Chapter 77 - Chapter 76: Brother Odin, The Fearful God King Serpent Resurrects

The fear sweeping the world bred panic. This highly contagious terror spread wildly, infinitely amplifying human negative emotions. It was like a virus. Despair and fear permeated everything, and then a great spiritual power suddenly emerged, helping humanity resist this fear. But it wasn't enough, far from enough.

In the Mariana Trench of the Pacific Ocean, a gigantic figure broke the surface of the sea. It was an infinitely long and enormous serpent. A terrifying and tyrannical aura swept the entire ocean.

Roar!

The terrifying roar shattered the clouds, and the reefs and islands in the surrounding seas crumbled. The serpent, its green scales glinting, unfurled a pair of massive wings. Countless spikes bristled on its back, and its vicious teeth looked capable of biting through any material. This creature from ancient legend had finally broken its seal and reappeared in the world.

The countless years of being sealed seemed to fill the great serpent with joy. It roared loudly, venting the anger that had been simmering for eons. The flames of hatred made it want to rush to Asgard and kill the one who had sealed it.

At that moment, a woman holding the Hammer of the God of Winter and wearing green and bright silver armor broke through the sea and flew to the serpent. "Father!" she shouted.

"My daughter, Casti." The angry serpent stopped its rampage and stared at its daughter, the Goddess of Winter, with its huge snake eyes. "You did well. Let us spread fear throughout the Nine Realms. Asgard and Odin will be burned to ashes by my vengeance."

"Father, you can't do this!" Casti spread her arms to stop her father from going to Asgard.

"You dare to stop me, my daughter?" the serpent roared, its voice echoing across the sky. Its terrifying aura was like a blazing flame.

But Casti was not afraid. She raised her head and shouted to her father, "Father, don't forget who defeated you. The countless years you spent sealed away have made you weak. Otherwise, you would not have let Odin's sons, Thor and Loki, escape. You need to find your messengers again. With their help, you can spread fear, return to your peak, and become even stronger!"

For a long time, the massive body of the father and the small body of his daughter stood in stark contrast.

The serpent's voice sounded again. "My daughter, you are right. I need to return to my peak. I need to replace my loyal messenger. But before that, you damn ant, who gave you permission to spy on the great God of Fear?"

Boom!

Opening its bloody mouth, a terrifying beam of light shot out, a light so dazzling it twisted the very air. This energy beam, powerful enough to destroy a city or even a country, suddenly exploded.

Bang!

Like a shattered meteorite, it turned into a flaming meteor and fell toward the sea, creating a column of water that shot sky-high. As the water fell, a sacred golden light burst forth under the heavy rain. Endless golden ripples spread out, and even the dark clouds in the sky disappeared under the golden light, revealing a clear blue sky. A beautiful rainbow emerged, and a figure stood upon it, facing the terrifying, sky-covering serpent with no fear. Her beautiful eyes were illuminated with a ruby-red glow, bright and holy.

"I have never seen such power. People of Midgard, if you think this is your confidence to fight me, then you are destined to be devoured by me!" The earth-shaking roar, accompanied by the serpent's movement, made the ground shake and the sky groan.

But in the face of such a terrifying creature, Salina remained terrifyingly calm. Her ruby-like eyes stared at the great serpent, and a wisp of golden flame burned from her body.

"Get off the Earth, or die!" A dazzling scarlet color bloomed from her fingertips. Even in its weakened state, Salina knew she could not compete with the serpent, but as a Saint under Leon, her faith and will would not allow her to retreat or be afraid.

The clash of their auras shook the entire world, and the sea roared more violently. Salina's face, partially hidden by her helmet, wrinkled slightly. The clash of momentum was taking a toll on her.

Leon, far away in the town, was unaffected by the fear due to his presence. The town was still peaceful. He stood on the lakeshore, seemingly looking at the distant lake, but a touch of azure light appeared in his eyes.

The serpent's eyes flashed, and an unprecedented sense of crisis surged in its heart. The serpent was crazy but not stupid. It felt a danger that it couldn't place. Where was the crisis coming from?

The huge wings behind it fluttered slightly, stirring up a violent wind, and a rampant laugh echoed across the sky. "People of Midgard, I can feel your ridiculous faith and will. Next time, you will witness your own death. I will watch the fear you grow, and it will please me."

Om...

With a flash of green light, the serpent and its daughter, Casti, disappeared.

"That is...sensing God." The golden flames on Salina's body gradually dimmed. She whispered softly, and her figure disappeared with a golden vortex. Having faced the great serpent directly, she had felt the oppression of a powerful being of that level. She knew that she, with only the Sixth Sense, was no match for it. But the encounter had brought her significant gains.

With the serpent's disappearance, the fear that had spread across the Earth lost its source and slowly vanished, and the world returned to its original state. However, the impact of this moment did not dissipate. Where had such a terrible fear come from?

Soon, a blurry video appeared on social media, completely and thoroughly detonating the internet. In the video, a scene of a raging sea, a sky filled with dark clouds, and terrible thunder rages. A terrifying, sky-covering serpent is bathed in lightning, and Salina, wearing the golden Saint Cloth, confronts the monster.
