ALICIA'S POV
"To do what is best for the pack. The Luna of the Blackwood Pack is....."
The whole crowd went silent. Waiting to hear the name of their Luna. Alicia is happy as she is about to be announced as the Luna of the Blackwood Pack. Damon paused for a second staring in Alicia's direction. His face went blank showing no emotions,
as continued, "....Anastasia Russo, the daughter of the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack"
Alicia's smile turned into a sad frown as she witnesses her mates betrayal. The crowd rejoices but she felt broken as her heart is torn into pieces. Immediately her ears became shut. It was like she is deaf.
She felt the world going slow as she couldn't believe what was happening. Witnessing her mates betrayal. The only person she had hope that one day he will take her out of her misery. The only person she thought was going to give her the reason of life, betrayed her.
But it turns out the grass was not greener on the other side as she assumed. Alicia hung her head down, praying that it is a dream. A nightmare. She even tried pinching herself to wake up from this bad dream.
But it wasn't a dream it was a reality. She was just betrayed by her mate, Damon. Who promised her heaven and earth. The very same mate who took her innocence. The very same mate who promised to make her the Luna of the Blackwood Pack.
She felt like confronting him in front of everyone. Questions about whether what they had was real. But it was obvious. It wasn't to Damon. It was just another night where she layed in bed with the devil. She felt like screaming, but she couldn't she could only cry from her inside. Alicia knew no one would want her as the Luna as she doesn't even have a wolf.
Alicia had a lot of questions on her mind as she was wondering what was the reason for her mate to turn his back on her. She decides to go confront Damon but realises he is still taking to the crowd.
As she awaits for Damon to finish his speech. Damon talks to some guests –as they congratulate him in finding his mate. When Damon is done talking to the guest as he turns he is faced by Alicia. As he tries to avoid an eye contact with Alicia.
Alicia walks to Damon to confront him but he grabbed Alicia by her hand as he dragged her to the woods so she doesn't make a scene as it will draw attention to them.
"I thought you loved me, you promised to announce me as your mate only for you to betray me! Why? Why Damon?", as she said that with tears on her eyes.
"You thought I would marry you and make you my mate. Look at you Alicia. You are wolfless. You are just worthless and I don't want you as my mate. And I'm gonna mark Anastasia as my mate."
"So you just took my innocence Damon? Why didn't you just reject me? Answer me Damon! Why couldn't you just reject me!"
Damon stares at Alicia speechless. He didn't know how to respond her.
"Okay Damon I will make it easy for you. I Alicia reject Alpha Damon Sébastien King as my mate."
Damon's grin suddenly turned perplexed as he heard those words echo on his mind. Alicia didn't even give Damon time to respond as she runs off to her place in tears.
The only thing Alicia can hear is her footsteps as it was very silent in the streets–everyone went to the ceremony. Alicia has many questions in her mind on why her mate took her innocence and then rejected her? Why couldn't he just kill her instead of letting her feel so much pain.
She opens the door in her room, making her way into her bed. She crawls up in the floor and cries for almost an hour. Conflicted by everything that happened, Alicia wanted to kill herself. It was the only way she will not feel pain.
She ends up packing her stuff as she decides to go exile as a Rogue. It was the only way she could heal and move on from what happened as Blackwood has a lot of bad memories for her. She then wrote a letter to her bestfriend Emily as she is the only person who will worry about her.

Dear Emily
I'm sorry I had to leave you behind. I found out Damon is my mate and he begged me to keep it a secret from everyone and promised to announce me as his Luna to everyone. Only for him to betray me and reject me.
So I have decided to go exile. Somewhere far away. I can't bear to see my mate with someone. So I'm leaving the pack. I love you soo much. More than anything I promise once I get better I will come back to see you.

She then places the letter on her pillow and looks at her room one last time as she is about to leave the place with mostly her childhood memories with her friend.
She then runs to the border and makes sure she musks her scent to be not detected by the packs guards as she crosses the packs border. When Alicia reached the packs border, filled with a lot of mixed emotions. The only place she ever thought was her home would soon be a place she doesn't wish to go back to, she then turns back and says ,
"I will come for my revenge, Alpha Damon Sébastien King. This is not the end!"
Alicia traveled for hours and decided to rest near the tree. As she grabs her duffle bag to get take out the bottle of water inside the bag, she realises that she ran out of water. After resting for a few minutes, she decides to carry on with her trip. As she was 10 feet away, she heard the snapping sound of a tree branch and realised that she was not alone.
As she turns to the direction where she heard a sound. She is faced by three werewolves the left wolf was light brown, the one in the middle was 6 ft taller than the two wolfs which Alicia realised it could be the Alpha of the pack, it was black in colour, then the one on the right was dark brown which could be the Beta or the third in command.
"What are you doing in our territory?" as the Alpha shouted in a commanding voice to Alicia. But she didn't submit to the command of the Alpha.
Alpha Jonathan was alarmed by Alicia's behavior as he saw that she didn't submit to his command or neither bow down to him in submission. What alarmed him is that she smelled wolfless but didn't submit to him.
"I said what are you doing In our territory Rouge?" he snapped as he started taking a step forward, narrowing his eyes to Alicia.
Alicia got very scared as she realised her life could be at stake, she tried running but ended up collapsing as pain struck her heart notifying her that her mate is marking another she-wolf. Which is Anastasia.
Her body started heating up as she is going through the heat. She starts scratching her body harming herself as she is trying to stop the pain that she is feeling.
Alpha Jonathan, " She is going through the heat. Hold her hands so that she doesn't hurt herself."
"I'm burn...I'm burning...Help me please" said Alicia as she squeezed her eyes shut.
Alicia wept in pain until she passed out. She wakes up in the room with a middle aged women next to her and two males in the room, they looked worried.
"Skylar, are you fine? Where have you been?" as she sobbed in tears and touches Alicia's cheeks.
Alicia was shocked by what the women is saying, she moved back as she is frightened by what is happening. Why is this women calling her– her daughter?
"Skylar?" Alicia respond with a questioning voice as she gazed at everyone in the room with a confused expression. She couldn't wrap her head around the fact that they know her.
"I'm Luna Emelda Brimxton. And this is Alpha Jason Brimxton," as she points on the middle aged male in the room, with black hair and a beard. He looked a lot like the male next to him. Which could be the son. The male next to him looked like he was in his twenties.
".....and that is Jonathan our son. You are at the Crystal Pack."
"Yes I do understand that but why are you calling me Skylar. I'm not Skylar–I'm Alicia I don't have parents so stop what you are saying" said Alicia with a shaken voice.
The lady came close to her and started grabbing the necklace on her neck which she had since she was young that has an 'S' letter on it.
"You are my daughter, Skylar."
