I gave up told her what happened when I got kidnapped.
#Flash Back#
I took a half day off today so I'm heading home early today. I was walking to my car to drive home and just as I was about to enter the car, I remembered that I forgot something in the office, so I closed the door and locked it before I quickly made my way to my office then to my desk to grab my EarPods that I had forgotten and went back to my car.
I merely put my stuff in the backseat of the car and was about to go to the driver seat when I felt that someone was behind me. Before I could turn around and a hand with some sort of cloth covered my mouth and nose.
I panicked and trash around trying not to breathe in whatever was on the cloth but the person behind me gripped my hand so hard that I gasped. Then I was forced to breathe in the smell from the cloth and I start to feel lightheaded and my last thought before everything went black was that the person behind me put chloroform on the cloth.
When I regain consciousness, I opened my eyes only to groan and close it again because it was too bright. This time I open my eyes slowly then blinking rapidly until I got used to lighting. I looked around the room besides the chair which I am tied to there is a table in the middle of the room and several things hanging from the ceiling. As I look around my face paled as there are several objects that looks like torture devices strewn around the room.
I turn my head in the direction of the door when I heard the clicking of the lock being open and the door slowly opens revealing the one person I dreaded to see since I found out he is a psycho. It was Marcus. He enters the room and when he saw that I was awake he smiles happily which send shivers down my spine.
"I see that you are awake. Good" with an approval look on his face. "I would congratulate you on your escape before, but you only made things worse by escaping me. Now your best friend Miss Evans will also suffer with you" he laughs as he saw my horrified expression. "Yes. Your friend will be here to join you shortly. But first I must check something" he paused and seemed to be talking to someone on his phone.
Then I heard the door opening again but this time it looks like a bodyguard in an all-black attire. He looks like a freaking pro wrestler with his bulging muscles, tattoos that covers his entire arm and that stern expression that says to behave. I started hyperventilating at this point because Marcus must have called this guy for something, and I am pretty sure it is not to get to know each other.
"This here is my bodyguard. He is also good at getting people to talk truthfully. So, if I were you, I would not try to lie and just answer the question truthfully" he explains with a sincere tone, and I almost vomited from his hypocrisy. How I wish I could wipe that smile of his face, but I cannot because he is well guarded this time.
My thoughts stop when I process his words about how the bodyguard would beat me up until I tell the truth. I don't know if he is serious about beating up me up, but I wouldn't put it past him to do something like this knowing his character. I knew I could not lie or not they will beat me till near death.
For the next few hours, they tortured me to answer their questions about Saph. I tried to tell them as little information as I could but it's like the bodyguard knows I am not telling the entire truth, so he hit me with what felt like a belt. I am not going into details because it was too horrible to remember.
After they were finish interrogating me, they untie me from the chair that I was tied to but left me on the floor without treating me for my injuries and left the room locking the door on their way out.
So, I gather all my remaining strength to put myself in sitting position and drag myself all the way to the corner of the room where it was the darkest and tried to tend to my wounds that I can treat. I tried my best to treat my wounds, but it was not the best treatment. But I made do with what I could, as I nearly passed out from the pain of the injuries.
A few minutes later I finish treating my injuries as much as I could and decided to take a short nap as I was exhausted because of today's whole ordeal and then the beating made it worse. So, with that thought my eyesight blurred as I fell unconscious.
