Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 – When Chaos Became a Weapon

16–10.Johzenji's captain fired a jump serve straight at Akira.THUNK! He absorbed it like catching a medicine ball, then popped it clean to Kageyama. The set went high, slow… suspiciously slow. The moment Johzenji's blockers committed to Asahi, Akira teleported into the zone and unleashed a side-arm spike that kissed the sideline. The gym rippled with "OHHHHH!"

17–10.Noya serve — a pinball-style float. It slammed into Johzenji's chest, ricocheted to their setter, who somehow bump-set it back row.Hinata was there, high block, ball splat.

17–11.Johzenji answered with a ridiculous double setter play — the captain acted like he'd spike, underhanded it last second to their real setter, who drop-set for a tip kill.Tanaka screamed, "WHAT IS THIS CIRCUS?!"

18–11.Tsukishima's turn — sharp float serve, midcourt landing. Johzenji's receive floated high, Akira ran from the back and smashed it before Kageyama could set.Ukai grinned. "That's legal… barely."

19–11.Karasuno's chaos system went nuclear — Hinata sprinted in a full circle before his quick, leaving blockers dizzy.Kageyama placed the ball exactly where he landed.Perfect point.

19–12.Johzenji brought out a fake-argue move — two players shouted at each other mid-play while their middle quietly spiked a free ball.

20–12.Akira's jump serve was a silver blur — ball dove just over net tape. The libero flailed, popped it behind him.Hinata read it, midair block straight down.

20–13.Johzenji pulled a back-row slide — yes, a slide from the libero.Crowd half gasped, half wheezed as it scored.

21–13.Tanaka "accidentally" shouted "GO LEFT!"Johzenji's block actually stepped left — Kageyama set right to Asahi.BOOM.

21–14.Johzenji's serve clipped the antenna, bouncing in — crowd confused — ref ruled in. Daichi calmly nodded and played on until they killed it.But replay showed it really was in.Still their point.

22–14.Hinata and Akira both jumped for a double quick, Hinata tapped lightly over — ball rolled on the tape, dropped in slow motion.

23–14.Noya pancake saved a screaming Johzenji spike, flipping it back.Tsukishima stepped in and roofed the free-ball return like shutting a vault.

23–15.Johzenji's last chaos strike — three-man jump serve fake, actual server popped from bench side.Legal under substitution rules, barely.Ace down the middle.

Match point.

24–15.The crowd was standing, the gym buzzing.Akira in serve position, tossing the ball… then suddenly letting it fall.Everyone froze — except Hinata, who grinned.Ukai yelled, "RUN IT!"The whistle never came — Kageyama served instead from the next rotation without warning.Johzenji's entire receive line blinked — and Asahi pounded the overpass into the floor.

25–15.Set. Match. Chaos perfected.

The whistle's final blast was drowned by cheering.Johzenji's players, still laughing, high-fived Karasuno like it was the best street game of their lives.Ukai exhaled, muttering, "That's how you make madness… a weapon."

Akira spun toward the stands, smirk aimed at Oikawa.Oikawa's answering glare could've cracked glass.Izumi's sing-song tease floated over:"Aw, big brother jealous~?"Akira winked — "He's always jealous."

Karasuno was already buzzing for the next round…because if this was Johzenji-level chaos, what would happen against the monsters ahead?
