Chapter 14 - 14

Coulson handed over the latest analysis data. This was a report that was compiled from comprehensive analysis by various departments of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This is a report specifically about Donnie.

SHIELD has never relaxed its surveillance on Downey. It can be said that it is too easy for SHIELD, an agency with enormous power and authorized by the Security Council, to monitor someone living in a modern city.

"How is he doing now?"

The person questioning him was Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., who held the highest authority in the agency. He was dressed in black, tall and stern, giving off a strong sense of oppression. One of his eyes seemed to be blind, covered with an eye patch.

Nick Fury is concerned about Donnie's situation.

"According to the surveillance, he was taken away by the Red Devil and should be heading to the Brotherhood headquarters." Coulson said, flipping open the document in his hand and handing it to Fury.

Fury frowned, a little displeased. This was one of the scenes he least wanted to see.

The best outcome, of course, is to be recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D., become a member of the organization, accept his appointments and assignments, and serve S.H.I.E.L.D.

If Downey eventually joins the Brotherhood, it will be a big trouble. Given Magneto's nature of stirring up trouble, it is impossible for him not to cause some trouble.

"Can you find a way to assassinate him? You shouldn't have saved him in the first place just to do Professor X a favor, and you shouldn't have let him live."

Fury flipped through the file, which detailed everything about Donnie. The level of detail was enough to surprise anyone, even down to what Donnie ate every day.

Professor X was initially unable to make an appearance, so he contacted S.H.I.E.L.D. mentally, hoping they would help save Downey. Fury was also attracted by this Level 4 mutant. He had long wanted a trump card that could curb the extremes of mutantkind, and this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so he agreed.

The result is that the situation becomes too big to be eliminated.

Coulson looked a little serious, which was rare in this place where he always had a gentle face. Every time he looked like this, it meant something big was happening.

"Based on the psychological model we've built specifically for him, it's unlikely he'd genuinely join the Brotherhood," Coulson said. "He's a man with a strong sense of self-awareness, and he's not easily persuaded, especially after the death of his parents. He can even be a bit stubborn at times. It's nearly impossible to convince someone like him with just a few words. Professor X's psychic power might be enough to influence him, but it's impossible for Magneto. In a way, Donnie joining the Brotherhood is actually a good thing."

Of course, SHIELD did not give up on Downey's idea. An awakened mutant would be a level 4 mutant, which would be comparable to a humanoid self-propelled nuclear weapons arsenal and a killer weapon to suppress all disobedience. A global organization like SHIELD really needs a super fighter.

Over the years, S.H.I.E.L.D. has faced off against Magneto more than once. Without him, the odds were barely even even. With him, even a crushing defeat was considered the least of their problems. At their worst, they were completely wiped out, their entire team wiped out.

The opponent is simply a bug, there is no solution.

Fury listened quietly, flipping through the papers in his hand.

Coulson continued, "Donnie is someone you can have a serious conversation with. Once you get things started, everything becomes easier to talk about. So during our recent interactions, we've never concealed our intention to recruit him. At least he doesn't mind it."

"It's too late to undo what's done. Well, keep a close eye on him and look for a chance to win him over." Fury stopped and looked carefully at a certain page, which was an analysis of Downey's abilities.

The contents of this page were shocking and terrifying. Even though Fury had seen a lot of storms, he still felt a little scalp-tingling.

The report believes that Downey's ability is "creation", creation in the true sense!

"This is amazing." Coulson said. He led people to look through all the past data of S.H.I.E.L.D. on the abilities of mutants, and was shocked to find that this ability to create things was unique.

It even has some miraculous meaning.

"He can transform objects like cars and cell phones into robots, assembling them at will and completely changing the atomic structure. So, we assume that objects like computers, tanks, and aircraft carriers can also be modified by him. In the information age, he's a god to some extent, capable of transforming most of humanity's technological products. If he's powerful enough, he could mobilize a massive army at any time. Even his robots have facial features and limbs. It's like..."

"Creator." Fury's expression was heavy.

According to the report analysis, they conducted a detailed inspection of the van during the two days that Downey was in a coma. The van had unique frequency fluctuations that matched Downey's body, and there was also a residual energy that S.H.I.E.L.D. has not been able to analyze to this day.

Afterwards, SHIELD investigated the manufacturer of the van, thoroughly investigating it. They also began tracking the cars sold by this oriental company in the United States in recent years, but found nothing unusual.

"It's pointless to terminate the investigation into this company," Fury said, his single eye gleaming.

Creator is just an adjective. Donnie cannot create real life forms now. When he succeeds in giving souls, he will be truly worthy of the title of Creator. He has single-handedly created a race of silicon-based life.

Fury became increasingly uneasy, feeling that the research on the Cosmic Cube needed to be accelerated. The world was becoming more and more troublesome and bizarre.

Some time ago, S.H.I.E.L.D. was tracking down a mysterious woman, but lost her. She also appears to be a master hacker who has erased some of her traces. According to their investigation, it seems this young, beautiful woman lived for over a hundred years and appeared on the battlefields of World War I...

The Brotherhood's headquarters is an island in the sea.

The island was completely changed. Magneto transported a huge amount of metal and rebuilt it into a huge steel city with his supreme power!

The entire large island is a veritable steel city!

Although Donny was mentally prepared, he still felt dizzy when he actually saw the island. Magneto used this supernatural power to brazenly spread it to the world, making the world tremble.

The most terrible thing is that this Iron City is legal... legal... legal...

During World War II, Magneto looted a large amount of gold from the Nazis and purchased the ownership of this island from the United Nations after the war...

All countries are now at a loss as to what to do and are simply going crazy. They have to watch Lao Wan carelessly build infrastructure and feel as uncomfortable as if they had eaten shit.

They wanted to nuke this place, but they didn't dare to do it. Even if they did, it would be useless. They could only watch with wide eyes in frustration.
