Renny tilted his head slightly. "Alright. Well, rather than paying in contract points, how about you do something else for me instead?"
Myla blinked, then blushed faintly. "Something else?" she echoed, her tone dipping, half curious, half shy, as if she'd already imagined what he might mean.
Renny gave her a flat look. "Not that kind of something," he said dryly.
Her face went redder. "Right... of course not! I didn't mean..." She cleared her throat quickly, clutching her books a little tighter. "So, what is it then?"
"There's a Grade Five demon named Asmeryn Damaruk," Renny said evenly. "He's a repeat. Should be Grade Six by now, but apparently couldn't make the jump."
Myla's brows rose, and then her lips curved. "Asmeryn? Oh, I know him. I've seen him during family meetings." She paused, a sly smile forming. "We're… relatives, in a way."
"Right," Renny said. "Then you'll find this easy. I just need you to observe him."
