Chapter 1: The New Life of Knight
It had been two months since the Warlock incident.
Strom had left his old blacksmith life behind and moved to a quiet village far away from the ruins of his home.
Now, instead of forging blades, he baked pies and bread — the kind of peace he never thought he'd have.
Dravyss, in her human form, lived with him.
Wraith, however, refused to lock herself in human form. Her reason?
If anyone ever saw her true blue skin — a disaster could follow.
It was a calm morning of November 3rd — and more than that, it was Strom's 21st birthday.
For the first time in years, he actually felt… excited.
While Dravyss was in the kitchen, the gang arrived — Wraith, Astrid, Sam, Natalya, and Nia — ready to surprise him.
Astrid (landing a crushing punch on his back): Happy birthday, Knight!
Strom (smiling in pain): Thanks, muscle mommy.
Wraith (in human form): Happy birthday, idiot.
Strom: Thanks, bitch.
Wraith: You're blessed by the gods that it's your birthday, or I'd kick you through the wall.
Sam: Happy birthday, bro.
Strom: Thanks, dude. I hope you brought the cake.
Sam: You mean the cake that breaks my spine every year?
Strom: Exactly.
Sam: Not this time, bro — the girls are handling that.
Moments later, Nia and Natalya walked in carrying a huge box — the cake inside.
None of them used their powers; this village didn't know that Strom was the Dragon Knight.
They blended in — no weapons, no armor, no aura — just friends celebrating quietly.
Natalya: Happy birthday, darling.
Strom: Thanks, hottie.
Nia leaned in and kissed his cheek softly.
Nia: Happy birthday, Strom.
Strom: Thank you so much—
Then he turned — and froze.
There stood Wraith, the blue demoness, red-faced, eyes burning like magma.
Strom (coughs awkwardly, walking away and whispering): Fucked up.
Later, they all celebrated together.
For once, there was laughter, peace, and no hint of chaos.
Strom didn't wear his pendant anymore — not unless he truly needed it.
He knew that every time he used the stone, chaos found him.
And as he watched Dravyss chatting happily with villagers — the mighty dragon smiling like a gentle mother —
Strom realized something rare:
For now, he wasn't the Dragon Knight.
He was just… Strom.
Chapter 2: The Ancient Call
It was November 5th.
The night was cold — silent — but Strom wasn't sleeping.
He was outside. Not wandering but.....Hunting.
He always hid his armor and weapons deep inside a dark cave in the nearby forest.
Whenever the urge to do something reckless or cool hit him, that's where he went.
Night hunts were his secret — no one in the village could ever know what he truly was.
Tonight, the forest was unnaturally quiet.
Then came a growl — deep, wet, and twisted.
Strom crouched low, eyes narrowing as he saw it:
A massive beast tearing apart another creature, drinking its blood while it still lived.
Strom: Oh god… that's one ugly black piece of shit.
He had left his pendant at home — no dragon power this time.
But he fought anyway.
Every battle, every scar had sharpened him.
He didn't need a sword to prove who he was.
Seven minutes.
That's all it took for him to tear both monsters down — with nothing but skill, speed, and a single Dragon spear.
Now standing over the corpses, his armor half-soaked in black blood, half in dark red, he sighed.
Strom: Laundry time, mate.
He walked to the nearby river, washed the blood off, and then made his way back to the cave — leaving no trace — before heading home for some sleep.
---
But back in the house, something else stirred.
In Dravyss's room, a faint vibration ran through the air — a sound older than anything.
An Alpha Call.
Something ancient was whispering her name.
Something only dragons could hear.
Her eyes snapped open — golden pupils glowing faintly in the dark.
She could feel it.
Something powerful had awakened beneath the oceans.
She went downstairs quietly to check on Strom — only to find his room empty.
A small smile tugged at her lips.
Dravyss: Hunting again… stubborn kid.
Moments later, Strom returned, pushing the door open.
Dravyss was sitting in the chair, half-asleep, lost deep in thought.
Strom (snapping his fingers): Mom? You here?
Dravyss: Ye—Yes! I'm listening!
Strom: You need to sleep, mom.
Dravyss: I was just about to… but I told you not to go outside at night.
Strom: It was fun.
Dravyss: You'll make me worry myself to death one day.
Strom sat beside her feet, resting his head on her knees like a kid again.
Strom: Don't worry, mom. When you're with me, nothing can happen to me.
Dravyss looked at him silently.
But in her mind, the thought echoed — cold and heavy.
"Sorry, son… but I can feel it. Something ancient is coming. And sooner or later… I might have to face it."
Her dragon blood trembled, but she stayed.
Because leaving him alone — even for a war — felt impossible now.
Chapter 3 – The Gift
The morning light crept through the windows, peaceful and golden — but Strom noticed something different.
Dravyss sat by the window, her eyes lost in distant thoughts.
Strom (thinking): She looks… distracted again.
Then he smiled faintly.
Strom: "I need to get a gift for my biggest gift."
To Strom, his biggest gift wasn't fame, gold, or glory — it was Dravyss.
After losing everything, she became the one thing he could call home. The legendary dragon — and yet, to him, the most human mother he could ever have.
Later that evening, when the market was closing, Strom took all the coins he had saved and rushed to the jewelry shop.
Merchant: "What brings you here, young man?"
Strom: "I want something special for my mother."
Merchant: "Can you describe her?"
Strom: "Calm. Kind. And… the most important person in my life."
The merchant smiled. "Then perhaps… a golden bangle, with platinum flowers. Gentle but precious."
Strom looked at it — elegant, shining softly like moonlight.
Strom: "It's perfect."
He bought it and hurried home, excitement flickering in his chest.
But when he opened the door — silence.
The pendant still hung from the wall, but the house was empty.
Strom: "Mom?"
No answer.
His heart tightened.
Strom: "Mom! Where are you?! Please come back… I promise I'll never go hunting again!"
But there was only silence.
He rushed toward the door — and nearly collided with Sam.
Sam: "Whoa! Easy, bro. What's going on?"
Strom: "Have you seen my mom?"
Astrid: "You mean Dragon Auntie?"
Strom: "Yes!"
Wraith: "Where is she?"
Nia: "Did something happen?"
Strom looked desperate. "Please. Help me find her."
Everyone nodded.
He grabbed his pendant and focused. It glowed faintly — her energy was still there, somewhere far away.
They reached an open field, and Nia transformed into a massive griffin. The team climbed on as she spread her wings, slicing through the cold night sky.
Thanks to the pendant, Strom could sense Dravyss — faint, like a whisper calling him home.
They landed near a high cliff, overlooking a vast, black ocean.
And there — a trail of blood. Dragon blood.
Strom knelt and touched it.
It was still warm.
Strom (softly): "Mom…"
Then, from the abyss below, came a thunderous roar — deep, ancient, shaking the very air.
The sound of something awakening in the darkness.
Chapter 4 — The Nightmare
The roar split the ocean in half.
From the darkness beneath the waves, something began to rise — enormous, ancient, and cruel.
Its body was a fortress of black spikes and scarred flesh, each movement tearing the water apart. Two colossal yellow eyes, streaked with red veins, glared at the cliff. Its smile stretched too wide — a wall of sword-like teeth flashing with hunger.
Even Strom, who had fought demons and monsters before, stepped back. The pendant around his neck burned faintly — the creature could feel Dravyss' aura through it.
Before it could strike, a massive boulder crashed against the beast's skull, sending it reeling into the water. The sea exploded as something far greater descended from the sky — Dravyss, wings wide, her scales cracked and bleeding.
Dravyss (furious): Who told you to come here?!
Strom (shielding his friends): It's my fault! They followed my order — I brought them!
Dravyss: Go home. I'll handle him.
But before she could move, the monster hurled a stone back with such force it split the air. Dravyss spread her wings, covering everyone, taking the full impact herself. Blood ran down her arms, but her gaze stayed firm.
Dravyss (gritting her teeth): Go home...
Strom (his voice trembling, dragon blood burning): He'll regret that.
Nia: Yes... he will.
In a flash, Nia transformed into a massive sea creature — a giant octopus — and snatched Strom, Astrid, Wraith, and Sam in her tentacles.
Dravyss sighed. Stubborn kids... never listen to their elders.
She launched into the sky, her wings shaking the clouds as the others dove straight toward the beast.
No weapons. No armor. No spells ready.
Only rage, courage, and loyalty.
Strom leapt first — his fist collided with the monster's face, sending it crashing back into the sea. Before it could sink, Nia wrapped her massive tentacles around it, dragging it back up.
Dravyss soared higher, her body glowing faintly blue as her dragon power awakened.
Strom: Do it Mom! Show him who's boss!
From the storm clouds above, Dravyss descended like divine wrath.
Her claws ripped the creature apart — black and red flesh raining into the ocean.
The waves went still. The world fell silent.
Wraith (grinning): Easy as fuck.
But the silence didn't last.
The monster's remains twitched — then began to heal. Muscles stitched, bones cracked back into place, and the abyss glowed red once more. Within seconds, it stood again — stronger, bigger, and angrier.
Astrid: Alright team, we're not letting him cook. I need a place to stand!
Nia understood instantly — she formed a solid platform with her tentacles. Astrid jumped, grabbed one of the beast's arms, and locked it tight. Nia caught the other arm. The monster roared and thrashed, but they held firm.
Strom: Attack!
Dravyss and Strom charged together — her claws striking like thunder, his fists pounding like hammers. Sam rained lightning and fire, while Wraith sliced through the monster's chest with blinding speed.
Dravyss delivered the final blow — a devastating punch that sent the beast flying back into the waves.
Dravyss (panting): Tell me we win...
But the sea began to boil.
The water turned black.
And then, the monster rose again — healed, enraged, and towering even higher than before.
A tidal wave the size of a mountain crashed over them.
Everything went white — then dark.
Chapter 5 — The Rage
The storm above raged on, lightning cracking across the sky.
Beneath the chaos, the monster seized its chance — diving straight toward Dravyss. Its claws wrapped around her wings, dragging her deep into the black water.
But before it could pull her down further, Nia's tentacles shot through the waves, wrapping around Dravyss and yanking her free.
The beast roared and burst from the ocean again — water raining down like shards of glass.
The team attacked instantly, a storm of fury and magic.
Dravyss ripped the creature's head apart in one brutal motion —
—but within seconds, it healed again. Completely.
Sam (shocked): W–What the hell is that?!
Strom (gritting his teeth): A nightmare.
The monster struck back, knocking them all off balance. The sea boiled as Dravyss and the creature clashed — claw to claw, punch for punch.
Dravyss was faster, sharper — but the monster was a tank. It didn't block. It endured.
Strom roared, calling his spear. It flew from the cave miles away — straight into his hand. With one motion, he hurled it through the air.
The spear pierced the creature's eye.
Sam followed up instantly — lightning crashed from the sky, electrifying the ocean.
Then Dravyss dove, her claw tearing straight through the beast's chest.
The monster screamed — then fell still.
Dravyss (breathing heavily): Stay dead.
But a whirlpool formed beneath them, spiraling fast — the monster's final trap.
Before it could devour them, Dravyss grabbed everyone and shot into the air, wings trembling from exhaustion.
Strom: Why won't he die?!
Sam: His regeneration's insane!
Wraith: He's got water healing — like me, but a thousand times worse!
Astrid: Strom — ready?!
Strom: Always!
Both leapt down together, landing on the creature's skull.
Punch after the punch, they shattered its bone plates, breaking the waves with every blow. Strom rammed his spear deep into its head — and then Dravyss's tail struck like a hammer, sending the monster flying.
Strom: We need to keep him out of the water!
Dravyss: How—
A massive rock slammed into her skull — THUD!
She crashed into the waves, bleeding but alive.
Wraith (furious): This son of a bitch!
She dove into the water, claws glowing with dark blue energy. One slash — and she tore the beast's hide apart. The others followed, striking from every side.
But Strom... he stayed behind.
Dravyss was struggling to rise, her body weak and torn. Something inside him snapped.
His veins pulsed red. His eyes burned like molten fire.
Strom (voice breaking): This is for my mom.
He swam upward, raising his hand. Dozens of small rocks around him began to tremble — then shot skyward.
A heartbeat later, his hand fell —
And the sky turned to fire.
Meteors rained down from above, tearing through the ocean like blazing spears. The sea boiled. The world shook.
Even his allies had to flee for their lives.
But Wraith — she couldn't escape in time.
She screamed in pain as one of the meteors exploded beside her, the flames ripping through the water.
Strom froze. His rage turned to horror.
He darted toward her, heart pounding — reaching out —
But before the monster could strike again, Dravyss burst through the smoke, roaring. She grabbed Strom and Wraith both, spreading her torn wings wide.
With one powerful beat, she carried everyone out of the storm, away from the burning sea.
But the nightmare wasn't over.
Below them, the monster began to grow.
Absorbing water. Expanding.
Its body rose higher and higher — until it towered over the horizon like a living mountain of flesh and spikes.
The true Nightmare had awakened.
Chapter 6 — The Final Strike
The team crash-landed on the same cliff where it all began.
But this time, they weren't the same warriors.
Their bodies were torn, blood dripping down their armor. Even Dravyss, the indestructible dragon mother, was covered in burns and claw marks.
Below them, the Nightmare Beast rose from the ocean — now a towering, unholy mountain of flesh and eyes. It didn't even need to roar anymore. Its presence alone shook the earth.
Strom, holding Wraith in his arms, whispered — voice trembling:
"I'm sorry, Wraith... I'm sorry."
Dravyss looked down at them — sorrow flickering in her golden eyes.
"You all shouldn't have come here."
Strom lowered his head.
"We lost... Mom."
Astrid clenched her fists, her blade trembling.
"We can't defeat him."
Sam, exhausted, muttered under his breath:
"His healing is insane... we're doomed."
Nia looked up, her voice trembling with fear.
"He doesn't have a limit…"
Dravyss turned toward the monster — her wings spreading wide, shadow swallowing the cliff. Her voice deepened, filled with fury and grief.
"He doesn't know what he has done… but now he will see where he stands."
Without another word, Dravyss launched herself into the sky — her roar shaking the sea apart.
The monster roared back, its body still growing — 500 feet... 800... 1000 feet tall and climbing.
Yet Dravyss didn't slow down.
She broke through the clouds, then the stratosphere — flames trailing behind her wings like burning comets.
When she reached orbit, the earth glowed below her — blue and fragile.
Dravyss's eyes softened for a second.
"This could end me… but I'm doing this for my children."
Then her body began to glow — scales bursting with ancient light.
She started growing.
500 feet... 1000... 5000...
Her roars echoed through the void.
When she hit 15,000 feet, her size dwarfed mountains — but the monster was still growing below.
Dravyss growled.
"I need more power."
The universe trembled.
Her body expanded beyond reason — her wings blotting out the stars.
And then — she was bigger than Earth itself.
Dravyss (eyes burning): "Die, you ugly monster!"
Her claws — each larger than a continent — closed around the Nightmare Beast. The creature shrieked in horror, its limbs flailing uselessly against her cosmic grip.
Dravyss's grin turned fierce.
"Go taste some fire."
With a single throw, she hurled the Nightmare Beast toward the sun.
The monster vanished into a streak of blazing light — gone in seconds.
But victory didn't feel like victory.
As her rage faded, pain struck.
A scream tore through the heavens.
Dravyss clutched her head — her skull burning, her veins glowing red.
Sam (on the cliff): "What's happening to her?!"
The world fell silent.
Then… her eyes opened again.
No longer soft gold — but sharp, slit pupils glowing bright blue.
Her lips curled into a wide, twisted grin.
Dravyss (voice darker, deeper):
"These little insects… don't deserve to be loved."
The air froze.
The strongest guardian of all time — their protector, their mother — had fallen.
Nia (horrified): "What…?"
Strom (shaking his head): "No… Mom… please… no."
And in that moment, the light of the world dimmed —
as the Dragon Mother became the Goddess of Destruction.
Chapter 7 — The Magic Spell
Dravyss roared, her voice shaking the heavens. Her massive claws dug into the earth — cracks spreading for miles — as she tried to tear the world apart.
But then—
A sharp, searing pain struck through her head. She staggered back, clutching her skull. Something... was stopping her.
Back on the cliff, the team watched in stunned silence.
Then Wraith's sharp eyes caught something strange—
Strom, standing alone at the edge, his hands trembling, holding the pale blue pendant against his chest.
He was chanting something.
The pendant began to glow, brighter and brighter, until it burned with celestial light.
Dravyss's roar turned into a scream of agony. She clutched her chest as her Azure core-stone started to bleed.
Wraith (terrified) — "Strom! Stop! You're killing her!"
But Strom didn't stop.
He knew exactly what he was doing.
After the Warlock Event, Dravyss had confessed a truth she had kept hidden — that her discipline and compassion were fragile before her true power. She told Strom of a forbidden spell — a spell strong enough to end her if she ever lost control.
But she also told him... that whoever cast it would also suffer pain.
What Dravyss never realized —
was that Strom had modified it.
He made the spell transfer half the pain to himself — so she wouldn't bear it alone.
Strom (through gritted teeth) — "I know what I'm doing."
In the next second, Dravyss's chest erupted with searing light — and blood poured from her mouth.
But at that same instant—
Strom collapsed, blood streaming from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. His entire face went crimson in seconds.
Wraith (panicking) — "Strom!! What are you doing!?"
Strom (smiling weakly) — "I'm... bearing half the pain... so Mom doesn't have to."
Wraith froze — she could hardly comprehend it.
But when she saw that faint, broken smile on his bloodstained face, she finally understood that Strom isn't Normal.
Wraith (furious) — "You psycho... you're gonna die doing this!"
She turned back — screaming — "GUYS! HELP ME!!"
Everyone rushed in.
They grabbed Strom, trying to pull his hands away from the pendant, but his grip was unbreakable.
The pain tore through both Dravyss and Strom — their screams echoing together, two hearts bound in agony.
And through all the pain — Strom was laughing.
Strom (screaming and smiling) — "Love you, Mom!!!"
He shouted the final words of the incantation.
A blinding light exploded — and then silence.
Dravyss's massive body began to shrink, her cosmic form dissolving into blue flame.
The pendant glowed violently — pulling her downward — back to Earth.
Moments later, she crashed hard into the ground near the cliff, shaking the land. The impact broke mountains.
The team rushed to her — battered but desperate.
Even half-dead, Strom was crawling on his knees, dragging himself through the dust toward her.
When they reached the fallen dragon, she wasn't moving. Her wings were shattered, her horns cracked, blood soaking the soil.
Strom — his body trembling, vision fading — grabbed Nia's hand.
His voice was weak but determined.
Strom: "Nia... take them away."
Nia: "Strom, what are you saying—?"
Strom: "I don't know if... the spell worked... She might still be hostile... please—save them Nia, please."
Nia hesitated, tears in her eyes. But she obeyed.
Before anyone could stop her, she transformed and scooped everyone up in her massive griffin claws, flying away.
Wraith (thrashing) — "NO! LET ME GO! HE'LL DIE THERE!"
But Nia didn't loosen her grip. She knew Strom wanted it this way.
Now alone, Strom dragged himself toward the fallen dragon — every inch painted with his blood.
He reached her claw and placed his trembling hand on it.
Strom (weak whisper): "Mom…?"
Silence.
His smile fades. tears falling on her scales.
Strom: "I'm sorry… you had to face all this because of me.
If I wasn't born, you wouldn't have to carry this burden.
I'm sorry, Mom. Please… don't leave me."
Still, no answer.
No breath.
Strom (breaking): "Mom… please. I'm nothing without you. I'm useless.
Please come back. Your son's begging you… just one last time."
He clutched her claw tighter — crying uncontrollably.
Strom (screaming): "Mom! Please don't go where I can't follow!"
Still… nothing.
His voice cracked as he fell to his knees, his heart collapsing under the weight of silence.
Then —
A faint, broken voice echoed from the massive dragon's lips.
Dravyss (weakly): "I'm not leaving you, son… never."
To anyone else, those were just words.
But to Strom — they were everything.
Because in that moment — her world, his mother, his life —
was still alive.
