It was absurd how he had transmigrated without any warning. He closed his eyes, and when he opened them, he was standing before the emperor of the Wandenreich, Yhwach.

But this was merely a stay of execution. Bai Yuetong was well aware of Yhwach's Auswählen.
Although his Schrift ability was very special, different from most other members of the Sternritter and more akin to the Schutzstaffel's 'Hand' and 'Heart', Pernida and Gerard, it seemed his power existed even before he drank the blood wine. Yhwach granting him a Schrift was merely giving a name to an ability he already possessed, rather than engraving a letter to awaken his potential.
Even so, he couldn't be sure if he, a 'leek' waiting to be harvested, could resist the Auswählen. After all, most of the power he now possessed came from Yhwach.
As a transmigrator, he seemed to have no special cheat or 'system' of his own. In fact, Yhwach, who had 'loaned' him so much power, felt more like his cheat system.
But this 'old benefactor' wouldn't just kick the bucket after passing on his skills. He would come back to collect everything with interest. "Nice one, Meninas. Throw that idiot far away. She's so noisy, chirping all the time," Liltotto Lamperd said as she stuffed a hot dog into her mouth, casually firing a bolt of green lightning that left the enraged Bambietta twitching and spasming on the floor.
Fortunately, Meninas had already tossed Bambietta into a corner, otherwise she would have been caught in the blast.

Combined with his handsome features and the special favor he received from Emperor Yhwach, there were few in the Wandenreich who could refuse him.
The discovery that 'connection' could fulfill the condition for sharing was a happy accident. A then-innocent Bambietta, always in a huff, decided to find a handsome man to torture and kill to blow off some steam.
The naturally malevolent Bambietta sought out Bai Yuetong, who was handsome, valued by the Emperor, and the center of everyone's attention. After a fierce 'battle', she inadvertently unlocked a new application for his Schrift.
However, the few who spent the most time with him discovered that not only could they share power and life with Bai Yuetong, but when he willingly opened the connection, they could also share the abilities he had shared from others.
