CHAPTER ONE - (the unexpected collision)
Have you ever walked in the dark with no light on? Searching for things as if they were really there? I've died a thousand silent deaths trying so hard to discover what was never meant to be found.
I am Ella, and this is the world I find myself in.
Beep! Beep!
Ugh, not again… Can't I have just a moment to myself? 😫
"Oh my goodness! It's 9:00 already!" I gasped.
I'm late for class. My teacher's going to scold me again.
"Mummy! Why didn't you wake me up?" I shouted.
"I did," she replied calmly. "You refused, so I had no choice."
I quickly threw on my school uniform, slipped into my favorite dark loafers, and clipped on my gold earrings. A quick spray of my strawberry-scented perfume now I was ready.
"Mr. Adams, please take me to school. I'm so late already!"
As I rushed toward class, bam!
"Ouch!" I cried.
"Why weren't you watching where you were going?" I snapped, rubbing my forehead.
I looked up, he was wearing a dark jacket, black trousers, white sneakers, and dark shades. His skin was smooth and dark, his presence mysterious.
And that… was the beginning.
