"Just make sure it's done quietly." Lucas's unease was still there even then, his body tensing, his palms tightening in his pocket. Marcus might've have been a meat head but he was strong at the very least, not to mention resilient, since he feels to their supposed target, Lucas wasn't so sure he could take on the guy even if he prepped for the occasion.
It was obvious he still had lots of misgivings about this, But before he could argue, Machete leaned closer.
" If you do this perfectly, then I'll give you a bonus. How does 100 mid-grade mana stones sound."
" 100 mid-grade?! Are you sure boss?" Lucas's pupils dilated in excitement.
" Of course, if not that we're currently tight on funds I would add some more, after all, Marcus's life was worth more than that!"
