Manis was so thoroughly ashamed that his entire face felt like it was on fire!
Before fleeing the room, he couldn't help but glare at Lin Muyu with an accusing, teary-eyed gaze.
Why does she have to say all of these embarrassing things in front of everyone?! She really is a she-devil! He screamed in his heart. Without waiting another second, he spun on his heel and bolted right out of the house.
Outside, the three little cubs… Maomao, Ciao Ciao, and Xiao Er…immediately scrambled up and ran after him!
However, they weren't chasing him to offer any gentle consolation. They simply wanted to go down to the river to catch some fish, and Uncle Manis was the perfect person to help them!
The cubs didn't even consider that he needed comforting. Once outside, they immediately tracked his scent straight toward the river bank.
Manis could only grumble and sulk under his breath, but seeing the little cubs trotting behind him with wide, innocent eyes, his heart softened.
