Chapter 15 - arrival

Ji Wuchang, ranked sixth on the Evil Path Heaven Ranking, despite having numerous enemies, continues to stubbornly entangle himself between various sects, unable to extricate himself. No sect dares to provoke him easily, for this madman, once enraged, can shake the entire cultivation world, and as a Grand Master, his terrifying strength leaves others helpless.

Lu Benben's gaze flicked toward He Shidi, and he silently thought, although he could use the Asura Demon Art to avoid Wang Nianyao's deadly strike, lunatics like Ji Wuchang were beyond his ability to deal with. If he truly became enemies with Ji Wuchang, with his temperament and methods, Lu Benben would likely be tortured to death. The odds of victory were almost zero. Ji Wuchang was like a massive boulder, relentlessly chasing until you were exhausted.

Lu Benben understood that the gap between him and Ji Wuchang wasn't just in cultivation, but more in how the latter could slowly wear him down with incredibly terrifying methods. While he might mock Wang Nianyao of the Yaochi Sword Palace, he didn't dare underestimate real threats. Especially since he had yet to confirm whether He Shidi truly had any unresolved connection to Ji Wuchang. After all, only true disciples or extremely close individuals could possess a Black Blood God Needle from Ji Wuchang.

"If I kill this kid, Ji Wuchang will surely find out," Lu Benben thought warily, his eyes scanning He Shidi, a flicker of hesitation in his heart.

At this moment, He Shidi seized the opportunity to launch an attack, the Black Blood God Needle tracing a strange trajectory through the air as it shot directly toward Lu Benben. Faced with this mid-grade spiritual weapon's attack, Lu Benben immediately released his spiritual wheel, forming a powerful protective layer that bounced the Black Blood God Needle off.

However, the spiritual wheel did not completely block the needle's force. A small crack formed on the surface of the wheel, and the spiritual power was gradually depleted. Yet, with each strike, the Black Blood God Needle's power remained unchanged. At this point, Lu Benben's expression grew more solemn, no longer daring to be careless.

It was rumored that the 999 Black Blood God Needles personally crafted by Ji Wuchang each possessed the power comparable to a spiritual weapon. When they acted in concert, they were terrifying weapons even Grand Masters could hardly defend against. Lu Benben naturally dared not let this needle get too close, especially with his injuries still unhealed, putting him at a disadvantage.

"Indeed, a disciple of Ji Wuchang," Lu Benben thought to himself, his face darkening further.

As he was preparing to respond, He Shidi suddenly made strange movements. He bit his tongue and spat out a mouthful of blood, which quickly flowed into the Black Blood God Needle. This scene made Lu Benben's heart tighten. As the blood entered, the needle started emanating a blood-colored mist in the air, seemingly growing even more terrifying.

A flash of vigilance appeared in Lu Benben's eyes as he realized He Shidi was merging his own life blood with the needle's power, attempting to enhance its strength. Immediately, He Shidi's control over the Black Blood God Needle surged, and if he didn't stop this quickly, he would be in grave danger.

"Damn it!" Lu Benben murmured coldly, his aura suddenly turning sharp. He began to form hand seals rapidly, and an ancient, vast energy began to manifest in the air.

At this moment, a look of fear appeared in He Shidi's eyes, and he quickly retreated, his body stiffening. Lu Benben's current state seemed to stir an extremely uneasy feeling in him.

"You madman, you actually dare summon the Asura Clan?" He Shidi's voice was filled with shock and fear.

As Lu Benben chanted incantations rapidly, his chest wound suddenly split open, blood gushing out, but disappearing half an inch away. An unusual aura gathered in the air, as if some supreme being was watching all of this from the shadows.

He Shidi's face turned pale, and a deafening crash echoed from behind him. The roof was torn apart, and a terrifying shadow plunged down from the broken ceiling. The ground trembled violently, and wooden debris flew everywhere, the air thick with an overwhelming oppressive force.

A massive figure, at least ten feet tall, descended from the sky, crushing the roof and standing firmly on the ground. It was an Asura, with a body as large as a demon god, covered in sharp black bone spikes at the shoulders, elbows, and joints, and flat, saw-toothed bone spikes growing from its back. Its face was grotesque, with eyes as terrifying as an abyss. Most frightening of all, it wielded a huge, twisted bone blade that radiated an indescribable brutal aura, as if it had devoured countless blood.

He Shidi's eyes filled with despair, knowing there was no retreat for him now.

"You're all finished." Lu Benben whispered, his cold smile becoming more evident. Even a Di Sha Asura could give him a decent chance of victory, but if the Asura Clan truly descended, the situation would spiral completely out of control.

At this moment, inside the shattered wooden house, the air seemed to tremble. Everything was about to change under the influence of this demonic god-like power.
