Chapter 88 – The One Who Shouldn't Exist

The air between them hung heavy — tense and sharp as Sasuke's chakra flared faintly.

He stepped closer, eyes narrowing, the Rinnegan in his left eye pulsing faint violet light.

"You know about the Ōtsutsuki clan," Sasuke said, his tone low, guarded.

"But no one in this era should even know that name. Tell me—who are you really?"

Akira blinked slowly, his golden eyes reflecting the distant light of Rōran's towers.

Inside, he was already thinking, So… he's cautious because he's fought one before. Someone with the same eyes as mine. It's one of the royal blood Otsustuki Wait I'm also a royal blood Otsustuki it's make sense now why he was so on edge I must also have the same aura as the other royal blood Otsustuki

Sasuke's hand hovered near his sword. His body was calm, but Akira could sense the tension under the surface — the reflexes of a man who had survived fight with gods.

Akira gave a small, almost teasing smile.

"You're sharp. I only know a little — bits and fragments about the Ōtsutsuki. You could say it's… old knowledge, passed through strange means I can't say but be sure I am not enemy."

Sasuke's gaze hardened.

"So you're not one of them?"

Akira tilted his head.

"Honestly? I'm not sure. But I was born and raised in Konoha — as part of the Uchiha clan. That's certain."

He gestured to his companion.

"And this is Kakashi. My teammate… and my friend."

Kakashi, silent till now, gave a short nod, still watching Sasuke cautiously.

Sasuke's eyes flicked between them before replying,

Akira asked Sasuke " I think you are looking for you companion?"

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha. The man I came with — he's Naruto Uzumaki. Have you seen him?"

Akira didn't hesitate.

"He's in the central area of Rōran."

That answer made Kakashi freeze.

"Wait—that's where Minato-sensei went to investigate," Kakashi said sharply.

Sasuke turned toward the city, his chakra surging.

"Then I don't need your help. Stay here."

And before anyone could speak again, his form blurred and vanished in a flash of black — Body Flicker.

The air he left behind rippled faintly with power.

Kakashi stared at the empty space, then turned toward Akira with exasperation.

"You said he wouldn't attack us," he muttered. "He almost did! If he hadn't stopped at the last moment, we'd be dead."

Akira gave a soft laugh, though his expression didn't match it

"Yeah… I didn't expect him to be that tense either."

Kakashi folded his arms.

"He saw your golden Byakugan, Akira. That's what set him off. If what you said is true — that someone he was fighting had the same eyes — then maybe…"

He hesitated.

"Maybe that person is your father?"

For a moment, the desert wind seemed to stop.

Akira's eyes lowered slightly, his voice quiet but firm.

>"No. It's not him. And even if it is…"

He looked up, his golden eyes gleaming faintly in the dusk.

"…that wouldn't be my father anyway. The one who's coming is from another world — and my father is not to go around like this Otsustuki. so it impossible that my father is the one coming. And that old man will now that it will be dangerous to me if any other Otsustuki find out my exist so. my father is keeping distence. Even in the another world."

Kakashi's eyes widened slightly, but before he could speak, Akira continued, his tone calm but distant.

"It doesn't matter who he is. What matters is that he's here… and whatever brought them here will bring the Otsustuki too. And we need to finish the mission fast and tell brother Minato about this and leave. This place will be dangerous when the the Otsustuki come ."

He turned his gaze toward the glowing heart of Rōran's city.

"The real storm hasn't started yet."
