"It may seem like it won't work but if she keeps at it, he'll eventually grow tired of her resistance. That's what I believe."
Duck-Hwan concluded, and for a moment, I paused, thinking deeply about his words and how they felt accurate. I wondered how 'he' could know so much.
"You... You seem very knowledgeable about this." I said and he blinked twice before chuckling lightly.
The heaviness and unfamiliarity I felt from his words a moment ago completely disappeared and he softened, like the guy I know quite well.
"Well, I'm a guy too, Ha-Joon-ssi. I know how guys like that think." He smiled, but that smile felt crooked.
And for some reason, that crooked smile lingered in my mind, making me more uneasy than reassured.
I don't know if he noticed but... He said he knows how guys like that think cause he's a guy... Does that mean he has such a tendency very well? If he's that familiar with it then he must have been like that at some point.
