After resting a little bit, robert and jones fully awoken up, ready to figure out their placing in the labyrinth!!
Robert using a piece of cloth to tie his leg, and prevent any more injuries!
Robert: "Hey! Kid after all of this! Why don't you become my partner!"
Jones chuckled; "Me!? As your partner?"
Robert: "Yes! YES! you!! As my partner!"
Jones eyes shined with a sense of purpose, he felt needed, respected and important for once in his life!
Hearing those exact words, small tears come down jones face, just to be quickly swept by him. Jones with a slight visible smile on his face grabs robert by the shoulder, provide support due one of his legs being immobile.
They walk side by side, looking around here and there!
The room that they had landed was filled with multiple rooms, blood stains, and deteriorating smell.
It was so bad, at one point, they had to cover their mouths and noses!
One by one, they checked for any more entrances, as they had lost track of where they could be in the building!
Robert heavily alerted about the surroundings hears an odd and similar voice from one of the rooms!
Robert signals jones to keep his guard up and to act quietly. They both poked their heads in the room, just enough for them to take a look in it. There lying a dead body being somewhat fasted on, or as they thought!
The body twitched, its fingers start becoming more lively, its head shook, its body beginning to breath, taking slight breaths through his mouth.
Seeing this veiw, robert and jones become horrified, dejected from the logical!
The zombie pulled its mouth out, his teeth's bloody and gruesome, sending shivers down jone's and Robert's spines.
Slightly without a warning, they zombies head tends to rotate backwards creaking slowly and slowly.
Robert and jones duck, hiding from its sight!
The zombies growls as it reaches forward!
Jones murmuring; "What do—do we do?"
Robert shushes him and advises him to stay undetected.
Zombies:ÆÆ (Shrieking noise)
The zombie takes its little steps, one by one, confused. Robert and jones trying to stay calm.
Jones looking horrified and scared!
Robert thinks as hard as he could.
"Think! robert THINK!", Robert to himself.
"Thinkk!!!"
(Gulps)
He looks at the face of jones, and gives last ditch effort!
Robert takes out one of his shoes, while the zombie is upcoming and smashes it in its face!!
Robert (loud): "Let's go!!! Hurry!"
Jones quickly runs with robert as fast as he could!!
Zombie: ÆÆÆ!!
The zombie chases them swiftly, running up to them.
Pounding the two of them down!
"Agh!"
The zombie growls, howls at them, it's mouth drooling, it's teeth sharper than a knife!
The zombie swings its head at jones in full speed!!
Bang!!!
The zombie's head explodes, its parts spewing out— blood everywhere, robert and jones covered in blood!
Jones with a face of disgust; "Ughh!!"
(Coughs)
"What the heck!!", says robert.
(Reloads gun)
Robert and jones look back!
There standing menacingly, The officer with a shotgun in his hands!
He steps slowly out of the fog!
Robert squinting his eyes, sees a familiar face!
He calls out loud and clear; "Officer!?"
Jones looks at robert and asks him; "D—Do you know him!?"
Robert: "Yes.. I–I do!"
"But.. but in thoughts only the army went in?"
The officer sits down putting his gun down, he's begins to unveil how he got there!
Officer in a shattered voice; "I–I.. I volunteered to go!"
Robert: "Are- are you okay?"
Officer: "Yeah.. but ev.. every one has died!"
"Eve–every one!"
He clenches his fists in regret, in anger, terrified of this labyrinth!
Robert places his hand on his shoulder as an act of comfort.
"I'm glad you're out of it!", says robert.
(Sigh)
The officer stands up; "Come I know how to get out of here!"
Those words left robert and jones confused but they still decided to follow!
Robert: "How did you survive?"
Officer: "Luck I guess!"
(Sighs)
Robert raises questions upon questions, demanding to know how he's been safe all this time, and to where they are headed!
Robert: "How did you get by all of the other zombies?"
"And where are we going!?"
The officer gives a slient glare at them, just to clarify the fact that he survived due to luck being on his side, and that all the fuss you are making is wrong.
Hearing this jones not knowing anything, and acting first says; "You're probably right! Look at me! I survived because of you Sir.Robert".
Robert quiets for a second or two after hearing jones, walking in the fog seemless straight ahead, not have a clear veiw of their surroundings!
"Here!", says the officer in a cold tone!
The fog mysteriously clearing its path, up ahead a door opens, lit open beaming in light.
Jones stunned, hesitant at first, the hastily running to the door!
And stopping just that second, to turn around; "Let's go Robert! Remember! What you promised me!"
Robert enmeshed in thoughts, having a bad feeling, later to brush it off as a fake feeling, moving forward–stepping up, thinking if the nightmare really ended?
Then, jones visage shocked, jolted in his boots, aghasted from pure fear.
Blood drips, robert eyes down, shaken and broken tone, his vision blurry. A claw bigger than the size of an animal pierced through his chest, the pain kicking in.
In an instant, everything changed!
The officer grabs his face, extracting his true self, its the entity Robert encountered before!
It laughs, his laugh menacing, he says while raising robert up; "You just couldn't end me there couldn't you? Ehh.. Robert?"
"Si–si... Sir!?, jones in disgust, and disbelief. His eyes opened, his heart panicking.
Robert saddened looks up, blood coming out of his lips, throwing up blood, gives a fake smile to jones and says shivering; "G.. g.. goo".
Jones tears up; "NO... NOOO!"
The entity snatches his arm out, drops robert!
Jones wretched, down in the mouth, says; "Ro.. Robert!?"
Jones desperately wanting a response, he's crying like a child, not even moving, his eyes dark.
The entity laughs at the boy, telling him that its useless, and that he is next!
The entity moves, one step at a time, while the door is open!
Jones with his tearful eyes glances back, seeing door leading downwards, out of the building, but not at ground level, he is upwards, therefore its dangerous for him to jump!
Jones looks back, entity standing upclose, jones looks at robert, lying down, his breathing is still up, he is alive, his wrinkled lips narrates his last words— jones clenching his fists, not even bothered by the entity close to him!
Jones reads roberts lips.
His lips narrating slowly; "T.. te.. tell– m.. m. m. My—Tale!".
His eyes die out, but he still struggled to get a sentence through, tho not spoken, but heard in jones heart, and soul, ordering him! A command, a wish!?
"Tell my Tale!!"
