Su Qinglan kept vomiting outside the cave. Her body was shaking, and she couldn't stop. It felt like her whole stomach was turning upside down, wanting to throw everything out.
Rong Ye quickly ran to her side, panic clear on his face.
"Qinglan! Are you safe? What happened? Are you feeling uncomfortable?" he asked in a trembling voice. His hands hovered near her, not knowing what to do.
Hu Yan came beside her too. He was calmer than Rong Ye, but his face was still serious. He quickly poured some water into a small stone bowl and held it out to her.
"Drink a little," he said softly. "It might help."
But even after taking the cup, she couldn't drink right away. Her body kept shaking, and she bent forward again, vomiting more. Her face turned pale, and cold sweat rolled down her neck.
Rong Ye's heart was beating fast. He looked around helplessly. "Should I call the witch doctor? Or bring the elder female?" he asked nervously.
