Chapter 5 - ch5. acussion

[3...2...1...]

[Supreme Universe Stream has begun!]

Chat exploded instantly:

[HOLYYY visuals are INSANE!!!]

[Bro... graphics don't matter if story is trash lol]

[Wait… A&A is getting series?? wasn't that just a game??]

[GAME??? what game?? someone explain!!]

[Just shut up and enjoy, this already looks peak]

Countless people across the universe joined, some reminiscing about A&A the "game," others confused and searching desperately for proof, but end up with nothing.

The scene shifted.

A young man stood among hundreds of students. His black hair and eyes blended into the crowd, but his expression was nervous, yet burning with expectation.

It was none other than Summer, a boy from a poor rural village who, after a chain of unexpected events, had gained the chance to enter the Academy.

'This place… it's so huge… and all these people…' Summer thought with nervous yet excited expression.

But before anything, his eyes went towards his side.

A boy with white hair and golden eyes wearing black pants and a white t-shirt covered by black robes was moving suspiciously towards somewhere.

Summer's eyes drifted into the direction he was going and he found a cute girl with orange hair and blue eyes standing there, her expression filled with excitement.

She was wearing a simple white shirt and white pants covered by white robes which were given by the academy.

'That guy looks so suspicious…' He felt that boy had some bad motive and also moved toward the young girl.

Summer was closer to the girl and then he saw the boy's hand moving towards her.

'Wait… what the hell?'

His hand was close to her chest and she was looking toward the crowd, unable to notice the hand approaching from her side.

Summer immediately moved and stopped the guy by grabbing his hand tightly.

"You—what are you doing?" Summer was about to shout, but before anything, the boy, Star shouted loudly.

The whole crowd of students stopped talking and looked toward them.

A circle was soon formed, and in the middle of it stood the three. Of course, not every student was close enough to see, but they could watch those three on the big screen in the stadium, which was showing them.

Star freed his hand from Summer's grip, and only then did Summer get the chance to speak.

"You are trying to touch this girl wrongly, aren't you? Don't you have any shame!"

Summer accused Star of molestation, and the whole crowd started to murmur.

"Isn't that Star Heaven, the noble from the west?"

"Molestation? Man, is this even the time and place for it?"

One girl looked at the boy who said it and snapped, "So, are you saying even molestation has a proper time and place?"

A commoner shouted, "Those nobles are always taking advantage of us commoners!"

Many more words echoed through the crowd of students, and soon the entire stadium was focused on the drama of the three standing down there.

Even more than that, people watching the livestream were making comments:

[So high visuals for fucking drama, I'll rate this opening 4/10]

[Still, that guy is so handsome, I'd love to be in Orange's place]

[Fucking stupid woman!!!]

[Man, I have to see this whole chain of events from Star's POV… it's painful being a Star fan]

Star shouted back with angry expression, "The fuck! Did someone pay you to drown my reputation and make my academy life shit?"

Summer looked at him, sighed, and shook his head repeatedly.

"No shame at all… now you're blaming me for this? Or do you think this girl is like some prostitute you go to every night, huh?"

'So that's it… nobles are all the same,' Summer remembered the noble who ruled his village, who had similar, if not worse, hobbies—and his mood turned even darker.

Star looked straight into his eyes, then suddenly pointed at Ember and spoke loudly, "Oh! Are you saying this girl is a prostitute!!!"

Ember heard his reply. Even though she didn't know the meaning of prostitute, she could tell it was something bad.

So she quickly hid behind Summer, who seemed like a nice guy, and glared at the white-haired boy.

Summer saw Ember hiding behind him. He felt a bit protective and nervous, like he had to protect this girl.

'This guy… I'll make you pay. I don't want to study with some molester.'

"No! I don't mean that. And besides do you think even a prostitute would say she is one?" Summer shouted, but his nerves made him slip up. He realized too late that he had just said something he shouldn't.

Even Ember looked at him weirdly, as if he had just nodded that she could be one.

Star smirked and replied, "Yes. If a prostitute doesn't say she's a prostitute, how will she earn money?"

And that was it.

The whole system chat broke out:

[Damn… makes sense]

[Bruh… who's the MC, the white-haired guy or the black-haired guy?]

[Fucking logic! I didn't expect that from this]

[Cringe dilogue, was writer little sick when writing this?]

Even the whole crowd of students in the stadium started debating whether what Star said was right or wrong.

"Honestly… I kinda agree."

"Wait… is he insulting us, women?"

"I don't know, honestly, but I like his logic."

"Hold on—aren't we diverting from the main issue? Isn't this about him trying to molest the girl?"

But most people, after thinking about it, ended up nodding in agreement with Star. Even Ember slowly nodded, like what Star said somehow made sense.

'Yeah… makes sense. If someone didn't say what they do, how would they get work from it? …But wait, can anyone explain what's a prostitute?' Ember thought, still confused.

Summer, growing more and more nervous, shouted, "No! I mean—yes—I… hell, we're going somewhere else from the real point!"

Summer took a deep breath and shouted,

"I'm saying—don't you have a mother or sister? How can you try something like this with any woman! What if someone was molesting your mother?!"

Star's expression didn't chang as he replied with a tired sigh,

"I didn't."

"You did!" Summer snapped back instantly.

"I didn't do it," Star said calmly, then smirked, "but if you like it so much… we can do it right now and check if I really tried."
