Rumble~
A figure wrapped in lightning fell obliquely towards the surging sea. A brilliant starburst of light exploded in the sky. With a "bang," water splashed everywhere like an explosion. The figure sank into the depths, but the next second, he broke through the surface and hovered in the air.
Thor held Mjölnir, feeling the blood surging in his body, the pain of broken bones, and damaged internal organs. His warrior's eyes scanned the sky. In this short, bloody battle, he was at a complete disadvantage, utterly crushed. The combat power of his opponents was far beyond his expectations. In all the battles he had ever fought, he had rarely encountered such mastery of strength, speed, reflexes, and physical technique. The women's teamwork and coordination were flawless. Their offensive was like a relentless tide, wave after wave, giving him no chance to breathe.
He had been in mortal peril countless times. The most significant issue was that their fists possessed a destructive power he had never encountered before. If not for his armor and Mjölnir, which were forged by dwarfs and blessed with rune magic, they would have been shattered on the spot. Even so, he was nearly defeated after being hit twice. Fortunately, his divine power blessed him with an incredible healing ability, allowing him to barely hang on.
Thor never imagined that this nation, which he had always considered backward and ignorant, could possibly possess so many powerful gods.
Bang!
He had only a moment to think. The air behind him exploded with a blurry motion, and an attack appeared instantly. This small lapse in concentration proved disastrous. A slender finger with a red nail pressed against his back. A red cross-shaped starburst of light exploded.
Boom!
The intense impact and searing pain pierced Thor's back, launching him forward like a cannonball. He shot dozens of kilometers before falling obliquely onto the sea, carving a long channel in the water that stretched for over ten kilometers.
Floating on the sea, Thor felt as if he was on fire, his blood coursing with poison. His divine body began to feel paralyzed, and the horrible pain tortured his will. Even with his iron resolve, he couldn't help but roar in agony. He surged his divine power to try and dispel this abnormal state, but he was shocked to find he couldn't. It felt as though countless steel needles were stuck in his body, firmly blocking the flow of his divine power and preventing him from controlling the storm.
Thor knew he had lost this battle, and he had lost miserably. Half of his head sank into the sea, his expression filled with frustration. His consciousness began to fade, his vision slowly turning dark. He finally passed out, his body drifting on the water's surface. A moment later, Salina flew down, reached out her hand, and used her massive, invisible psychokinesis to lift Thor out of the water. She grabbed his hair without a hint of mercy and flew back toward the central island base. The other instructors followed close behind her like meteors.
Holding Thor, Salina and the other women landed on the base's platform. The children who had witnessed this god-like battle cheered with excitement and admiration.
"Instructor Salina, you're amazing! So powerful!"
"Hmph, two hateful invaders. They were asking for death by coming here."
"I think they must be insane."
"But their clothes look strange. They don't seem like they're from Earth. Are they Mutants?"
"Definitely not."
The children's cheers made Salina and the other instructors smile gently. Having experienced a cruel past, they cherished light and peace and were happy to see the innocent smiles on the children's faces.
Salina waved her hand, telling some other assistant instructors to take the children back to their dorms. This was not a situation for the children to be involved in.
Thor, who was now like a dead dog, was tossed casually onto the ground. Loki, who was standing next to Lisa, found himself enjoying the sight of Thor being beaten. But since he was also a prisoner, he couldn't bring himself to be truly happy.
"How is it?" Salina asked, glancing at the "well-behaved and honest" Loki before looking at Lisa.
"This pretty boy is named Loki. According to him, that's Thor, and they are from Asgard. He claims Thor had a vision of a disaster that would threaten the Nine Realms, and they came to Earth to investigate." Lisa explained.
Salina and the other women frowned and looked at each other. In the distance, the sea surged and roared, and the dark clouds in the sky gradually dissipated, allowing the moonlight to shine down on the platform. After a moment of thought, Salina looked at Loki and asked coldly, "Where is Asgard?"
"Asgard is in a world far from Earth," he replied.
"How did you get here?"
"The Bifrost. It can instantly cross great distances to reach a destination."
Salina carefully interrogated him. Loki answered everything he knew without hesitation, spilling details about the Nine Realms and the World Tree. He was deliberately vague about Asgard's military power and secrets, using his words to hide the truth.
Salina noticed this but didn't press. The information he gave was enough for her to process. This opportunity was also a chance for her to learn about other dimensions, Hell, Heaven, Asgard, Olympus, and the other major powers in the universe. She planned to record this information and report it to Ophelia, who was in charge of them. She would also add it to a database for the Guard recruits to study and memorize later. As a former spy, she valued information above all else.
"Lisa?" Salina looked at Lisa. Lisa knew what she was asking. Just as she was about to nod, ten beautiful figures emerged from a golden vortex portal not far away, walking with light, elegant steps.
Seeing this person, everyone, including Salina, bowed their heads and held their left fists to their chests. "Lord Viper."
The person who had arrived was Viper Ophelia, wearing a brown coat and tights, with an elegant and mature air. In Loki's eyes, however, she was a figure of extreme danger, a new source of shock.
Another one? How many gods of this level are there on Midgard? In Loki's mind, he and Thor were gods. So anyone who could defeat them must also be a god. They exuded a subtle divinity and an essence of immortality that mortals could not possess.
Ophelia appeared, and Salina recounted all the information she had gotten from the interrogation. "Not bad. What are your thoughts?" Ophelia nodded and asked.
"This Loki is very weak, but his physique is not bad, and he's cunning and good at magic," Salina said, giving a blunt assessment and ignoring the secretly fuming Loki. She then pointed to Thor, who was lying on the ground, twitching less and less. "He is very powerful. He can wield the power of storms, has excellent combat awareness, and a strong physique, but he has significant flaws in his physical skills."
"One-on-one, it would take me a long time to defeat him. He learns very fast and adapts well in combat." Salina's evaluation was fair.
Ophelia tapped her chin lightly, looking at Thor on the ground. She mused, "After being injected with your scarlet poison needle, he adapted so quickly. That's a very good body." She thought to herself that he would be an excellent subject for her poison experiments. But she knew she couldn't make that decision on her own. This involved Asgard, the legendary gods of Norse mythology, and Odin, so she couldn't act on her own will.
"It's true," Salina agreed. "Our sixth-sense fists, which are powerful enough to break any matter down to its atomic structure, only injured him after two hits. Yet he recovered quickly. His physique isn't inferior to ours."
"Alright. The rest of you continue training the children. Salina and Lisa, bring these two with me to the temple." With that, Ophelia pointed her finger at Thor's chest. A green light erupted from her purple nails, and a beam of light poured into Thor's body.
The man suddenly jolted awake, his eyes hazy as if he had just woken up. He quickly shook his head to clear the daze, stood up, and held Mjölnir tightly, adopting a fighting stance. He then saw his brother Loki, who was standing beside Lisa, waving at him helplessly.
"Loki?"
"Yes, my dear brother," Loki replied weakly.
Thor then realized he had been defeated. Seeing Loki's state, he lowered Mjölnir and said heroically, "Sons of Midgard, you have earned my respect. Since I have been defeated, I am now your prisoner." Thor was a man who could accept defeat. Lightning crackled, and his armor fell away, revealing his simple, well-fitting clothes.
"Then, my two princes, please follow me to meet my god," Ophelia said, her eyes narrowing as she observed Thor's behavior. She could easily analyze his character. It was difficult to deceive her, even when she wasn't present.
After she spoke, she walked toward the golden vortex portal. Thor and Loki followed her under the watchful eyes of Lisa and Salina. The group sank into the golden vortex and disappeared. The other instructors looked at each other and then headed back to the dormitory building.
The golden vortex was a magical portal that Leon had improved from the Kamar-Taj magic. While its primary function was teleportation, it could also be a lethal attack. If used correctly, it could instantly kill an enemy. However, it was not very useful for those who had reached the sixth sense. People weaker than them could be killed with a sonic punch, and for those on the same level, "magic" was not as efficient as other methods of combat. But for simple, quick teleportation, it was incredibly useful.
Thor and Loki felt the environment change in the blink of an eye. What greeted them was an immense, wide hall. The towering ceiling was decorated with star patterns, and moonlight shone through, making it feel as if they were standing in the middle of a starry sky. Thirteen massive pillars stood around the hall, carved with delicate and beautiful patterns. The floor was as smooth as a still lake. The entire hall exuded a solemn, sacred atmosphere that inspired awe. In the eyes of Thor and Loki, this was a completely different style from Asgardian halls, with a unique temperament. Being there, they couldn't help but feel a sense of respect.
The two brothers were now full of solemnity. Loki was not the only one. Even Thor, as reckless as he was, knew what kind of great god he was about to meet. To be able to cultivate powerful gods like Salina, Lisa, and Ophelia would require a great power, perhaps on the same level as their Allfather Odin.
No wonder the Allfather stopped us from coming to Midgard to investigate, Thor's thought immediately flashed through Loki's mind, and he finally understood.
Holding their breath, the two walked through the hall, passing one sky-high pillar after another until they reached the far end. There, with his back to them, stood a tall figure under a glass dome adorned with constellations. As they got closer, he turned around. He was extremely handsome, with black hair, perfect features, and a tall physique. His eyes seemed to contain stars, and if they stared for too long, they might be lost in them. Though his clothes were simple and modern, his temperament was elegant and noble.
