Chapter 4 - The Human Pile Driver, an Enraged Wanda!

The next morning.

In a lavishly decorated room, Wanda bit her red lip, her eyes opening with a pained expression. A sparkling chandelier was the first thing she saw. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the midday sun shone brightly, its light reflecting off the smooth floor tiles like sparkling waves on a lake.

"Hiss, it hurts so much!"

An intense, body-wide pain hit her all at once, as if she had been run over by a heavy truck. Even her lips felt tender. Wanda looked at the unfamiliar room, her eyes filled with confusion.

"Where am I?"

She felt her clothes and noticed her scarlet uniform had been replaced with a man's shirt, which carried a faint scent of sandalwood cologne. Her mind went blank. "I think I went out for a drink yesterday... But after drinking, I think I bumped into..."

"Hiss~"

Just thinking about it made her head spin. Wanda forced herself to recall the details of last night, but she frowned as her memory stopped there. Smelling the men's cologne on the white shirt, she had a pretty good idea of what had happened.

"Could it be that I..."

Her expression turned to panic. The pain in her lower body confirmed her fears.

Knock, knock, knock...

Just then, footsteps sounded from the wooden hallway outside. The sudden noise made the already panicked Wanda's brain shut down. She hid completely under the covers, leaving only a small slit.

A young, handsome man in a bathrobe walked in, carrying an aluminum tray. On it was a buttered sandwich, fried eggs, and a glass of milk. The faint scent of butter wafted through the gap in the blanket.

Cassius smiled as he entered the room and saw the blanket on the bed bulging.

"You're awake?" he asked gently. Even though they had only been together for a short time, he knew Wanda didn't like to be covered by a blanket. He had tried to cover her a few times when he returned in the morning, but she had always kicked it off. Now he was certain she was awake.

"Was it you?" Wanda's small face poked out from the gap. Even though she had forgotten many things, she could vaguely remember Cassius's face from last night.

"Yeah, it was me!" Cassius smiled, a mischievous look on his face.

His words instantly filled Wanda with a mix of fury and embarrassment. Her small face turned incredibly red, as if it had been steamed.

"You!" Wanda huffed, cheeks puffed up. She threw off the soft blanket and tried to get out of bed, but a sharp pain shot through her.

"Hiss!"

Her face turned pale, and she knelt on the bed, clutching her stomach. The tearing pain from her abdomen made her gasp for air.

"Are you okay?" Cassius quickly put down the breakfast and sat next to her. "You were too wild; you must have hurt yourself by accident!"

After all, they had been at it from dusk until almost noon the next day. This outcome was to be expected. Besides, he had tried an experiment this morning. Unfortunately, doing it too frequently didn't trigger the effect a second time. It was probably like his coffee reward, where he could only get one a day. The system was likely trying to prevent him from getting too greedy.

"Me?" Wanda pointed at herself, her voice full of indignation. "Wild?" Although she vaguely remembered what happened, she didn't recall the details. His words only made her more mortified and angry.

"Does it hurt a lot?" Cassius asked, looking at her with a hint of sympathy.

This question was the final straw.

"What do you think?!" Wanda's eyes welled up with tears, and her breathing became ragged. How could it not hurt after being subjected to a pounding like a dragon's spear? She suspected this damned man was a human pile driver. He had no idea what it meant to be gentle with a woman!

"Why don't you eat something first to get your strength back?" Cassius said, his lips pursed with a touch of apology. Even though she was the one who initiated it, things had ended up this way. It was only right for him to act like a caring boyfriend, a quality he prided himself on.

Just as he reached out to help her up, a sudden buzzing sound filled the room.

"Get away from me!"

A flood of scarlet light erupted around her, and the furniture began to tremble. Wanda's eyes glowed crimson, and with a wave of her delicate, pale hand, a furious, valiant-looking scarlet beam shot towards Cassius.

In that instant, a flicker of tenderness crossed Wanda's eyes, and the crimson beam softened slightly. Still, the red light surged and roared.
