The sky train trucked along the clouds, chugga chugga. It was sort of a sad train because of it's status as a public vehicle. It did not get the pleasure of seeing maintenance too often.
Inside a row in the cramped cabin sat a girl glued to the window. This was no ordinary girl, no this was Aurelia Silver, and Aurelia Silver is a little bit of a stupid girl.
"One million friends! One million friends!" She chanted with a moronic grin plastered to her face.
*Creak*
She turned her head slowly to see the cause of the sound which was the recently passing by waitress with a cart of refreshments. Their eyes locked momentarily before the waitress started to move on. Aurelia Silver darted to her extending across her seat and grabbing the waitress' arm.
"I'm normal I swear! I have lots of friends you know. I am quite popular where I come from!" She explained, not helping her cause.
The waitress shielded her thoughts with a kind smile while gently removing Aurelia's hand and progressing on her task. This girl is as much of an idiot as they come! Is what she thought as she escaped the true idiot girl.
The idiot girl, Aurelia Silver returned to smiling like an idiot out of the window when she was interrupted by loud thuds on the roof of the cabin.
*Crash!*
Aurelia turned to see a young man punching a very suspiciously dressed man through the roof of the cabin. By suspiciously dressed I mean whatever clothes you imagine when you think undercover criminal is probably appropriate.
This following script is Aurelia's thoughts as this happens:
What the FU-
Wait... holdup...
That is one big hunk!
Oh yeah I can just imagine him-
Okay Aurelia! I think this is a good spot to stop listening to her-
and he just grabs my throat like uh-
Much apologies reader, it would seem I the narrator should not have decided to share the thought processes of one of our tritagonists.
*Thwack* *Thwack*
The cabin rattled as the 'hot' newcomer attacked the suspiciously dressed man on the ground.
Reader.
I am the narrator, you may think, Yeah, but a trash one. To that I say, touché. However, right here, right now, I will actually do my job. So, please, pay attention so that my words may carry a semblance of meaning.
Ok here we go. Clothing; white tank, grey capris, hiking sandals. Body? Toned- like seriously though those arms, platinum blond hair, chocolate eyes, deep tan. Practically a Greek god. I mean just good lord what a man like him could- oh right. Apologies, y'know it's just...
He is that hot.
I agree narrator, he is that hot.
Goodness gracious the way he could just do what he wishes with me! The idea of just serving him gets my engine going!
Well it would seem I messed up and attracted a fourth wall break from the idiot girl. How about we get back into the action!
The unnamed hunk looked up from the unmoving body beneath him and over to Aurelia.
"You alright miss?"
Before she could respond the cabin door slammed and another young man, a similar age to our first stranger, walked in and towards the first.
"Geez, Drake you can't go throwing undercover bad guys in and out of sky trains when we are supposed to be on a covert mission."
"C'mon Ash they instantly recognized us, there aren't any other Dragon Knight duos and it was pretty obvious you were one when you tried to hit on the waitress with your fire powers."
"I guess we do stick out, hard to miss a giant 7 tattooed on their shoulders."
Ash now squatted next to Drake who had gotten up off the body he had pummeled.
"Now who are you pretty lady?"
Ash delivered said line with a very gross and creepy smirk.
"Uh- I'm Aurelia Silver."
The both nodded in agreement and got up. Drake picked up the body and threw it over his shoulder.
"Best to stick with us, there are about 3 more guys like this one on the train."
Aurelia nodded and they started to walk through the cabins.
"So, uhm, what is it that you guys are doing exactly?"
A look of realization dashed upon Drake's gorgeous face.
"Oh, sorry we didn't tell you! Apologies! We're Dragon Knights, apart of Squad 7."
"And we are on the train supposed to be trying to covertly prevent some smugglers from bringing in some underworld stuff. But this genius, Drake, decided to announce us by grabbing this guy and jumping through the roof in our cabin."
Ash glared at Drake who just shrugged in response.
In all honesty, Aurelia Silver heard nothing that passed through either's lips. Particularly the Squad 7 part which will be important later on. What, you might be wondering was Aurelia Silver paying attention to instead? I think you can figure that out.
Drake stopped, tapped Ash signaling to stop.
"Do you have any powers Aurelia?"
"Uh, yeah! I can do like anything with gold. Uhm so like making it and transforming it, those types of things."
Drake nodded in affirmation with Ash.
"We can't share much about our powers in accordance with the Dragon Knight rules but since you'll probably have to participate in battle with us, I'll go ahead and tell you."
Drake tossed the unconscious man into a row next to where we stood.
"Ash has standard fire powers."
Ash lifted his finger and made a little flame.
"And I have more complicated powers but basically I am.."
"Invincible."
Ash snickered and turned around and covered his laughter with his hand. Drake kicked him while keeping a pleasant face to look at Aurelia with.
Aurelia's response to said expression:
So dreamy!
"Anyways, right now our main priority is rounding up all of agents still on the train. Ash can easily get 2 by himself so me and you will be going together to get the other one. Ash where are they right now?"
Ash stuck out his arm and a bird made of fire crashed through a window and landed on his wrist.
"2 are in the next cabin and then the other is in the very last cabin."
Drake and Ash shared a look and Drake wrapped his arm around Aurelia.
"Watch your head."
And then he jumped through the ceiling.
