Chapter 1 - When Love Lets Go

A sibling separated by tragedy and silence, Niekawa Mizuki has long been haunted by the question, "Where should I go?" Her elder brother once made an impossible choice to save her during a traumatic event, but left without explanation and never returned, always promising "soon." Left alone and unheard, Niekawa Mizuki recalls shouting from the balcony under the full moon, only to be ignored. This abandonment blurs the lines between love and hate, as the brother's protection comes at the cost of absence and mystery. The story centers on Niekawa Mizuki's emotional journey to understand this complicated love, uncover the truth behind the brother's choice, and ultimately find where she truly belongs amid loss and longing. Niekawa Mizuki's journey is to find out—not just where she belongs, but why love sometimes means letting go.
