Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Hogwarts Without the Saviour

Today was the second day of Harry Potter's disappearance.

The six members of Utopia gathered together, eyeing each other warily. Terry spoke first.

"Let's say it together to verify we're all here for the same reason."

Sterling nodded. The others stared intently at Terry's three raised fingers.

"Three, two, one..."

"Harry Potter's been forgotten."

"Even Seamus forgot about Harry Potter, and we're roommates!"

"I saw the Quidditch team's Seeker had become someone else..."

"When I checked magical history, I found the person who defeated You-Know-Who had become Lily Potter. 'She heroically perished together with You-Know-Who; sadly, her husband and son died in that battle.' That's what the history books say now!"

"This morning's Daily Prophet headline was 'Minister Fudge personally visits Potter house to pay respects to James Potter, Harry Potter, and the great saviour Lily Potter, commemorating their great contribution to peace'... It wasn't like this before, right?"

"Everyone without strong bonds to Harry Potter's lost memories related to him. I've checked Hagrid. He still remembers Harry, but hasn't discovered that Harry's been forgotten by most people yet."

Different words, same terrifying meaning.

Ron's body went limp. If Neville hadn't caught him in time, he would've slid off his chair completely.

"I... I thought something was wrong with Seamus... But how could this happen? Is it really because Harry and I went night roaming? I didn't stop Harry..."

His voice cracked on the last words.

"No, this isn't your fault." Sterling's tone was firm. "Neither I nor Professor Dumbledore saw any problems with that mirror. Whether it's the cause is still unknown. Hermione, have you checked other magical history books?"

Sterling looked gravely at Hermione. Terry unconsciously rubbed his knuckles.

Except for Ron, currently drowning in self-blame, even Neville realised what Hermione and Padma had described was the most terrifying part. Not only people's memories, but historical records had changed too?

"Yes, I've examined three different magical history books. Though descriptions vary, they all say the saviour was Lily Potter, while Harry became completely... background. Died that night." Hermione's voice grew quieter. "To make sure it wasn't just my books, I checked four other people's. Same records."

Another forgetting. Different from Andrew's type.

Sterling now knew three types of forgetting.

First, Andrew's forgetting only targeted Sterling alone. Incredibly strong. Sterling still needed to continuously activate Scholar of Stars to ensure he wouldn't forget. But it had no effect on others and didn't involve physical changes.

Second, Voldemort's forgetting supposedly targeted everyone. According to Dumbledore's description, it would fabricate memories to replace those of friends and family related to people he killed but wouldn't modify objects left in the world. Just reduce their presence.

Third, Harry's forgetting... This was closest to Voldemort's type but only erased memories of those without close connections to Harry. Besides memories, it also modified physical matter. A more thorough forgetting.

"Sterling..." Neville's voice was barely a whisper. "Harry isn't dead, right?"

Ron glared at him.

"Harry's definitely fine! That's Dumbledore. He'll definitely solve this!"

"Harry's body certainly hasn't been harmed. Dumbledore will absolutely protect him well."

Sterling didn't tell Ron that Harry's body was with Snape. Though he knew Snape didn't actually hate Harry as much as he pretended, he couldn't tell others this.

If Ron knew, given his impression of Snape, he'd probably immediately propose, "Defeat the old bat, save the saviour." And it would probably have high support.

Wait. Harry Potter's body?

Sterling suddenly had an idea. He rubbed his temples, opened magical vision, and looked at Ron. His threads no longer glowed with golden light. Not only that, but an originally golden thread had also faded to bronze.

That was the golden thread Harry Potter had distributed to every student at the start of term.

"I have something I must clarify now." Sterling shot to his feet. "Terry, you take over the meeting. If things go smoothly, I might understand the cause of Harry's forgetting."

Sterling immediately transferred responsibility, then rushed out.

His target was clear: Snape's office.

At this moment, Snape was browsing magical history. He habitually subscribed to the Daily Prophet. Seeing the headline, he immediately realised something was wrong. After ensuring Harry's vital signs were normal, he quickly began researching this phenomenon.

Then he immediately found "Saviour Lily Potter".

This title delighted him. Just the "Saviour Lily" part. The annoying "Potter" surname should still disappear as far away as possible.

Moreover, this was actually the real truth.

It was Lily's final "love" curse that took Voldemort's life. By any measure, she should be the one praised as saviour.

Snape carefully cut out "Saviour Lily" and put it in his drawer.

"If all this were true... But I still can't ignore her child. Even though half his blood is the dirtiest, I must protect him for the other half's pure blood..."

Sighing, Snape lit a fire under his cauldron.

This exceeded his handling capacity. He was a master of Occlumency, but this wasn't mass Legilimency. Snape felt it was more like large-scale Obliviation.

In any case, this would ultimately need Dumbledore to solve. The only thing he could and must do was maintain Harry's body, preventing its collapse.

This wasn't easy... A wizard's body was several times more fragile than Muggles' after losing magic power. In Harry's current state, his magic had mysteriously vanished completely, forcing Snape to treat him like an infant.

Potions maintaining his normal bodily metabolism also had to be specially brewed to levels his body could handle...

Utterly troublesome. If not to see those green eyes again, Snape would never be so careful.

As Snape brewed potions with a dark expression, knocking came from the door.

"Professor Snape, I think I know what might've caused Harry's condition. Please let me see Harry's body."

If Snape hadn't recognised Sterling's voice, he absolutely wouldn't let anyone enter his current office. But Dumbledore had emphasised Sterling's special importance, so...

A figure rushed in like wind, expertly darting into Snape's office's inner room.

That momentum made Snape almost think Sterling had ridden in on a broomstick. Even if wizards' physical abilities couldn't be confused with Muggles', that was more reflected in vigorous vitality when magic flowed, not this kind of speed capability.

"Sterling Page! Are you thinking of transferring to Gryffindor? Have your composure and manners finally abandoned you due to your desecration of potions?"

Snape angrily entered the inner room, immediately seeing Sterling gazing up at Harry Potter floating in a giant potion bottle.

Sterling raised his head, his originally pale blue eyes gradually tinted with light pink.

"As expected... Not a single thread remains on Harry's body."

Looking at the completely blank Harry, Sterling said softly.
