➛ Summary

Bloody Sword Servant tells the story of a man named Kaoru Aven, who inherits a legendary sword called Sephiroth after his father is killed by a secret organization that was after the blade.

Aven's life changes the moment he decides to become a Bounder. Despite his goofy and money-hungry personality, the story keeps a lighthearted tone that makes it fun to follow.

After receiving the sword, Aven joins an order called the Sun God Society, an organization led by his father's old friend, Hitoshi Ranmaru. There, he trains, grows stronger alongside his companions, and sets out to avenge his father's death.

➛ General Information

Bounder

A Bounder is someone who can use powers through Resonance. They are divided into two types:

• Bounder Pureblood

These are born in the underworld, known as Eidenharth. When they ascend to the human world, their powers reset through a process called Reblood, starting again from the first ascension.

• Bounder Halfblood

Ordinary humans who become Bounders after drinking the blood of a Pureblood.

Eidenharth

The underworld, the birthplace of all Pureblood Bounders. To ascend to Earth, Purebloods must undergo a difficult divine ritual.

Bounder Hunter Association

A global government-backed organization responsible for regulating, judging, and capturing Bounders—both Pureblood and Halfblood. They assign grades from 1 to 10 and work to keep the existence of Bounders hidden from normal society.

Order

Groups working under the Bounder Hunter Association. They not only hunt dangerous Bounders but also monsters from Eidenharth that reach Earth.

Examples: Sun God Society, God Spear Visionary.

Secret Order

Unlike regular orders, these are evil groups that hunt and exploit Bounders for their Resonance abilities.

Examples: Child of God, Sinners.

Resonance

The source of power possessed by every Bounder. Resonance follows a complex hierarchy and rules, explained further in the Power System section.

➛ Common Terminology

Pillar

The path you choose when gaining Resonance powers.

Ascension

The process of increasing strength within your chosen Pillar, from Ascension 0 up to Ascension 15.

Sephiroth

The legendary sword designed to seal demonic blades. It can transform into different weapons.

Reblood

The reset phenomenon that happens when Purebloods ascend to Earth, forcing them to start their growth from the beginning.

The Flekaroth Realm

A dimension tied to the sword Sephiroth.

➛ Power System

When a human drinks the blood of a Pureblood, two outcomes are possible:

1. They become a monster.

2. They succeed, gaining entry to the Void Realm, where they can choose a Pillar.

Purebloods also go through this process after undergoing Reblood.

The Twelve Pillars:

𖤓 Sun

☾ Moon

🪄 Magician

𖥞 Wheel

☆ Star

🗼 Tower

♛ Empress

♚ Emperor

🌍 World

⚖️ Judgment

🃏 Joker

☠︎︎ Death

Once a Pillar is chosen, a Bounder can Awaken by fulfilling certain conditions, allowing them to progress through Ascension.

Bounders can also combine two Pillars to create new evolutions.

Examples of First Ascension Combinations:

Tower + Magician = Equinox

Wheel + Sun = Golden Eyes

Sun + Moon = Eclipse

Examples of Higher Ascension Combinations:

Holy Knight Emperor + Trickster = BlackCluster

Witch of Libera + The Judge = The Punisher

BlackCluster + The Punisher = Mystic Crusader

Because these combinations are limitless, the power system is extremely complex and nearly without boundaries.
